Skipping down the sidewalk, Suntalia made her way through the crowds with a smile. Waving at people here and there, whether she knew them or not, she turned the corner and noticed the restaurant ahead. Despite there being plenty of other places to go to, this one in particular held a dear spot in her heart. Slowing down to a walk, she moved at a steady pace so as to not get too hot. The last thing she wanted to do was get sweaty in her attire. Wearing an orange and yellow dress and her hair done into a loose braid with a flower pin over her left ear, she finally got to the entrance of the restaurant.
Smiling broadly, Suntalia opened the door and entered, beaming a dimpled smile at the owners. "Hi Di Di!!!" she exclaimed waving at the server nearby. "Hi Mr. and Mrs. Solar!!" she greeted, waving at the two owners. "Obi had a class experiment with me, Vashie and a first year team and I'm famished now!" Walking over to one of her usual spots, she sat down on the seat and leaned on her elbows as she watched Diamante work. Smiling to herself as she suppressed the sudden urge to make fun of him, she continued to watch and wait, swinging her legs gently underneath her. "Oh! There will be a few others joining me so I'll wait on ordering until they show up!" Glancing over at Diamante mischievously, she smirked slightly. "And Di Di said that he would be happy to take care of my check tonight, seeing that he's a complete and TOTAL gentleman." Laughing lightly, she smiled innocently at Diamante and then went back to waiting while humming softly to herself.

At the head of the caravan Chris DeWitt was nervous. This wasn't the first time that he had run point. This wasn't the first time he'd been involved with smuggling. But tonight was different. This wasn't a normal job. No bribes would get them through gates and no smooth talk would appease the roaming Huntsman they might come across. Their cargo was people. Faunus really... but still people under the horns and stuff.
The night couldn't have been any creepier either. It was cloudy above and misty below. Far too misty for a normal autumn night on the outskirts of Vale. On top of that their "cargo" was a far too loud. Three of the five had woken up... and were yelling, screaming really, to be let out. Didn't they know what they were messing with? Getting sold to some rich bastard out in the boonies was bad and all... but getting gutted by a 'wulf was worse.
DeWitt glanced back. "Z" was leading the wagon. He was in charge. It made sense for him to get the safe spot in the middle. It still made DeWitt's skin crawl to have his bosses eyes on his back all the time. There were four guards to the left, four to the right, and three watching the rear. Fish was out there somewhere, DeWitt couldn't see him or remember where he'd been told to guard but it was a comfort to know that at least someone would know how to handle it if things went wrong. Somewhere out in the mist he heard a howl. Tense but not as green as the boss wanted to think DeWitt gripped his rifle tightly but presses on. So far there was nothing to really worry about. When you left the cities you'd be bound to fight. He'd done it before, everyone here had. 'Cept maybe the Faunus in the cage. But still something seemed off."Hey Z!"
DeWitt called back. "You hear that howl'n?"
Lighting up a cigarette, Ezekiel Bartok blew a ring of smoke out into the night. Nothing like a cool night for some hunting he thought as he heard the howling from afar. "Quit yer complainin' and keep movin' ferward!"
he yelled at Chris who seemed rather fidgety this night. Moving up along the caravan, he came up to the wagon that held the captives. Seeing one of the captives reaching out, crying to be set free, Z moved closer towards him. Hearing the male faunus begging, crying that he would pay them whatever the ransom was so he could be set free, Z took another long puff from his cigarette and blew it out into the faunus' face. Closing his eyes, the faunus let out a cough from the smoke, which was all the time Z needed. Reaching through the bars and grabbing the faunus by the neck, he slammed the faunus' head against the bars, hard, knocking the faunus onto the ground while grabbing his bloody head. "Any of y'all make another peep, and you'll face more pain than that"
he said quietly, glaring dangerously at the other four faunus, which made them all quiet down.
Moving back to his spot in the middle of the caravan, Ezekiel blew another ring of smoke out while resting his freed hand on his weapon. At a glance, his weapon looked to be a simple great mace
. However, what most people didn't know was that it also harbored a 6-shot rocket launcher that could shoot in rapid succession, causing mass destruction to anyone who went up against him. And if that wasn't enough, there was always his semblance, which he almost never had to use. Regardless, Chris' nervousness was unmerited as the chances of them getting ambushed was extremely low at the time of night. "If Chris complains one more time, I swear...I'm goin' ta break a few of his teeth in"
he muttered quietly to himself. With the guards watching each side and Fish somewhere out there scouting the area, there was no chance they would get ambushed without them knowing about it in advance. A few more gigs like this and I'll be able to retire in style
he thought, smiling to himself as the caravan plodded onward.
High above the caravan and above visibility from anyone else, Suntalia held onto the tree she was hiding in. Shivering at the cold breeze that was hitting her from above, she held her position and watched through a looking glass as the caravan made its way towards the forest. Trying hard to not let her teeth chatter from the cold, Suntalia gripped her clothing around her tighter, in hopes that it'll warm her up a bit more. One of the guys should have a warm blanket or cloak on them...I'll just have to hold out until I then
she thought, sniffing a bit from the cold.
Checking Firestorm as well as Dynami and Areti, she made sure that each of them were ready for combat. The mission was simple: wait until Rye gives the word, then subdue the enemy. Rye made it very clear that he didn't want any casualties, which Suntalia agreed with his thinking. She wasn't for the idea of killing other humans, but would if it meant protecting her teammates. Hopefully it wouldn't have to come to that point though.
Pulling her Scroll out briefly, Suntalia fidgeted with it as she sent a message to the rest of her team. The enemy caravan is almost at where you guys are at. Looks like thirteen or so of them. A quick ambush should be enough to catch all of them off guard. Just give me the word, Rye Rye, and I'll attack. Also...one of you owes me a blanket or cloak when I get back. It's freezing up here!
Laughing lightly to herself, she focused her thoughts on the mission again and waited for Rye's signal to attack.

2. Acero Walker
3. Ribeiro Ispecs
4. Kei Tsz Fung
Please post if you're interested.

Alright, after many PMs and discussions, the team has been officially formed so I'm starting a thread for it. Here's the people:
1. Suntalia Lyn Ryker
2. Oni Shoji
3. Rye Oakborn 3rd
4. Diamante Solar
With this, our team is formed, but we now need to figure out who the leader is, what our team name is, and what our team color is. Here's my opinions on all three:
First, I think Rye Oakborn would make the ideal leader for the group, with Diamante as my second choice. I think with Oni's background history as well as Suntalia's flightiness, both of them wouldn't be ideal candidates.
As for Team names, here's the details:
My suggestions would be:
- Soldier (SODR)
- Overlord (OLOD)
- Rosso (ROSS)
As for a color, we could do Army Green (#4b5320)
, Desert Tan (#b1a688)
, or Rust
if we go with Soldier.
If we go with Overlord, then we could do Scarlet (#900D09)
, Mahogany (#C04000)
, or BlueViolet (#8A2BE2)
If we go with Rosso, we can just do Red
as the color.
These are simply my suggestions so please feel free to share any other ideas you come up with. I'm just glad that one of my characters finally has a team again.

The Emerald Forest.
There were many tales to be said here as well as tragedies to be known. The forest held many stories of Grimm being exterminated as well as blood being shed upon the corpses of those who had fallen. It was here, at the entrance to the forest, that Oberon watched and waited. Receiving word that a new team had formed and to do their initiation mission for them, Oberon couldn't help but let out a sigh. How long have I been doing this now, I wonder...
he thought as he looked up at the gloomy morning skies. With autumn passing and winter settling in, the trees had shed most of their leaves and looked like a maze of branches that spread for miles. Looks like it'll snow within the next few days
he pondered as his breath came out like a mist that lasted for only a moment before it was gone.
