CHARACTERName: Graem Fontes
Age: 17, first day of the seventh month.
Species and Gender: Female Human
Symbol: The Fontes' family emblem: two simplified shadow hands [one is above, making the shape of a triangle roof, and the other a backwards L (the thumb is vertical, the other fingers are horizontal)] forming a house in the space between.
Themes: WiP [I'll make it eventually!]
Occupation: Beacon First-Year Student
Novice Family Guard (when her family needs it)
Appearance: Graem Fontes stands at about 6.8ft, and weighs 139kg. Her limber but strong physique, is what you get between a flexible ballet dancer, and a natural bodybuilder. Her muscles are quite defined due to her dedication to nutrition, and exercise. Her lower half is a bit longer, than her upper half. She has pale skin, grey eyes, and long, grey, curly hair that falls on the middle of her back. Her gait is somewhat akin to a fashion model, or a business woman. This trait was gained from watching, and imitating the way her mother walked, and, other women of her family. She does note that other women in Vale, don't usually walk like this, but she doesn't mind. She almost always looks neutral, only showing emotion when she's exhibiting a concerning amount of effort. Graem looks a bit older than her age, and looks after herself. Well enough that she doesn't have any sort of skin, or health problems anyway. She's attractive enough to be mistaken for a model of some description. She usually wears one of five things, when appropriate:
Her battle attire,
Graem's battle attire consists of a stylized grey and black suit of cloth armor with metal plates [pauldrons, has platings on the side of her upper arm (that faces away from the body, but has none on the other side), elbow-length gauntlets, chestplate (no plating on her stomach, or lower back, though) cuisses and knee-length greaves (her symbol is located on her platings, just above her elbows, not the elbow pit)], boots, a helmet, and a grey shirt underneath (her hair is tucked under her armor, and above her shirt). There are slight patches of chain mail (on the plates) located on just above her elbow pits, and knees, just below the back of her hands, and on her dorsal feet (nearing the toes, but not the feet's upper joints). She uses these patches as places to hold her chains using the lobster clasps. The overall armor is light-weight, and though it can take a few blows, it is not as strong as regular armor. However, these platings are built so that the armor allows her free movement and full range of motion. The visor (armor) of her knight's helmet has small circular holes for her to see, and breathe with. The front of her leather boots, has a
box, a feature from pointe shoes (which allows to do ballet in armor easier), but the soles underneath are built for running. Her hip pockets carry the two xiphos swords in their sheaths, and her chain is securely wrapped around one of her forearms (but not too tightly), similar to a bracer. In this, her softest steps can be quite obvious to attentive ears. The jingling of her chains and chain patches, as well as her somewhat hard shoes, do not help matters either. She does not mind it, though. She looks like a skirmishing knight with a huge chain bracer.
Casual Attire,
This consists of an overtly stylized grey and black frilly, lacy gown. [It has slight shoulder puffs, sleeves that droop like a wizard's robe (the ones on her forearms), small, blunt, triangular edges, a sophisticated lace pattern overall, and the skirt's length goes down to the middle of her shins.] Over this is a sleeveless, businesswoman's collared jacket and small, white cuffs above her forearms (with black buttons at the front, and her symbol at each cuffs' back), added on top a chequered, grey and black, beret cap (this is somewhat tight on her head to prevent it from blowing away in the wind, also the cap visor is black). Finishing off with black tights and wearing 5 inch black and grey high heel boots, and a designer handbag of a similar colour. With these, she might be mistaken for an old-fashioned aristocrat, or model. She can fight, or run in this attire, though the heels, if left on for too long, will damage her feet. She often wears this attire with her open toe sandals (these are inside shoes) instead, when she's inside her dorm and getting herself comfy.
Summer Wear,
A grey and black, short-sleeved, below knee-length dress, with open toe sandals (outside shoes) of similar colour. Graem's hair is on a ponytail tied by a black ribbon.
Sportswear,
A sleeveless grey, and black sports shirt, shorts, socks, and sneakers of similar color. Again, with a ponytail tied back with a black ribbon.
or, her Beacon Uniform.
She wears these as how as it should be worn. Clean, proper, and with a tie. There's not much else to note. She wears these when necessary. If there're days with which she's allowed to not wear her uniform, she wears with what she feels is appropriate.
History:
Eulalia Fontes, and Devlin Holte. The Head of the Fontes' family guards, and a huntsman, fell in love, and eventually made love, bringing GrimmGraem into the world. Her father settled on making money in his job, while her mother raised her until she has recovered enough to do her job again. Graem in her days as a baby watched her mother exercise, and, with nothing to do, tried to imitate her, succeeding, but mostly failing in various degrees. Leaving her to be taken care of by her older siblings, Eulalia left to do her duties as chief-of-staff and head of the family guards. Graem's parents spent time raising her when they were off-duty.