Taking out his Scroll, he took a look at the list of students that were to go out on today's mission. Conner Dragovic, Rackley Winchester, Sandy Smoke, and Anza Burgundy...hmmmm...
he thought as he looked over their profiles. With each of them receiving around average to above average testing results, there wasn't too much that stood out about them. Two close-range fighters and two long-range fighters. With discipline, this could turn out to be a pretty decent team.
Putting his Scroll away, Oberon pulled out a cigar and lit it. Taking a few puffs from it, he folded his arms as he waited for the students to make their way to their meeting point.

It was a clear, crisp winter morning at Beacon Academy. Here and there, a few students made their way to class through the cold, their coats being the only thing keeping the cold at bay. Making his way through the hustle and bustle, Oberon walked towards the Airship Hangar. Nodding here and there to the students as he passed them, he pulled out his Scroll to look at the time as his fur-lined coat kept him warm. Thirty minutes early...not bad. Would much rather be working in the warm forge right now though he thought with a smile. Putting his Scroll away, he pulled out his canteen and drank some of the warm coffee inside.
Turning the corner, Oberon caught sight of the Hangar and continued his brisk walk to it. Upon reaching it and not seeing any of the students there yet. he made his way to the Airship that was waiting there. Catching sight of the pilot, Oberon nodded slightly and shook the man's hand. "Top of the morning to ya" he said giving it a firm shake. "The others will be here shortly. Once they arrive, we can move out."
As the pilot made his way back into the Airship, Oberon proceeded by taking a cigar out. Cutting the tip off, he lit the cigar and took a few puffs from it. With the cigar lit, he pulled out his Scroll and began to look over the team he would be taking out. "Team Cobalt, huh?" he murmured as he went over each team member. "Camelia Sol, Bianca Li, Theodore Williams and Blanc Valiere" he said quietly. Looking over their combat results as well as their grades and not seeing anything noteworthy or troublesome, he put his Scroll away and leaned against the Airship. Taking a puff from his cigar, he let the smoke warm him up briefly before letting it out. Well, the faster we can get this mission done, the faster we can get back here he thought as he closed his eyes. By his estimation, the mission should take no longer than a day, allowing them to get back to the Academy by late afternoon. Let's just hope nothing crazy happens while we're out he thought, a smile creasing his grizzled face as he opened his eyes and continued to wait for the others to arrive.

The Beacon Arena.
Though there were many different areas, including an indoor and outdoor arena, it was nonetheless a massive building. It was in the outdoor Arena that Oberon found himself spending his morning as he waited for his class to start. Normally he would be in his own classroom teaching a large class of students, but twice a week he would pick a team and have them undergo rigorous training to sharpen their teamwork and strategy building abilities. Looking down at his scroll, he took note that it was Team ASPN that he would be training today. Reviewing their overall grades in his class as well as how they did in their initiation, Oberon smiled as he saw their grades. A well rounded team with decent fighting abilities. This team will go far
he thought to himself as he took a puff from his cigar.
Letting out a cloud of smoke into the air, Oberon looked over the Arena as well as the "items" he would be using in today's class. Overall, the Arena was roughly three hundred feet in diameter with rows upon rows and seats surrounding it.Within the fighting grounds stood four large pillars that stood roughly twenty feet high, each one spaced fifty feet from the center. Besides that, there were two extremely large cargo crates that sat parallel to each other, one on the east side and the other on the west side as well as a few mid-sized boulders and tree trunks dispersed throughout the entire arena.
Finishing up his review of the items in the Arena as well as his assessment of the team that was to show up, Oberon reviewed the curriculum of today's class. With there being two main parts of the drill, Oberon was sure that the chances of the team succeeding both parts was extremely slim. However, today wasn't about succeeding or failing; today was all about working together to accomplish the mission. Even if the mission was not accomplished, their grade would be determined on how well they worked together. Taking another puff from his cigar, Oberon walked over to one of the crates and placed a hand on it. Time to see how strong and sturdy this tree is
he thought with a smile before turning to lean against the crate as he waited for the others to show up.

Sunrise. A time during the day where it was the most serene and quiet. A time where the daily hustle had yet to taint the pure, tranquil moment. It was a moment that Oberon enjoyed most. Taking a sip from his canteen full of coffee, Oberon decided to lean against one of the trees that made up the vast Emerald Forest. It was here that he was assigned to give the mission for yet another first year team that had made its way into the roster of Beacon Academy. Though he did not mind doing these types of things and saw it as part of his duty as a teacher at the Academy, deep down, he yearned to be at home in bed with his wife. Nothing would ever replace the joy he felt with her wrapped up in his arms on a cold morning.
Despite all that, he had his duty and he was going to fulfill it. Pulling out a cigar, Oberon proceeded to review each student that would be going through this mission as he lit his cigar and inhaled deeply from it. Not seeing anything worthwhile or too out of the ordinary, he smiled slightly over the light coming from his cigar. Perhaps this will be a somewhat of an easy task for them today then... he thought. Putting his Scroll away, he opened his canteen and took another sip from it. Looking over towards Vale, he was able to distinctly make out three pink silhouettes where his home was located due to his semblance. More than likely they're still sleeping... he thought, smiling to himself. If all went well today, then he would be able to make it back in time for lunch. His wife always knew how to make a good meal and it was one of the many things he looked forward to each day.
Focusing his mind back on the matter at hand, Oberon took a look at the time and saw that the students should be arriving within the next fifteen minutes. Cracking his neck and knuckles, he proceeded to wait patiently for the others to show up.

It was a brisk morning at Beacon. Here and there, a few students were seen walking around as they enjoyed their weekend off. For some, a weekend meant sleeping in. For others, it was a time to get their studies done or catch up on classwork. However, for others still, a weekend meant working at a part-time job to make a little extra Lien to spend. This, however, was not the case for Oberon. Walking purposefully through the Academy, the burly teacher nodded his head in acknowledgement to a group of third year students who were in his Advanced Crisis Strategy Training class. Now those are a promising group of students... he thought as he made his way down the cliff side towards the entrance of the Emerald Forest. Hopefully this batch of first years will be just as promising he mused, taking a sip from his canteen filled with his morning coffee. A morning like this would've been best spent in bed with his wife or at work in the forge, crafting new weapons or fixing old ones. However, that wouldn't be the case and Oberon had accepted the fact.
Reaching the entrance of the Emerald forest, Oberon pulled out his Scroll to review the team going on their first initiation. He had arrived early just so that he could do just that.
Starting with the appointed leader of the team, Oberon began to look over Conner Dracovic's profile. Normal grading for his academics with a tendency to be unrefined in his fighting styles. Has a rather deadly semblance and all-around variety in range with his weapons. Not bad... he thought, chuckling lightly to himself.
Moving on from Conner, Oberon pulled up Avali Glass's profile. Nothing unique or out of the ordinary. Lived with her uncle until entering the Academy, huh? She might just be yet another student who was orphaned because of the Grimm. Cracking his neck and scratching his chin through his scruffy beard, there was nothing too special aside that most things pointed to her being a long range type of fighter.
From there, he pulled up Fiona Roseheart's profile next. Interesting weapons... he thought with a small smile. Seems to be a speed-based fighter. Aside from that, she scored above average also on her tests, so nothing to out of the ordinary here either.
Last, he moved on to Rackley Winchester's profile. A sniper, huh? Seems like he will be the big gun of the team... he thought, raising an eyebrow at his weapon. ...Though his close combat skills seem to be rather lacking.