As soon as Graem can walk, she was trained, as it is tradition for the women (in her family), in ballet and gymnastics, under the tutelage of Margaret Fontes, her matron and grandmother, when she wasn't too busy teaching others, or performing. Interspersed between these times, are the ones were her parents taught her general life skills (cleaning, cooking, reading and writing etc.). When she wasn't traveling with the family, she spent her leisure exercising what she had learnt.
She became proficient at the basics (basically all that she has learnt) when she was 8. It was also at this point were they trained her to be a family guard, educating her about advanced gymnastics and ballet, and their applications for battle (Grandmother), general manners and courtesies (aunt), general combat tactics, using a standard first-aid kit, general laws, Grimm, aura and semblance (mother), hand-to-hand combat, how to swim, making, and maintaining armor, and the why they are doing these (from father) even hiring Aoteien-sensei (he was the best their money could afford) to teach her about weapons, and how to combat against them. At 10, she, with Aoteien-sensei's guidance, made her weapon Apathy, and he taught her how to use and maintain it. Though she has not mastered any fighting style, she performs all her skills properly to the point where it became ingrained to her. Remaining stoic, and apathetic throughout her ordeals, she has all of these down pat (though, she's certainly not as strong as the masters of the craft) by the time she was 15.
At 13, Graem was a novice family guard. In this job, she spent her time protecting her family, with other capable family guards, against bandits, Grimm, or other hostilities. She works alone, but she does know how to fight, or retreat whenever applicable. Some opponents were a bit more difficult than others, but she made it with or without her family's help (they allowed her to take on what she can handle, and protected her when she can't).
Graem has never questioned her duties (thanks to Devlin telling her about the whys), even striving to better herself each day. Due to her elegant tenacity, she is one of her family's pride and joys (the others are Grandmother, Aunt and a select few siblings, cousins and other relatives). She already knows that being a family guard is only a family job and that she needs to find a path of her own (courtesy of her parents). The family couldn't put their finger on it, but they think she's robotic, in terms of her actions. When she wasn't in guard-duty, or exercising, she spent time with her father, educating her on how to drive civilian vehicles (cars, motorcycles, even horse riding, among others), knowing all the basics, and getting her driving license by the time she was 16 and three quarters. After that, he, and mother showed her around the cities of Vale, informing her of the paths she could choose, and told her about Beacon, and why she can better herself there. After a few days of convincing, she decided to try Beacon out. Who knows? Perhaps it's worth her time.
Due to her family's, and Aoteien-sensei's guidance, her academic scores were above average. Her physical scores were a bit higher, but it's certainly not close to perfect. She plans to become a graduate of Beacon. After that, she'll likely go back to her job as a family guard, unless beings convince her otherwise (that'll usually take, like, a lot of convincing, though).
Also, she appears to be newly acquainted with a viverrid faunus of some sort. He often leaves with her two playful ravens (male and female), at odd times, while he's out doing missions. They're more companions than pets. Also, they've been around people long enough that they understand some words and gestures. They usually do their own thing in the background, but can be asked to detect carrion, or raven food. [Coming Soon]
TL;DR- Graem was born, and raised by her family of performers. She got taught stuff, and can basically show what she has learnt in proper form, whenever applicable. She's elegant when she's fighting, and not. She can drive
coz dad.
Personality: As one of her family's pride and joys, Graem Fontes always carries herself with simple, if nonchalant, elegance. Aside from her family, and Aoteien-sensei, she has little to no experience with people, but this does not bother her. Her family, through collaborative efforts, taught her the basics, so she's confident with communication, and her studies. But, apart from her family (whom she's loyal to), her studies, meals (she eats a lot, often at restaurants, cafes, or outside, but not too much), general laws, schedules and her routine exercises (she trains, like, every muscle that she can), she cares about little else. Even malicious rumours about her, and her family do not phase her. Though, if you confront her about it, she will tell you the truth based on what she has seen. If they speak obscenities to her directly, well, her actions will depend on how they've spoken their words. She won't bother to change their views, though she'll remind them that those are rude in some nonchalant manner. Anyone can talk to her (she's quite casual, even on her doings), as long as they're not disrupting her physically. She's generally calm, frighteningly accepting, and
even somewhat considerate throughout her life, even when in danger, or when the situations change. Also, she's blunt, mature and neutral towards everything. Though she is flexible with her time, she won't hesitate to ignore you entirely, or move you out of the way if you are disrupting her.
Graem is usually quite solitary, spending her not-in-class school times, or leisures at home, studying (about nutrition, diet, food and medicine, sometimes outside, whenever it is applicable, or if a change of pace is in order), doing schoolwork, or exercising. She has no friends (her part of the family, and Aoteien-sensei don't count). She does not know the conventions of such a relationship, in general (though she does respect others, and is generally unobtrusive). As such, if others want her as a friend, it would take them a considerable amount of effort, both in their parts, and Graem's. She does not like being indebted to someone, and will try to repay him/her/them one way or the other if this occurs. If one, or more, show concerning amounts of emotion, or, if a concerning amount of people are surrounding... something, she may want to know why, if her schedule allows it. She treats team mates as allies (not friends, but... they could be), and if she sees that her teammates efforts are unsatisfactory, she will talk with each of them to try, and work out the solution/s to these problem/s. If those don't work, she will talk to the academy staff. After that, she won't care about those problems anymore, and will continue her doings. Graem understands what allies are, however, and if she deems one useful, she'll go to that being and help him/her/it as best as she can, whenever it is necessary. However, she'll expect her allies to repay the favor, one way or another, or that they could help her family when they are in danger. To her, and perhaps many others, this is common courtesy.
Side Note: She's asexual, but she's currently on the lookout for a guy that fits (preferably ones that are as strong, if not stronger than her, because requirements and kids). You know what I'm saying?
Inventory [Listing not all of her items (doesn't mean I can pull bullshit items, though.)]
If allowed:
(usu. in an stylized, ultralight grey and black combat backpack)
-standard grey and black telescope
-stylized grey and black sleeping bag
-standard ultralight first-aid kit
-balanced packed meals of some description (the amount depends on how long the trek is)
-rain shelter (fit for one person)
Miscellaneous:
-standard scroll (with a stylized grey and black casing)
-stylized (appears to be lacy) black and grey wireless earphones (she often listens to songs/instrumentals of industrial music, while exercising)
Aura and Semblance: -Graem's aura is grey in color. Her entirety glows grey when using either her aura, or her semblance.
-Aoteien-sensei (Eulalia, through her guidance and Graem's efforts) was responsible for the developments in her aura, and semblance.
-Her aura pool is above average. She usually spends her aura towards defense, her semblance or bolstering a few of her physical feats.
-Her sixth sense is unlocked, though aside from what this does, it's not that special. This is as functional as what they'd expect from an average first-year.
Graem's semblance allows her to make aura-based metal constructs. These are only limited to the structures she knows, which, for now, is only one thing. Chains. She's able to manifest an aura-based steel chain (see
Primary Form), through a somewhat ornate glyph (that sounds like the clinking of chains), with little consequence, at a range (up to 1.5 meters), usually in an instant.
-She's able to summon up to five (20% per chain), though, usually not at the same time, or consecutively.
-She normally uses this chain to grab her own material weapon from afar, or as a temporary, yet functional weapon.
-Once manifested, she's unable to magically control them (like making them levitate).
-She's able to reabsorb them, through a similar glyph, however, it will only provide her up to half the aura that she used to make it, and will only remedy half of the physical energy expended.
-These aura chains take the qualities of steel. Thirty seconds, then, its strength will start to diminish, and will dissipate completely once another thirty seconds have passed.
-The chain does not depend on her aura once it is summoned, though that is required when she needs to repair it, and renew the timer.
Casting two chains at the same time will cost her 55% of her aura.
-Both these chains have the same efficacies as previously stated. She can fight with them through adrenaline, but after that she'll likely faint, short after.
-Casting three at the same time will cost her all her aura, will pop a few blood vessels, and to become stunned for a few moments, with a few minutes of weariness, shortly after. All three chains are slightly weaker, and are barely functional as weapons. She can barely use them once they have manifested.
Forming another (after she's summoned one) will cost her 75% more aura (costs 35%), and will fatigue her quicker.
-There is a timer (225 seconds, or around 3m 45s) that diminishes the additional casting cost by 3% every 4 seconds (or .75% per second), though this only applies after she has summoned one chain.
-Another 75% will be added to the cost for every time she decides to conjure another chain during the timer/s. So, say she chooses to summon one, if there're two timers on, that'll cost her 50% (which is the other half of her aura), a few popped blood vessels, making her have slight bleeding under the skin, and she'll take slight, but recoverable damage to her aura pool, forming a slightly weaker chain. It is barely functional, and it's a bit weak, so it might be easy to break. Then if there are three timers, it would normally cost her 65%, but due to her stamina costs and having little to no aura (due to simple math), the resulting chain will be malformed and will fade in a few moments. That chain's summoning will cause permanent damage to her body, and aura pool.
[What I'm getting at is that she can't spam chains everywhere, since it'll cost her big time, and those summonings are normally unnecessary since she has her own weapon, and can normally defend herself without having to resort to her semblance too much.]
Technique/s
Chain Bindings
First Variant: She's able to bind a foe in two wraps of tight, steel chains within range (0-1.5 meters). This is an insta-cast once the prerequisites are met. So, before that:
-She's required to "power up" for 12 seconds. She is unable to perform complex acrobatics, or complicated thinking during this time (though she is able execute simpler movements).