Chuckling to himself, Oberon looked at the time before putting his Scroll away. It was about fifteen minutes until the team should be here. Knowing how many first year students are, he knew that most, if not all of them, would be here early so as to set a good example. Regardless of what happens, he had eaten a hearty breakfast prior and had a nice big canteen full of coffee. Lighting a cigar to top it all off, Oberon took a big puff and blew the smoke out into the cold morning air and continued to wait patiently for the others arrival.
« on: October 08, 2016, 09:55:02 PM »
It was a cold, brisk Autumn morning at the entrance to the Emerald Forest. Like any other morning, Oberon started it off with a canteen full of hot coffee in one hand and a lit cigar in his other. Taking a puff from his cigar and enjoying the warmth it provided, he blew the smoke out as he continued to wait. As much as he would've rather wanted to be in bed in the warm embrace of his wife, he knew his duty to Beacon required that he would have to sometimes forgo the warmth of his bed to be out early to train the next generation of Huntsmen and Huntresses. His duty was simple: to teach the students how to work together to achieve their objective and succeed their mission without any loss of lives. Though many teams would go through their four years here at the Academy with no losses, he knew that it wasn't always the case for every team, as his helper with today's mission knew all to clearly.
As if the mere thought of his helper was enough to summon him, Oberon heard the heavy footsteps approach his location. Not surprised he would come early... he thought, a slight smile creasing his bearded face. "So glad you could join us this morning" he said, his gruff voice breaking the morning silence. "Your mission today is simple: you will be sent to observe a newly formed first year team, team REBL. You are simply there to watch and make sure they fulfill their mission on a timely manner and make sure that none of them get killed in the process." Taking another puff, he blew it out into the cold wind. "Alban has informed me of what happened to your team and the crippling effect it has had on you" he continued, his eyes giving the giant of a man a sympathetic look as he activated his semblance. Pinning the man, Oberon watched as the student glowed a light blue color. "I can understand your hesitancy to not want to take on a mission where the lives of others will be placed under your custody again, but I personally chose you for this mission because you are the best suited fourth year for this. Now, do you have any questions?" Taking a sip from his canteen, Oberon waited for an answer.
Walking up towards the entrance of the Emerald Forest, Savas let his heavy footsteps echo through the quiet morning. It had been many months since his last mission, which ended with the death of his childhood friend, Vigdus, and the love of his life, Auburn. Those months had not been easy as his last teammate had decided to leave the Academy due to the trauma, leaving him alone to cope with everything as he went into his final year. If daytime wasn't enough to rack his mind with thoughts of his team, night time continued to wreak havoc on his mind as nightmares filled with watching Auburn devoured before his eyes continued to haunt his dreams. Many would've gone mad or gone into a depression from all this. However, Savas had grown accustomed to this type of things. His hometown of Frouri was renown to creating strong warriors, and where warriors were created, warriors would fall. Thus, Savas did the only thing he was trained to do...and that was to keep moving forward.
Seeing Professor Oberon at the entrance, Savas continued to make his way to the teacher, not hiding his presence from the Huntsman. Upon reaching Oberon, Savas listened to the man explain the mission. Cringing ever so slightly under his heavy lamellar armor set that he wore for today's mission, Savas clenched his teeth as the professor spoke about the death of his comrades. Putting his things down against one of the trees, Savas unharnessed Sandalphon and Metatron and leaned them against the tree. Regaining his composure, he turned to face Oberon. "Ngggrh, no questions here" he rumbled, his deep voice resonating through the trees. Folding his arms, Savas took a seat by the tree and waited for the first year students to arrive. All I can do is protect the younger classes so that they never face what I faced he thought as he let his thoughts stray to Auburn as he began to meditate to calm himself before the others arrived.

36 years old. Born Arashi 27, 43 ACSpecies and Gender:
Team Strategy Teacher for year 1 - 3 at Beacon Academy and part-time BlacksmithAppearance:
Oberon stands at 6'1" and weighs 230lbs with an extremely muscular build due to his work. With brown penetrating eyes and brown shoulder-length hair pulled back in a ponytail, he has a menacing look that is topped off with a gruff beard covering the entire bottom half of his face. His symbol is tattooed on his right shoulder and his wife's name, Aria, is tattooed on his left arm.
His casual outfit consists of a white or black wife beater, a dark brown duster coat, black cargo pants held up by a brown belt and tucked into black boots. A gold necklace with a circular pendant and an anchor in it hangs on his neck as a memento of his wife as it was given to him on their one year anniversary.
While on campus he can be spotted wearing a dark brown padded armor covering his torso, a black belt tying the armor against his body, and black cargo pants tucked into black boots. His weapons will also be wrapped around his arms, forming metal bracers.
When out on a mission, he will exchange the padded armor for a full suit of black studded leather armor, which covers his entire body. Underneath, he will wear a black chain mail shirt and coif to give extra protection.History:
Oberon was born in a small village in the kingdom of Atlas to Axel and Cristela Falcov towards the end of the Faunus Civil War. Though both of his parents were human, they were both faunus sympathizers and secretly helped the Faunus during the war. With Axel being a Blacksmith and Cristela running the family general store, they sold their merchandise to the Faunus at a huge discount, but did their best to keep it on the down-low so that those who hated the Faunus didn't hear about it. This went on from the beginning of the war until the end, with Oberon being born right before it ended.
Growing up, Oberon spend most of his childhood playing inside his family's store under the watchful eyes of his mother. However, as he got older, he would oftentimes go outside to watch his father work their small forge with fascination. This continued through until he was nine years old, when his world was turned upside down.
The day started off like any other day: upon finishing breakfast, his father went outside to get the forge started while his mother began to get the store ready to be opened. While they were doing this, Oberon began to clean the table and put the dishes into the sink. It was then that he began to hear shouting coming from outside. Curious, he went to the door to see what was going on outside, but was stopped in his tracks by his mother, who told him to stay inside as she went outside to see what was happening. Not liking to be left out and his curiosity getting the best of him, Oberon ran upstairs and opened the window to see what was happening. Looking down, he immediately saw a group of the townspeople all outside the house holding large rocks and torches. Here and there, a few people held brandished swords, pointing it at his parents while yelling obscenities at them. Though there were many people yelling at his parents, Oberon could hear one phrase very clearly:"FAUNUS LOVER!!"
Looking at his father, Oberon saw that his father held no weapon, though he had dozens of them made. Instead, he held a pair of shields, using one to defend himself and the other to defend his wife. As the crowd continued to yell at his parents, the violence escalated quickly as the began to throw the rocks at his parents. Though he was able to block most of the rocks, a few of them hit their mark, which Oberon vaguely heard the grunts from his father as he used his body to shield his wife. As if luck was smiling on them that day, a squad of police officers, led by the mayor of the small village who was a retired Huntsman, broke through and formed a wall around Oberon's parents. After a heated argument between the townspeople and the mayor, the angry mob was disbanded and sent away.
Helping his parents inside, the Mayor sat down in the living room. Coming downstairs, Oberon saw his mother help bandage up his father, who had sustained a few minor cuts as well as a few large bruises from the barrage. It was then that he heard what the Mayor was proposing. "It's not safe here for you here. The people found out that you both helped the Faunus and they won't stop until you're both dead. Best you leave here and start over in a different kingdom."
After hearing what the Mayor said and looking at each other, his parents agreed. Gathering what they could that day, Oberon and his family left their home that night under the watchful care of a dozen police officers who helped escort the family out.
Traveling from the town, Oberon and his parents made their way to Atlas, where they bought airship tickets to go to Vale. Upon reaching Vale, his parents started the life over again by each finding a job. Not able to stay home during this time, Oberon was sent to a public school for children, where he began his education until he turned thirteen. Finishing there, he enrolled to Signal Academy to pursue the life of a Huntsman. It was at that time that his father took him aside to give him a word of advice that he would never forget: "Find something worth protecting and nothing will be able to stop you."