-She's able to "hold" the power for about 15 seconds, before casting. Anymore will cost her her aura, and physical energy. In these 15 seconds, more or less, she can choose to cast it, or reabsorb the aura. After 15 seconds, it's likely that she might cast it accidentally, or through a harmful backlash, damages her aura pool temporarily.
-Once she has started to cast this technique, the costs paid are based on how much time she spent "powering up".
-Once she's "powering up" she'll glow grey, with many sparkles of grey "stars" (an aesthetic effect). Every sound her body makes during her charging, will sound slightly metallic. Once she casts the technique, a few loud, clinking glyphs will surround her target suddenly, and, a binded target is acquired.
-She normally uses this on a person, faunus, or some specimen that her 3m chains can wrap around, and bind. Though, beings that are wider than her chains cannot be bound.
-They can be broken. But she can choose to repair the chains by "holding" them with her semblance (if the target is within range (0-1.5m), though, it will require her aura, adrenaline, and physical, and mental focus in doing so. She is already a bit weary from casting the bindings. The maximum time she can "hold" it is ten seconds, more or less, depending on how much the chains are breaking. A stronger foe can break this in much less time, however.
-They could interrupt her "powering up" or either types of "holds" by disrupting her focus, through causing her significant physical injury. But she's not so foolish as to cast it on a mobile foe, or a generally weak opponent, much less stronger foes.
Costs: 60% of her aura, and she will be fatigued physically, and mentally for a few moments, but with focus, and adrenaline, she may be able to "hold" the wraps around her foe for a few seconds.
Second Variant:
-Binds her opponent tightly with a 3m long chain.
-The aforementioned rules apply, save for taking this 6 seconds cast, a timer at a minute and 53 secs. (approx.) and costing her 40% of her aura.
Chain Snatch/Reabsorb
A chain (summoned via hand glyph), with an incomplete chain link, at the end, its existence used to grab her chain from a range (up to 3 meters) by clasping the material chain with her now completed link, reabsorbing the aura chain, and regaining her weapon. Insta-cast, but the rules mentioned still apply, esp. the timer rule, though that varies depending on the length of the summoned chain.
Chain Links (Bracer Variant)
Since her aura is used to defend her chain bracers (and due her sense of touch, also), she's able to notice when her links are cut, or are too damaged. This is the most instinctive part of her semblance, as it allows her to reform/fill the links with her aura chains the instant her chains are damaged, though temporary. If the bracers are on her forearms, her glyphs are centered on her palms, if on lower legs, they're instead centered on her soles. The mentioned rules do, again, apply here, but what is of note is that the timers, and casting costs are based on the length of the chain link [Less chain length= shorter timer and aura costs]. These summons usually cost 1-10% per use.
Tight Chain Bracelet
Mentioned rules apply. Insta-cast. Self-explanatory. Used to temporarily defend or parry in cqc, when unarmored. Costs around 7% approximately. Timer is around 1m and 15s.
-The chains, or any metals she summons, for those matters, glow a sparkly grey, accompanied by small grey "stars" as an aesthetic effect.
-She could focus on creating other object/s. But she has to be familiar with said object/s structure, in order to form it properly. These processes might take quite a few weeks, months, years, or never depending on her aura pool, and said object/s' structure. A few others might be able to convince her to build other object/s, but that will take quite a bit of convincing, at the very least, because for now, she feels as if she's satisfied with the way it is. She isn't very imaginative, so it takes her quite a while to manifest other metal things without a guide.
-Her semblance can be augmented by using dust, though she does not know that yet.
Combat Behavior:
CQC Behavior
Evading/Parrying/Counterattacks- This is casual faire most of the time, since she always starts with the approach: Be ready for everything! She can evade and parry "soft" hits by using her ballet movements casually, and counterattacking (again, with ballet, but also some round kicks and/or spin kicks), in response. Heavy attacks will require her to evade/parry (through either spin dodging, or acrobatics such as flips, rolls, etc.), usually in a fast, complex manner, but, if possible, tries to be in a position where she can return the favor. She is able to perform several complex moves, but those can be interrupted if the opponent can outspeed her. Anyone with lighter armor, quicker reflexes, or a speed-boosting semblance, can do that, but ones with heavier armor, are a bit/a lot easier to counter (varies with her opponents' abilities, actions, limits and what not).
Her purpose in doing these, are basically her attempts to conserve energy, and observe her opponents' capabilities.
Strikes- Due to her conservative combat styles, she only truly engages in offense if she feels as if she's safe, in taking that risk.
Her "soft" ballet hits are good enough to equate as punches, kicks etc. but ultimately take too long if she decides to defeat them with this.
Her heavy strikes can be simple or complex, though with varying consequences. Simple, heavy (SH) strikes need quite a bit before she can give it an extra oomph, but, a sudden SH strike might cost her her aura to heal from the recoil damage (otherwise, the injury will develop into a detriment in further battle/s).
In theory, she can place all her efforts in a SH strike, but she'll only really be able to perform what's humanly possible with her aura, and strength (most of it is her human strength). She'll also be vulnerable for a few minutes, at least, if she ever does this.