With those words in mind, Oberon graduated from Signal with exceptionally high scores. It was during this time also that he created his weapons: two shields in honor of both his father's words and actions that was displayed throughout his life. From Signal, Oberon was accepted into Beacon where he continued to train and grow in strength and abilities. Being the team leader of Team Octavia, Oberon began to study even harder in battle tactics and strategies so as to protect and lead his team well. It was during this time that a rivalry grew between him and one of his teammates, Aria Ta'ala. Though harmless at first, the rivalry grew between the two of them as each of them tried to do better than the other. The tension between the two of them escalated until their fourth year at Beacon when they were sent on a Search and Destroy mission to take down a flock of Nevermore that were rampaging through an area east of Vale and were getting close to destroying a small village. It was during this mission that Aria was knocked unconscious and surrounded by half a dozen of the flock, which proceeded to bombard her with a barrage of feathers. With all thoughts of his own safety gone, Oberon dived into action and, with his shields, used them to protect both him and Aria from the deadly attack. It was at that moment that his thoughts went straight to what his father had said years ago: "Find something worth protecting and nothing will be able to stop you."
It was in that moment that he realized that it was Aria that he wanted to protect. She was the one that he wanted to protect with his life. Carrying Aria out of harms way, his other two teammates gave cover fire as he reached safety. From there, they were able to finish off the rest of the flock and finish their mission.
Shortly after the mission, Oberon couldn't stop thinking about Aria. It wasn't until four months later that Oberon mustered up every ounce of courage and conveyed his feelings to Aria in which, to his surprise, found that the feelings were mutual. Finishing up at Beacon, Oberon and Aria were married two years later and settled down in Vale by taking over his father's blacksmith shop as Axel asked if Oberon would be willing to help work the forge. After six years of being a blacksmith and going out on the occasional Huntsman job with Aria, Oberon was approached by the Headmaster at Beacon to see if he would like to take a job as the Team Strategy Teacher at Beacon. With the forge doing well and his wife pregnant with their firstborn daughter, Oberon gladly accepted the job at the age of thirty. Six years and two children later, Oberon has continued to teach first and second year students the fundamentals of teamwork while cherishing the time he gets to spend with both his daughter and son. The one lesson he always teaches each team he works with is the one he was taught long ago: "Find something worth protecting and nothing will be able to stop you." Personality:
If there were two words to describe Oberon, it would be 'Loyal' and 'Protective'. Protective of his loved ones and loyal to Alban and Beacon, Oberon can sometimes been seen as standoffish towards those he doesn't know. However, to those who do know him, he is very warm and caring. He particularly takes great care in training up the next generation of Huntsmen and Huntresses as they are the future protectors of the realm.
When he is not teaching students or working his father's forge, Oberon can be seen spending his time with his family or reading new battle tactics and strategies. Among his peers, he is often called 'The Man With A Plan' as he is always thinking a few steps ahead of people. Aside from battle tactics and strategies, Oberon is a fairly intellectual man and is always up to learning something new if it means it can be used to protect those he cares the most about.Aura and Semblance:"Pin-Location"
Oberon's aura is a dark brown color. When he activates his semblance, he is able to 'pin' a person or creature and make it so that he can track them from afar. Long story short, he is able to place a kind of tracking device on a person in which he is able to know where they are.
In order for his ability to go into effect, Oberon must first be within 100 feet of the person or creature that he wants to track. From there, he must be able to see and stay focused on the person or creature for two seconds to 'pin' them. Once he has pinned someone, he is able to track that person up to ten miles from his location or up to five hours, as that is when the effect wears off. Even if a person should get out of his sight, he is still able to sense a general direction of the person should they be within the five mile radius and if he concentrates on them. A person or creature who has been pinned by him appear to be glowing in his sight with different colors, depending on his emotions towards that person:
- White: Neutral
- Red: Anger/Hatred
- Orange: Amusement/Happiness
- Green: Jealousy
- Blue: Sadness
- Pink: Love
Once a person has been pinned by him, the only way to break his semblance would be to get out of range of it or for Oberon to deactivate it on that person. He is currently able to 'pin' up to twenty people or creatures, but usually only keeps it to around ten people at most due to the amount of confusion it would cause him if he pinned too many people. Combat Behavior:
Due to his work in the forge, Oberon is exceptionally strong with enough stamina to go for hours on end. In regards to agility, he is above average and able to keep up with most humans as well as some faunus. All that said, he is primarily a support/reinforcement fighter, going in to help whoever is in need of assistance. All of his training and studies have made him to be an expert strategist and tactician so he would mostly be the one who stands in the back and sends his comrades in and will support them either with his strategies or with his battle prowess should the fighting go awry.
His primary defense is in his weapons as his armor is on the lighter side to grant him better mobility. Due to the lighter armor, he is more susceptible to damage from heavier attacks. He is a close - midrange fighter, lacking the power to fight long range. This also means that he is at a disadvantage when going up against a long ranger fighter. WEAPONName:Hamia
(Protector in Arabic) and Contego
(Defend in Latin)Primary Form:
Both Hamia and Contego are shields worn, one on each arm. Each shield has two tips from which Oberon uses to slash and stab with. On the inside of each shield is an attached automatic assault rifle, the handle being where he holds each shield and is where the trigger of the guns are located. Each gun has a forty round clip that uses 7.62x39mm ammunition that shoot at a velocity of 2,200 f/s and has an accurate range of 50 yardsSecondary Form:
By pressing a small button with his pinky fingers, both Hamia and Contego are able to compact and break down into smaller metal plates. Each plate then rotates slightly until the whole shield folds around his forearms, turning into bracers. Dust Functions:
Not wanting to make a complex weapon, Hamia and Contego were both made while Oberon was attending Signal as a reminder of the night his father protected his mother from the angry mob. Through his years at Beacon, he refined it and added it's secondary form. However, it wasn't until after he graduated and began working in his father's forge that he broke the whole weapon down and re-forged it. Using a mixture of high-quality steel and titanium, he folded the metal over a dozen times, removing any iniquities in the metal and strengthening it to withstand a heavy attack. Upon finishing them, he plated them with chromium to keep it from corroding or rusting and then had his symbol painted onto it.

First Year Beacon StudentAppearance:
(Duo Maxwell from Gundam Wing)
Rackley is 5'9" and 140Ibs with a slim build. He has brown hair and dark purple/blue eyes with a clean cut facial appearance. His hair comes down to about his waist, which he braids. He wears a dark blue work jacket with white cuff-links that he rolls up, dark blue pants and dark brown boots. He wears both his katana and his tonfa on his right hip.History:
Rackley is the child of a retired huntsman and huntress. As a child, he grew up hearing the many exploits that his father, an expert marksman with a sniper rifle, and mother, a katana and dust magic user, had made when they were still working in the city of Vale. After they retired, his family moved to a small farming home right on the outer most part of the city of Vale, where they made their living off the land or by helping those in need of a huntsman. Rackley received his first "rifle", a small pellet gun, when he was seven years old and would often spend his days outside shooting at different targets that his father made, though still within sight of his mother's ever protective care. Rackley began training with his father at the age of nine where he learned the fundamentals of shooting with a rifle: from velocity, to distance, to wind and gravity pull, Rackley learned how to take into account all of that when making a shot. When he was not outside shooting targets or learning how to be a huntsman by his father, Rackley would be inside reading a book from his parents’ collection of books. At the age of eleven he was given his first real gun, a modified Barrett M90, and killed his first Grimm at the age of twelve, with the help of his father. At the age of thirteen he was enrolled by his parents to go to Signal Academy. Due to his training and education from his father and mother, Rackley was able to do well in his classes and got fairly above average scores. While at Signal, Rackley received even further training and there, made the weapons he uses now. After graduating Signal Academy at the age of seventeen, Rackley immediately went and applied for Beacon, which he was accepted.Personality:
Rackley has a "go with the flow" kind of attitude and does not like confrontation with other people unless it is absolutely necessary. He is the type that would rather spend a day in a tree reading or listening to music, than be in a gym. He does, however, love to go on jogs to build up his stamina and likes to go sight-seeing.