Her complex, heavy (CH) strikes consists of devastating feats of acrobatics, ballet, or spin kicks. Thing is, if they're opponent is quick enough (or recover enough), they can dodge, block, or worse, interrupt these. Her CH strikes are powerful, but, she only risks doing these if she has placed her opponents' in a position where they can't defend themselves physically. (She'll stop attacking if she sees her opponents' aura blur out, or if they've fainted for some reason. She won't kill anyone.) She cannot abuse these since, these fatigue her rather quickly if she decides to do those too much, too fast! She knows she must take caution in doing so.
Defending- Her armor is not the best, but it is functional. Opponents, who are smart/who have learned enough, know that her armor has several weak points [the space between her greaves and cuisses, helmet and pauldrons, her stomach and lower back in general, etc., look at her battle attire for a more clear idea], this is part of the reason why she evades/parries so much. Another reason is that her armor, and aura can't block too much, since her plates are light-weight, and, though it can save her for a few blows, it is simply not as strong as regular plates. Without her aura, her armor won't be able to defend her during long battles. That is why she often maintains her armor/weapons each day, if applicable, since they're a bit easier to break. She can fight in clothes other than her armor, though her chances of survival are noticeably slim without it, and aura.
Chainwielding/Xiphos Swordwielding/Chain Bracers
Though not a master, her skills in these prove to be functional due to Aoteien-sensei's teachings. It took her around 6 years (10 til 16) to fully learn these movesets.
Blows/Whips
"Soft" blows (from the blunted weight), and ("soft") whips are generally used to bait, and test her opponents' abilities. Though swift, it generally doesn't deal that much damage unless her opponent is, like, really weak (low HP and DEF) or something. To her, again, this is casual faire. It takes little effort to do this, and, she can recover quickly if her attacks are batted away, or interrupted.
Medium blows/whips from these are generally used to defend/parry against weapons against close quarters. Heavy blows/whips from these, are usually in tandem with her cqc skills for maximum effect! Again, complex* moves can be disrupted.
Ensnaring
If she decides to do this, she cannot be reckless! Due to her weapon's construction, she has to use her aura to prevent it from being cut, especially when attempting to snare her opponent's weapon. Snatching an average sword is a bit easier, but snaring a great sword, or sharper swords in general, is a bad idea. Because she has to prioritize her weapon to not be cut. In general, and/or in public places, she does not ensnare with her xiphoses attached.
with her two xiphos attached (to her chain)
During normal/class missions, or duels, she may choose to attach her xiphoses to her chain. "Soft" whip slashes are, again, generally used to bait, and/or test her opponent/s, with medium whip slashes used to defend/parry, and heavy for complex moves. If the edges hit her target, her foe might have to prioritize in defense, or healing, for obvious reasons. Usually, these short swords are used to whip slash her opponents, generally not using them for its (the swords')... intended purpose.
chain bracer/s
When wrapped on one, or both of her forearms, or lower legs (and clasping their respective chain patches), her chains, as an alternative, can generally be used as bracer/s to assist her defensively in close combat. Her arms feel a bit heavy, though. If she is not using her aura to fortify them, they may become cut, or battered by her opponents' cqc weaponry, forcing her to use her semblance in order to keep her chains together.
RQC (Ranged Quarters Combat) Behaviour
Aoteien-sensei trained her in this simply because long-ranged destructive projectile weapons are commonplace. This generally involves her using her cqc skills/chainwielding, while running to safety, if her chances of safety are low (which is most of the time).
Due to her training, surviving some projectile users is a bit easier if she is up close with its users (though her chances of getting shot is... pretty high, especially with miniguns, and the like), but, even with this, her chances of survival are still low. Inexperienced users, if they're close, may find themselves disarmed by her cqc skills/chainwielding, though users who are more proficient, up close will likely kill her in a few shots, if she chooses not to retreat. Experts are most certainly out of the question!
During long-ranged bouts, she can try and triangulate her foes' shots, and determine what type of projectile weapon they're using through sound (she can't tell the exact model, but she can say its basic types, like if it's an assault rifle, or a submachine gun, just to name a few). If her chances are high enough (exceedingly rare, if without allies), she could pursue a foe, but she usually retreats.
Alternatively, she can use her chain (attached to one of her leg's sets of chain patches), in tandem with her breakdancing (from capoeira), or her other, general cqc skills, if applicable.
Graem's complex moves are somewhat elegant, if a bit too flamboyant, and are strong, but they're also risky since disrupting her mid-move is a good way to cripple her temporarily, or permananently (if done right, of course).
She is able to throw things that are almost one-and-a-half her weight (209.5 kg), that she, or her chain, can hold onto.