Growing up on the outskirts of the city, Rackley isn't accustomed to being around large groups of people so he tends to be more on the reserved/quiet side and is very self-conscious whenever he has to talk to a person or group of people. He will often have withdrawals when around a lot of people for a long period of time and will need to get away from them for a time to "recuperate". This aspect makes it hard for him to make friends, but that doesn't mean he won't at least try to be friends with people, though his efforts are usually seen as weird and awkward.
Intellectually, Rackley is fairly above average compared to others. He’s not too fond of studying, but will do it simply so he can pass the class. He loves to read and will learn better from reading a book than from hearing a lecture. He is fairly knowledgeable when it comes to combat tactics, but only when it comes to scouting or reconnaissance.Semblance: Power Shot
When Rackley is scoped in on a target, he is able to wrap his aura around the bullet, augmenting the velocity of his shot the longer he stays scoped on the target. As the speed of the bullet increases, it causes the damage caused by the impact to increase as well, at most being able to double the damage dealt. Each shot, regardless of how long he stays scoped in, takes 10% of his aura, making it so that he can only use the ability 10 times a day. The damage ratio goes as followed:
1 second: speed increases by 20%. Damage increases by 40%
2 seconds: speed increases by 40%. Damage increases by 80%
3 seconds: speed increases by 60%. Damage increases by 120%
4 seconds: speed increases by 80%. Damage increases by 160%
5 seconds: speed increases by 100%. Damage increases by 200%
When Rackley activates his semblance, his aura glows a dark blue around the gun he is using. Combat Behavior:
Rackley is an expert marksman, being able to make shots that would be considered difficult for others to make. Frequent trips outside the city walls has also taught Rackley to move quickly and quietly through different environments, making him an expert scout or reconnaissance teammate. During a fight, Rackley is at his best by staying a good distance away from the actual battle and provide support. He will go for the kill quickly so as to avoid a prolonged battle.
However, what Rackley has in stealth and speed, he lacks in strength. Though taught how to fight melee, Rackley is only a mediocre melee fighter and doesn't like fighting in close combat unless he has no other choice. Due to his lack of strength, he can be easily overpowered or pushed around if attacked at close range. He wears very light armor to move faster around, but makes him more susceptible to damage and will go down if he takes too many direct hits.WEAPONName:
Washi (Tonfa), Taka (Katana), and Aoshi (Rifle)Note:
Both weapons have been mechanically made while Rackley attended Signal Academy. Therefore, though they may resemble a tonfa and katana, they're both made of machinery. (Just think of how Ruby's Scythe looks and operates when imagining this)Primary Form: Aoshi:
The two weapons can be connected. To do so, Rackley turns Taka so that the sharp side of the blade is facing 3:00 and puts it against the top end of Washi, which triggers a small push plate on the bottom of Taka. He then turns Taka 90 degrees clock-wise, which causes the end of Taka to fold over and connect to Washi, forming a pole-arm. Rackley then pushes a button located on the corner of the grip on Washi, which causes the grip to fold in, extend and expand, forming the scope, trigger, stock and butt plate with the lower end of the tonfa. The top part of the tonfa expands slightly and has a slot open in it, where the clip goes. The pommel of Taka folds over Washi and forms the bolt-action. It also expands with the hilt to cover most of the blade to form the barrel and muzzle. The tip of the sword breaks off of the rest of the blade to form a bayonet which connects to the end of the muzzle. In the end, the two weapons combine to form a high powered sniper rifle that shoots .50 BMG dust rounds.
For detail on the type of bullet
The rifle is a bolt-action rifle with a 5 shot clip, which takes approximately 4 seconds for Rackley to bolt back upon firing. Putting in a new clip and bolting back takes approximately 6 - 8 seconds, depending on the circumstance. Pushing the same first button again, which is now located right behind where the clip goes and before the trigger, turns Washi and Taka back to a pole-arm and pushing it twice quickly causes the two weapons to disengage each other and go back to their original forms.Secondary Form:
When Washi and Taka are connected, Rackley can choose not to push the trigger, allowing the two weapons to be used as a naginata for closer combat.Third Form:
Rackley can choose to keep Washi and Taka apart, allowing him to use one in each hand. With the trigger and half barrel on Washi, a small clip of 10 bullets is able to be inserted into the grip of Washi, making it so that Rackley is able to shoot smaller 9mm dust bullets out of itTertiary Form:
When storing them, Rackley has both Washi and Taka sheathe on his right hip.Dust Functions:
Rackley uses two special types of dust bullets with Aoshi aside from his normal bullets:
- Explosive Rounds: A combination of fire and earth dust, these bullets cause a fairly large explosion (around 5 feet in diameter). Rackley will usually carry around three - five cartridges of these, depending on the mission.
- FMJ Rounds: A combination of Kinetic and Earth dust, these bullets are used to pierce through hard objects or hard to kill Grimms. Rackley will usually carry around three – five cartridges of these, depending on the mission.History:
Since it was required of all Signal Academy students to make their own weapon, Rackley decided to make a combination of both his parent's weapons as his own.

Jett Davenport (J.D. for short)Age:
19 years old. Born Niege 16, 60 ACGender:
Two battle axes forming an X symbol.Occupation:
Second year student at BeaconAppearance:
Jett stands at 6' 3" and weighs 220Ibs with a muscular build. He has blue eyes, a darker skin complexion, and always has a small grin on his face. He has brown hair that comes barely to his shoulders, which he will usually tie back when out in public.
When he's not wearing the school uniform, his normal clothing attire would usually be a loose fit black or brown t-shirt, baggy brown long pants tucked into a pair of black work boots.
For battle attire, he wears a full set of studded leather armor for protection, which includes armor, bracers, gloves, helm, and boots, which gives him decent protection, but still allows him to be able to move around quickly.History:
Jett grew up in Mistral, where his parents happily ran a lumber business. Though, they weren't rich, his father always made enough to put food on the table and his family always counted their blessings. Growing up in the safety of Mistral, Jett had a simple life as a child: whether it was playing in the creek nearby their house or collecting bugs, Jett had a happy childhood. Once Jett was 7 years old and able to hold an axe in his hands, he started to go with his father to work and help with the smaller tasks like break the smaller branches off trees, while his mother stayed home with his three younger sisters and younger brother. When he wasn't out working with his father, Jett would be at home getting his education by his mother, though he was never good at learning things like Math, English, or Science and would often try to get out of doing his homework by sneaking out of the house to go and work on different wood carvings that he would give to his siblings. This continued on until he was 11 years old. It was then that his father sat him down and told him that, as the oldest, he needed to be a good role model to his younger siblings in everything, including his studies. Not wanting to let his father down, Jett decided to take his studies more seriously, though he struggled for the next 2 years as he was almost a year behind in his education. However, he persevered in his studies and did his best to make his parents proud and also to be a good role model to his younger siblings. Being the oldest of five, he looked up to his father and wanted to be just like him, a lumberjack, when he grew up. However, his parents had something else in mind for his future and, when he was 13 years old and fully caught up on his studies, he found out that his parents had saved up as much money as they could so they could send him to Sanctum to become a Huntsman and have a better life. Though he didn't want to at first, Jett obeyed his parents and studied hard at school. It was there that he learned how to fight as well as craft the weapons he uses today. After graduating from Sanctum with above average grades, he decided to apply for Beacon, with his parents encouragement of course, which he was accepted, though barely.