If her foes' are smart enough (they've paid attention somewhat in their combat classes/training), or instinctive enough, they'll know that her type of chain weapon can be easily disrupted with average, simple precision, if they're focused enough. However, she does make efforts to hit stronger, and quicker, her weapon is usually hard to follow, after all.
Her cqc moveset is usually not easy to interrupt simply because most of the time, she'll be very cautious, and will only take significant risks if she thinks she's safe. If not, her damage is usually low, generally because she's evading/blocking/parrying whenever applicable.
Though her chain/xiphoses help, she isn't overly reliant on her weapon. If she happens to be disarmed, or unarmed, in general, she's able to use her cqc skills without fuss (though she does try to get her weapon, if possible).
Also, if she's using her armor, or heels, she generally fails at stealth, since they're loud, and sticks out like a sore thumb during battles.
By exercising, and eating healthy for most of her life, she is physically very capable. She exercises and strives to better herself each day. Her records are as follows (these can be achieved without aura use):
-she can jump up to 5.8ft, in armor (around, 1.75m)
-sprint for up to 15mph (around 6.7 meters per second) in her armor, for a short period of time
-capable of using her cqc, and weapon tactics, in armor, while running at 8mph (3 meters per second)
-can bench 196kgs, squat 220kg, and deadlift 209.5kg.
These are what Google told me:
-Becca Swanson, according to Wikipedia and other sources, is known by many as the world's strongest woman. Weighting 140 kgs, she is able to deadlift 310 pounds, squat 478 kgs, and bench 270 kgs. I know for a fact that these numbers are lower than what the strongest human male can accomplish. Graem is doing her best to reach world records in-universe.
-Humans can usually run at an average of around 8mph, when in a marathon. Faster people, in average, have about 15mph as their maximum speed, for a short period of time.
-Stefka Kostadinova is the current record holder for women's high jump (6.9 ft approx.)
Graem's fighting style consists of somewhat advanced ballet and gymnastics, some aspects of taekwondo and capoeira, somewhat proficient chainwielding, and is somewhat trained, in combat, against ranged oppositions. Usually, in a team situation, she is able to either provide support, in terms of close combat, or fight in solitude, either or. She doesn't mind working with others, nevertheless, she warns them beforehand in some polite variant of: "This. *points to armor* This is loud. You may stay behind me (for support), but for safety reasons, don't come near me, unless you can mind the chains, and not interrupt my movements, or when I'm clearly retreating." She fights in a manner that is fluid, overtly elegant, yet apathetic, and almost burlesque (but not quite). In close combat, she plans her moves ahead (even when enacting some of her plans) and will execute them in proper form when necessary. Her armor, and abilities disallow her to focus on just an action (such as only defending, for one), so she has to mix and match between her many options in order to outlast, outsmart, or at least, survive her combatant/s (or killers). She is not a master of any of her weapon's styles and martial arts, (or ballet, and gymnastics, for that matter), and the ones that specialize in those can outmatch, outmaneuver, and/or overpower her. Foes that specialize in smarts, evasion, defense or strength could outdo her, in those traits, as well. She is conservative of her strength, and exercises caution as best as she could with each thought, and movement. If her chances are high enough, she will take each and every opportunity to strike down a dangerous threat with careful precision. Due to these, she usually lasts long in many fight/s in close quarters.
Projectile users are different matters entirely, however. Graem is trained enough to defend, and/or evade against some of them at a distance, with varying degrees of success (from possibly easy low-ranged users, to unreasonably distanced snipers), though the fact remains that she is heavily disadvantaged against them. Again, if her chances are reasonably high, she could pursue and subdue a ranged foe, but chances like those are exceptionally rare. In most cases, if she has little to work with, she must retreat and defend as best as she can. Or else bad things happen, on Graem's end, at least. On a somewhat lighter note, her few siblings and many cousins asked her why she fights in the aforementioned manner, when it is much simpler performing shorter, more focused hits, or making a gun and shooting with it, either or. It is simply because those options are what her family has taught her (and Aoteien-sensei), and, due to their efforts she is somewhat thankful (to those that taught her), proud because she has lasted this long with what they have provided.
Graem's overall skills/reflexes are best described as average (enough that she doesn't hurt her herself while using her weapon, or cqc skills), yet enduring, but is not close to fully-mastered. During most of her cqc fights, she generally lots of options, but with average first-year strength. Her heavier hits, and quicker dodges may surprise her foes, though. If with chains, she generally fights cqc battles around a consistent 1.5-2 metres, along with her cqc skills to push her target/s back if they get too close. If without, her cqc is equal to an average first year, but she could surprise her foes, again, with her heavy hits, and quick reflexes. Any sort of particularly strong, quick and/or complex skills can't be used too much, too fast! Otherwise, she'll lose her stamina (which is normally above average). She is almost always conservative, observant, careful and methodical, so generally, she lasts long in most of her battles.
Zan'nin'na Mukanshin Style
Aoteien-sensei asked Graem if she wanted to learn how to fight murderers toe to toe, she casually agreed. She is only able to use this style against murderers. She pinky-promised to never use it on anyone other than them. If the culprits are misguided, she'll use her aforementioned cqc skills/chainwielding against them endeavouring to subdue her foes, however, if against those who chose to be murderers, she will retaliate in an attempt to return the favour. These foes can expect: xiphos strikes (to vital points in the body, usually in the upper arms, which hold her foes' weapon/s), chain/xiphos thrusts (same targets), ensnaring the neck, etc. basically anything that can make a referee call fowl, or just stop the match. She still retains her cautious, observant, and casual attitude in a fight, however. This style does not mean she can reckless, nor does this give her any boost of power. [One can notice that she'll still fight like she normally does, just with brutal attacks/counters.] This style does not guarantee her safety, nor the murderers', but this helps. He advised her to not use this, in general, unless her foes are genuine murderers. Telling her that those innocent/"normal" people shouldn't encounter one, if at all, possible. Lastly, if her foes aren't murderers, she will most likely not show others her dagger skills, save for her non-lethal whip slashes.
TL;DR
Factoids
In general, she has lots of options, in close quarters combat, though her armor's defense is below average. Due to her upbringing, her moves look quite elegant, if a bit too flamboyant, though she looks indifferent while doing so.
Average weapon/cqc proficiency.
-A few moves may be surprisingly strong, or fast, but her surprises can't be used too much, too quickly or she'll risk losing her stamina.
-Complex moves (such as a few spin dodges, kicks, somersaults etc.) can be disrupted quicker opponents, leaving her vulnerable to attacks, though she only uses these if she must. [Like, knocking out an opponent, or dodging life-threating attacks, etc.]
-Generally spends her time being cautious and observant and, also evading, blocking or parrying. She won't take significant risks, or truly engage in offense unless she's safe in doing so.
-Her combat proficiencies will likely be as strong as an average first-year, if she's not taking any risks.
-Usually a somewhat distant cqc fighter, with chains. If not, she's simply an average cqc combatant.
-Usually lasts long in most cqc fights due to her above average stamina.
Above average aura and semblance proficiency.
-Her aura and semblance can only grant her a few options in a battle, however. The "too much, too quick" rule applies here, even more so, than discussed previous, as what she's losing is both her aura
and stamina.
In regards to projectile users:
-Her chances are a bit better when she's close (though the percentages of survival are
still low), but those also risk her getting shot even more. Most inexperienced users will usually be disarmed, however. If she feels she's doing badly, or, if she feels too disadvantaged (in most cases), she will do her best to defend herself while retreating.
-She usually retreats when faced against unseen, distanced users, if without allies, or with insufficient backup, while using her cqc skills/chainwielding, doing her best to defend, evade, parry, etc. whenever applicable, or possible.
-Can differentiate most projectile weapons (her knowledge is simplified, though), by sound. She can only hear what's humanly possible.
-[Exceedingly rare, if without allies] She could pursue a ranged foe, by using common sense tracking skills.
Also, she uses no dust, and generally fails at stealth (if she's wearing her armor, or heels).
WEAPONName: Apathy
A 3m long, stylized grey and black chain, with a small, blunted, diamond-shaped weight on one end. This chain features four lobster clasps: one on one end (that's not the weight), one in .75 metres, and two in 1.5 metres). She may choose to attach her two xiphos swords in each end. Her weapon's type is generally used to fight one or two opponents, but with her cqc skills, she can hold her own against multiple opponents for a reasonable amount of time. Also, it's supposed to be a stealth weapon, but she doesn't use it as such. Foes that are smart, and/or instinctive enough can easily disrupt her chain skills. However, the chain/weight/s weapons are usually unpredictable, if it's user is proficient enough (though they normally have a four-year learning curve, when guided).
Primary Variant: Her chain, and weight (w/o xiphos swords). The 1m part (clasped into the chain patch above the elbow pit) is usually wrapped somewhat, or held. The other 2m is used for general chain skills.
Secondary Variant: Apathy is able to carry stylized black/grey xiphos swords at each end. Each of the xiphos have a lobster clasp at the bottom of the handle that can she attach to her chain. The two xiphos she has are normally carried in their respective sheaths, in her armor's hip pockets.
Tertiary Variants: Her chain wrapped around one of her forearms or lower legs, clasped into their respective chain patches. These function as a bracer.
Quarternary Variants: By the unclasping the middle lobster clasps, she has two 1.5 meter chains that she chooses too wrap around either each forearm or each lower leg. Again, these function as bracers.
Quinary Variant:
One 1.5 meter chain with her xiphos attached to one end, and the other, clasped into the chain patch at the back of one of her hands. She has two these. Both clasped into the back of each hand's chain patch. This variant is the one she is uses for the Zan'nin'na Mukanshin style.
Senary Variant: One xiphos attached to the weighted end of the chain.