Jett's first year at Beacon was rough and uneventful for the most part. When he wasn't busy trying to not fail any of his classes, he would spend more of his time interacting with his teammates or carving little wood totems that he would send back home to his little siblings. With his grades holding at academics holding at around average and his combat skills rather exceptional, Jett finished his first year and looks forward to what his second year holds for him.Personality:
Jett is a happy go lucky kind of guy. He always looks for the good in things and always tries to make people smile. He loves being around people and flourishes when hanging out with friends. If he's by himself he will oftentimes whistle a tune and do some wood carving with his knife or see if anybody wants to hang out with him. However, as much as he always tries to make those around him happy, he has a tendency to be taken advantage of by some people as they know they can get away with making him do things for them.
Being the oldest of five, he is overly protective of those he cares about and will do whatever it takes to make them happy and keep them out of harms way. Having all younger siblings has also taught him how to be responsible and is a natural born leader.
Intellectually, Jett is not the brightest person in terms of education and needs to study more than the average person just to get decent grades. However, he does enjoy learning combat strategies and tries to put them into practice whenever in combat. Semblance: Shadow Armor
Jett is able to draw in the shadows around him, which encases his whole body to form a black armor around him. His appearance takes on the look of a black shadow with his eyes and mouth glowing white, making him look like a shadow demon. The range of what he is able to draw in is only what his physical body as well as his own shadow is touching and costs 10% of his aura when using. Once activated, the shadow armor will stay active for up to 10 minutes or until either he deactivates his semblance or the armor is destroyed off of him to which, if the armor is destroyed off of him then he won't be able to activate it again for another 2 minutes. The strength of the armor depends on the situation he uses it:Broad daylight:
If he is in direct sunlight, the only shadow he is able to draw in is his own shadow. When he draws in his shadow, his shadow disappears and will reappear once he deactivates his semblance. This form is fairly weak and can only deflect a small blade like a knife or attacks from small Grimms. Heavier attacks done with a larger weapon or bullets will still penetrate through the armor and begin to break it off, but will have 25% of the damage reduced by the armor. Dust attacks will still have full effect against him and deal 100% of its damage to himDaytime, but with another shadow:
If he is able to come within contact of the shadow of another thing, he is able to draw both his own shadow and the shadow of whatever he is touching in (both shadows disappear and will reappear once deactivated). The other shadow he pulls in must be at least as big as his own shadow or else it will still be only as strong as when he's in direct sunlight. If the shadow is as big or bigger, then it will allow his armor to be able to deflect one handed weapons, such as swords, axes, bows, or handguns as well as attacks from average size Grimms (Ursa Minors, Beowolves, etc). Larger two handed weapons or guns (shotguns, rifles, etc) will still affect him as well as larger Grimms (Nevermores, King Taijitus, etc), but he only takes 50% of the damage, which it would take about two good hits in one area to begin breaking the armor off. Dust damage will have less of an effect on him and will only deal 75% of the damage to him.Night time or complete darkness:
His strongest form, which allows him to be able to deflect most melee attacks from smaller weapons. High powered snipers, rocket launchers, or mauls can still affect him, but the damage is reduced by 75%. His armor is able to deflect a blade or hammer, but it doesn't stop the force of the attack, making him still feel the trauma from the attack to the point that he can still get bruised, bludgeoned, or even knocked out if hit hard enough. Dust damage will have even less of an effect on him in this form, only dealing 50% of the damage to him. In this form, he can take a lot more hits and would have to take around 4 - 5 strong hits in one area to begin to break the armor off of him.
Though the armor is strong, he is still susceptible to falling damage and will take full damage from that. Also, though the armor can deflect damage, it doesn't deflect the force of the attack: so, if he were to get hit by a larger Grimm, though the damage may not cut him open or affect him so much, he can still get bruised or bludgeoned by the attacks. As he continues to take damage to his armor, it will slowly start to crack and, if sustained enough damage in one area, it will break off, leaving that area vulnerable.
Lastly, though the darkness gives his armor strength, it is also his greatest weakness as his armor can be weakened by any form of light. Whether it be from a campfire, the gunfire from a bullet, or a blinding bright light (from a flash grenade for example) his armor would be susceptible to being broken apart from the light depending on the brightness of the light. Combat Behavior:
Due to years of working in the lumber business and chopping trees, Jett has an extremely fit body, making him extremely strong and above average in speed. He also has a lot of stamina and endurance from working long days, which were usually from sunrise to sunset. In combat, he has learned to fight exceptionally well in hand-to-hand combat and also learned how to wrestle so that he can bring foes down to the ground, which is where his specialty lies.
However, what he excels in close range, he has absolutely no long range, which makes him useless when fighting against a long ranged enemy. He also doesn't deal too much with dust so he doesn't know a whole lot on its uses and would do rather horrible against a dust-based user. Lastly, he doesn't have too much experience fighting different kinds of Grimm as he's only seen them in books or in his classes in Sanctum. WEAPONName:
Scath (Shadow in Irish) and Svart (Black in Swedish)
Just imagine the handles being curved and made of metal
Scath and Svart are both one-handed battle axes that Jett dual wields with. Each axe weighs roughly 9Ibs. The handles of the axes are both high alloy metals that are not cylinder in shape, but rather form a kind of 'U' shape with the flat side of the 'U' being on the outer side from the axe head. It also has a curve end that curves outward. If one was to look at the handle, it would look to be one half of a shotgun.Secondary Form
See Semurhat below.Tertiary Form:
When storing Scath and Svart away, Jett has a loop on his left side and one on his right side where he slides them down so that they rest comfortably on each side of his waist, with the axe heads on his waist side and the handles going down his legs.Dust Functions:
Semurhat ('It Murders' in Finnish)Primary Form:
By placing both flat ends of the 'U' shaped handle together, Jett turns the two curved ends of each axe handle 90 degrees so that they're connected, which causes the two axes to combine together, forming one massive great axe with the handle transforming into an AA-12 shotgun. The shotgun uses a drum magazine that holds up to forty, 12-gauge, explosive shotgun shells. The gun shoots at 250 rounds per minute, a muzzle velocity of 1,100 ft/s, and has an effective range of 325 feet. Tertiary Form:
When transforming back, Jett needs to first take the drum magazine out. From there, he pushes a button on the butt end of the gun, which causes the two ends to de-attach themselves, allowing the great axe to once again become two battle axes.Dust Functions:
Though he didn't use dust at first, he began to use dust shells when he began to go to school at Beacon. He currently uses explosive rounds, which is a combination of fire and kinetic dust. Due to the expense of buying these kinds of bullets, Jett only carries one drum magazine with these types of rounds. He also carries two other drum magazine that hold regular 12-gauge shotgun shells in them.History:
Jett created this weapon while at Sanctum as he is used to using axes. He also likes shotguns and wanted to integrate it into the design.

Suntalia Lyn Ryker (Will often go by Talia for short)Age:
20 years old. Born Arashi 5th, 59 ACGender and Species:
Two lightning bolts forming a 'V'Occupation:
Third Year Student at BeaconAppearance:
Suntalia stands at 4'11", weighs 98Ibs and has a slim build. She has orange hair that comes down to her waist, which she wears in a ponytail. Her entire appearance is accentuated by her green, slightly tilted eyes that gives her an appearance of innocence. Despite her slender body, she is very athletic and has an extremely fast metabolism, making her have a huge appetite.