Septenary Variant: Her chain unattached to her chain patches.
Apathy does not possess any dust functions.
History: Graem's apathy manifested (with help from Aoteien-sensei). It took her quite a while to make it, but with his help, and schematics, she has done it! He taught her how to maintain her weapon, and she does do this when necessary.
RELATIVES AND NPCS
The Fontes' extended family is somewhat well-renowned in Vale. They are a wealthy traveling group of acrobats whose skills, are even discussed a few times in Vale's council. Though, all of them usually perform for the pay, they can perform for charity, if need be.
Margaux Fontes- Graem's Grandmother, Matron, wife to the head of the family, and one of the few to be bestowed the title of prima ballerina assoluta, only awarded to the most notable ballet dancers. Margaret is strict, and hardworking. She's also taller than Eulalia, so she's taaaaaaaalll! She's also a capable huntress, if need be. She was pretty cool back in the days of her prime.
Egesa Fontes- Her aunt. Well-mannered, vengeful and at times, terrifying. Heiress of the Fontes family, and prima ballerina.
Eulalia Fontes- Her mother. TALL WOMAN [She's taller than Graem!]. The Fontes families' Chief of Staff, and Head of the Fontes' family guards. Well-versed in aura, combat, and semblances. Motherly, but expects everyone to show the appropriate amount of respect towards one another.
Devlin Holte- Her father. Huntsman. That crazeh mofockin' freelancer from the Atlas Air Fleet. Vehicles Expert. Renowned practitioner of many martial arts. Uses them in tandem with small vehicles ranging from a skateboard, hoverboard, or motorcycle. He can pilot vehicles to fight (he's even able to use fighter jets), and is quite great at it. Devlin is optimistic, and likes to make others laugh from time to time. He's a cinnamon roll, but is well-versed (because wife), enthusiastic, yet reckless in fighting.
Aoteien-sensei: Weapons Instructor. Nearing old age, but is still cool. Serious and quite mysterious, he stations himself in Vale's more questionable districts, teaching others in an academy [like Signal, but that academy (the one he's teaching in) is as questionable as the districts, if not, less so)- Also, there's bound to be other academies in Vale (other than Signal, or Beacon)!] about weapons, and how to combat against them, but can teach privately if the pay's worth it. He hails from Mistral.
She has a few siblings, several unrelated (by bloodline) butlers and maids, many cousins, and other relatives from the Fontes' extended family, though, they have not affected her life much and thus they aren't that noteworthy to her.
Iyyar Fontes- Head of the Fontes' extended family. Protector. One of the head performers. Male. Quite old.
Galatea Fontes- The most youthful! The most elegant of the family! Adored for her superb performances and classy approach, little do they know, that she's famous for... other... things, eheheh... she a ho. [Height: 6.3ft - Build: Lithe - Weight: Light - Has lengthy, curled white hair, white skin and pale blue eyes.]
Tristram Fontes- Eloquent. Emotional. Earnest! Yet, distant. Known for his hardwork, collaborative nature, and tearful performances. Has a fanbase, and offical harem, because of these facts. One of Graem's older siblings. [Height: 5.3ft - Build: Lithe - Weight: Light - Has long, white hair, white skin, and intense (in color) blue eyes. Looks young, for his age.]
Angevin Fontes- Wine Aficionado. She's not an alcoholic, though. Strongwoman. Bro. [Height: Around 7.3 ft - Build: Defined, yet acrobatic. - Weight: Heavy - Has short, black hair, white skin, and dark blue eyes.]

[Height: 7.5 ft - Build: Muscular, yet limber. - Weight: Somewhat Heavy. - Has white hair, white skin and dark blue eyes. Middle-aged.]
Reinwald Fontes- Lawyer. One of the leading family guards. MANLY!! [Height: 7ft - Build: Somewhat muscular, yet lean. - Weight: Heavy - Has pale grey hair, white skin, and blue eyes. Male.]
Craig Fontes- Graem's oldest (half-)sibling. Somewhat ugly, in looks. Family Guard. Dedicated to protecting the family. Has scars. Experienced. [Height: 8.7 ft - Build: Quite Defined - Weight: Really Heavy, Middle-aged. Male. Dark brown eyes, white skin and hair.]
Musicians:
Graem often browses music forums/sites. She prefers to listen to industrial metal songs, and/or instrumentals, that are slow, yet powerful, though she does appreciate fast tracks if she can follow their rhythm.
Vyacheslav- (That's his pen name.) An Atlesian musician who specializes in industrial metal. Talks about stuff that leaves most women, and, some men hot and bothered, though, he can talk about serious topics, too. Graem found his songs by browsing on little-known music forums. She listens to his instrumentals daily. He's also a huntsman.
VEHICLEDescription: Devlin made this for Graem. It's a stylized, gray and black family car, that can carry about 5 people. This is one of the newer, non-combative models.