Casual wear: Though she grew up in a simple house, Suntalia took a love to vibrant dresses after reading about them in a book. She can often be seen wearing flowing dresses in different shades of red, orange or yellow to help emphasize her hair color.
Combat wear: As seen in the above picture, she wears slightly baggier clothing to help give her freedom of movement. Around her waist she wears a belt that holds the holsters to her weapons. Despite having a look of an unarmored fighter, she wears a light chain mail armor underneath her clothing to help give her some protection as well as has earth dust woven into her clothing. The earth dust that is woven into her clothing strengthens her clothes so that, though they appear and feel like regular clothing, it is as strong as reinforced hide armor (strong enough to stop a knife attack, partially dampen the damage from a sword or bludgeon, and be ineffective against bullets). The earth dust lasts approximately 30 days, but will slowly weaken, starting at day 25 until day 30 and then she will have to reweave the dust back into the clothing, which takes approximately 2 - 3 days to finish.History:
Suntalia was born in Vacuo to her father, Fovea Ryker, who is a ex-monk who was ejected from the Order of Inipsis and her mother, Idalia Ryker, who is a dust scientist and has one older brother, Danube. Due to her father being in a monk order that believed in simplicity in general, the house they lived in was furnished with only the bare necessities, except their mothers in-home laboratory that contained the most up to date machinery. Growing up, Suntalia spent most of her childhood playing outside with her older brother and being doted over by her father and mother. However, at the age of nine, she began spending most of her time alone as her brother had begun his training to become a warrior monk by their father. At first, she didn't mind this as it allowed her time to explore around their house, but after the first week, she immediately became bored and started looking for something to do. With her brother and father occupied for most of the day, Suntalia ended up spending much of her time watching her mother work on her dust experiments. This caused Suntalia to have an in-depth knowledge of dust and dust mixture as well as learn how to dust weave into clothing. Watching her mother work gave Suntalia a desire to learn more and so she spent the next 3 years or so reading and watching her mother, who took pride in the fact that her daughter wanted to follow after her.
However, at the age of 13, her father insisted on sending Suntalia to combat school, much to her mother's disdain. While at combat school, she was trained to fight, which she excelled at due to her agility. She also became fascinated with learning battle tactics and began reading dozens of books to grow in knowledge. It was during this time that she created her first weapon, Firestorm, which immediately grew to be her favorite. At the end of combat school, she graduated with superb grades, both academically as well as combat skills, which made both of her parents proud. She immediately requested to continue her schooling and prepared herself to go to the Academy in Vacuo to become a Huntress. However, her time there in Vacuo was cut short when her father grew sick of being in Vacuo and decided to relocate his family to Vale. Sad to leave her huge posse of friends behind, she was also excited to go to a new city and make new friends. Suntalia immediately registered to go to Beacon, which she got accepted easily due to her high grades and phenomenal fighting abilities.
Upon entering Beacon, she was placed on her team, which had a shaky start due to the unusual personalities of the other teammates as well as the more than unusual behavior and tactics of the leader. Not to mention the fact that one of her teammates got all of them caught in the middle of the crossfires of a gang war, which Suntalia still brings up jokingly from time to time. However, after living with each other and learning about each others quirks and battle tactics, Suntalia was able to understand her teammates better as well as have them understand her better. It was during their first two years that they began to create combat tactics as well as strategies to face whatever enemies came their way. Now, with their third year beginning, Suntalia prepares herself for what may be her craziest year at Beacon yet.Personality:
Suntalia is a free spirit type of girl. She is EXTREMELY talkative and bubbly, giving her the appearance of someone who is ditzy. This has always been a good, as she can make many friends, but also a bad thing as some people find it annoying. Overall, she is very friendly and will always try to make friends with anyone and everyone, though encounters with her oftentimes can be shocking, literally, as she has a bad tendency to be statically charged due to her semblance. However, she does have her serious side, which is mostly only seen by her brother, but the occasions are rare and few.
Academically, she is extremely smart, though she doesn't look the part or even act it. Her knowledge of dust that she was given from her mother allows her to be able to create new and crazy dust combinations as well as the ability to dust weave clothing for those near and dear to her. If she's not with anyone, she can be found reading under a tree...or in a tree. She will most often be reading a book to learn more about dust or fighting tactics.
In combat, she will oftentimes find it fun and will laugh and smile often during the fight. However behind the happy demeanor, she is a combat tactician whiz and is always making strategies for the fights that she's in. Also, if any of her comrades happen to become endangered, all amusement will leave her and she will do everything within her powers to protect her comrades. Aura and Semblance:
Suntalia's aura color is OrangeLightning Spear
Suntalia has the ability separate the positive and negative energy in the area around her, allowing her to create or redirect lightning. This semblance has two abilities:
1. The first ability is used when Suntalia pulls in the positive charges in the air and ground around her into herself, causing an imbalance between the positive energy and negative energy, or an electric field. After a short while of separating the two energies, it causes the negative energy to get pulled into her in the form of electricity, which she then combines with the positive energy and releases the energies in the form of a lightning bolt.
- In order for her to use this ability, she needs to concentrate for roughly four seconds for each lightning bolt.
- Each usage uses up 4% of her aura.
- Each bolt of lightning can be shot up to 300 feet before it dissipates, though the accuracy of the bolts become less the farther away she shoots them.
2. The second ability is similar to the first, but is used during cloudy weather. As she pulls in the positive energy around her, it causes the negative energy in the clouds to take the form of lightning and is shot down from the sky at her. She uses her final form of her weapon as a lightning rod and directs the lightning into one end of her spear and aims and shoots it out from the other end.
- This ability is quicker than the first one, only needing her to concentrate for roughly two seconds to use
- This ability is only usable when there are clouds in the sky that she can have access to.
- She is unable to use this ability indoors as the lightning wouldn't be able to reach her.
- This ability also uses up 4% of her aura with each use.
- Each bolt of lightning can be shot up to 300 feet before it dissipates, though the accuracy of the bolts become less the farther away she shoots them .
Suntalia uses her weapon to redirect the lightning. She uses lightning dust in her spear to aid in her semblance use, which makes it so that the lightning is drawn to her more easily. She is able to do this without her weapons, but has to be careful not to let it pass through her heart, lest it have the chance to kill her. Her aura protects her heart if she does use it that way, but when her aura drops below 30% it no longer protects her heart, which puts her at risk of killing herself.
Currently, she can use her semblance up to five times non-stop before she has take a break of about two minutes before using it again. This is due to the small amount of electricity that runs through her body, which causes her heart to beat faster. If she uses it more than five times non-stop, she begins to have heart palpitations, shortness of breath, dizziness, and chest pains and will need to rest for half an hour before she feels well enough to fight again.
The semblance idea came from lightning bending in the Avatar (yes...I'm basically making a lightning bender). This video surprisingly describes what Suntalia's semblance does better than I ever could: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9i9aGpVi9h8
Suntalia is extremely fast and agile. Her small physique and athleticism allows her to dodge and strike quickly in combat. She is primarily an expert close combat fighter, though she does have a decent amount of range to fight in longer distance. When fighting unarmed, she is an expert hand-to-hand combat fighter and will oftentimes use her speed and flexibility to take down bigger opponents.
However, what she has in speed, she lacks in strength and only has slightly average strength for someone of her size. She is what one would consider to be a “Glass Cannon” as she can deal insane amounts of damage, but can not take a lot of hits in return. She compensates this by wearing a chain shirt as well as dust infused clothing that has earth dust in it to increase her defense. Lastly, though she is an expert short ranged fighter, she doesn't do very well against long range characters. WEAPONName:FirestormPrimary Form:
Firestorm's primary form is a double bladed spear, 7 feet in length. it has a hardened wooden exterior, but a fully metal middle going from one spearhead to the other. Each spearhead utilizes a different type of dust crystal, which is inserted by a push of a button on the spear haft that opens a small area in the haft, which she inserts the crystal. Secondary Form:
Suntalia twists the centerpiece of Firestorm clockwise, which causes the weapon to break in half, forming two 3 1/2 foot long spears. The centerpiece changes form and becomes a metal chain, 4 feet in length, which connects the two spears together.
This is Firestorm's final form and it's most dangerous form as Suntalia made it specifically to be used with her semblance. Her most powerful attack is also done in this form as she combines the fire dust within the spearhead with her lightning bolt, creating an extremely devastating fire-lightning attack, which is what gave her the idea to call her weapon 'Firestorm'.Tertiary Form:
Firestorm's storage form is done when Suntalia spins the centerpiece counter-clockwise, which causes the spear to retract inwardly so that it becomes only 2 1/2 feet in length, which she then harnesses to her back. To get it back to original size, she only needs to turn the centerpiece clockwise.Dust Functions:
Firestorm uses a fire crystal in one spear and a lightning crystal in the other. The crystals are inserted at the bottom of each spear. There is a button that is near where Suntalia holds the weapon that activates/deactivates the crystals. Upon pressing the buttons, the spear heads are activated, one with lightning and the other will shoot a jet of fire out about five feet. The lightning crystal's primary use is to act as an aid in using her semblance, though it does do lightning damage to whatever it touches. Each crystal lasts about four minutes before the dust is depleted and a new crystal needs to be put in. Suntalia carries six of each crystal type in a pouch on her side. History:
Suntalia had Firestorm created while attending the Academy in Vacuo. She created it to work with her semblance as well as her speed. She gave it the name Firestorm upon creating it and realizing how devastating the final attack was.
Dýnami̱ and Aretí̱ Primary Form:
A pair of magnum pistols. Each pistol uses highly refined dust bullets that Suntalia created, with the help of her mother.Tertiary Form:
Suntalia has two holsters on the back of her belt, which she carries Dynami and Areti in. She carries three clips for each gun on the sides of her belt and will usually carry more if she has a backpack with her.Dust Functions:
Suntalia uses hand-made dust bullets as her primary bullets. The effects of the bullets are as followed:Dynami
: Dynami fires a mixture of Air, Kinetic, and Earth dust rounds. These bullets fire at an extremely fast speed (roughly 1,800 fps). Upon impact, the bullet causes a knock back on the target that is hit due to both the kinetic and earth dust. These bullets do not cause a lot of damage, but are mainly used to knock the enemy back and keep them at bay. Dynami holds 8 bullets per cartridge.Areti
: Areti fires a mixture of Fire, Lightning, and Glass dust rounds. Where Dynami lacks in damage, Areti makes up for it. These rounds shoot at a slower speed (roughly 1,200 fps), but cause massive damage upon whatever it hits. Upon impact, the fire and lightning dust super heats and melts the glass dust so that whatever is hit gets hit by molten hot glass, causing massive burns. Areti holds 8 bullets per cartridge.History:
Suntalia bought the two pistols when she read about how useful having a firearm can be. With the guidance of her mother, she was able to combine the different types of dust to create dust bullets that do devastating damage. Due to the complications in making these bullets and the amount of time to create them, Suntalia doesn't use these guns very often, unless the situation calls for it.
She gave the two guns their names because she noticed that her brother likes unique names with his weapons so she copied him.

Savas Carnelian (Pronounced Sah-VASH)Age:
22 years old. Birthday is on the 24th of the second monthGender:
Rhinoceros FaunusSymbol: Occupation:
Fourth year student at BeaconAppearance:
Savas stands at 8’4” with a muscular build and weighs 465lbs of pure muscle mass. Due to his Faunus heritage, he has brownish-grey skin as well as a small horn protruding right above his nose. He has extremely broad shoulders as well as arms that are as thick as people’s thighs and legs that are extremely massive. He has olive green eyes that are slightly slanted upward, giving him a penetrating gaze as if he is staring into a person's soul whenever he looks at people. His hair is dark brown and is about four inches in length, which he keeps pushed back. He also wears a gold necklace with a ring held on it, which is the same ring he had meant to give to his lover, Auburn.
The Guinness book of world records lists the tallest man ever to be Robert Pershing Wadlow, who stood at 8’11”. Therefore, I believe it is perfectly legit to have my guy be 8’1”, but it’s open for debate
His casual clothing attire consists primarily of a sleeveless crimson colored shirt with black cargo pants and black boots.
His battle attire consists of three different armors for differing occasions:
1.) His first, and most commonly used, attire is all crimson in color and consists of a metal breastplate, pauldrons, gauntlets, bracers reaching up to his upper forearm, and greaves that cover all the way up to right above his knees. Underneath each armor piece, he wears chainmail to protect the rest of his body. This set is mostly used against fighting Grimm, particularly the larger ones.
2.) His second attire is a full lamellar armor set that weighs 125lbs. He wears a helmet made of steel and small plates to protect his head and neck, steel bracers with leather gloves underneath, and the same greaves from his first set, hidden underneath a crimson cloth that covers his body. The lamellar armor primarily protects his vital organs as well as his shoulders and go from his shoulders all the way down to just below his knees. He also wears a thick padded leather underneath to give him added comfort and protection. This armor is worn particularly when fighting against other humans or large quantities of Grimm as it gives him the greatest protection against slashing and piercing attacks.
3.) His third and final set is a set of studded armor, which he uses only for scouting missions or when stealth and/or speed is essential. Weighing only around 50lbs, the armor covers his abdomen and upper legs. He also wears a set of leather bracers and leather boots. Though it doesn't give him as much protection, it gives him more freedom in movement, allowing him to attack more easily.
His weapons are harnessed onto his back whenever he is traveling with either of the three armors. He also wears a leather belt with holsters that hold his cylinders of dust crystals. All of his armor is slightly loose on him to make up for when he activates his semblance.History:
Savas was born in the town of Frouri in Mahāna Dhūsara Havā. He was born as an only child to his father, a rhinoceros faunus who works as a metal worker and his mother, an elephant faunus who works as a stone mason. Due to the size of his parents, both being rather large, he ended up being a really big child growing up, nearly twice the size of all the other children his age. His family lived in the Clan Gladiis district of Frouri and took great pride in their clan. When Savas was seven years old, he followed his parents advice to become a warrior for the clan, primarily because of his size and strength. After receiving his partner, a fellow great sword wielder named Vigdus Verez, Savas spent the next eight years in the Gladiis Magnus subset and was trained to fight with the great sword where he learned tactics on how to combat different types of Grimm as well as the weaknesses of the different types of Grimm that the village has fought thus far. However, due to his size and rapid growth, he oftentimes found himself fatigued and not able to keep up with many of the other kids when it came to stamina. Though, what he lacked in stamina, he excelled in strength and would always defeat any opponent he went up against in hand-to-hand combat and wrestling. During this time, his aura was unlocked by the head of the clan, though he was unable to figure out what his semblance was. Throughout those eight years, Savas would also go out on Grimm extermination missions with his clan, but only to observe so that he would be better equipped on fighting the different creatures. On Savas’ 15th birthday, to commemorate him becoming a man, he was fully recognized into the clan’s warrior ranks as a full-fledged warrior. Proud of their son, his parents presented Savas with his weapon: a six foot, 50lbs great sword, which he named Sandalphon, while Vigdus presented a large harness to hold the sword on his back. Thus his life as a warrior went on for another two years until that one fateful day.
The day looked to be like any other day. However, it all changed when the clan was informed by a badly injured miner that the road to the town’s mine was attacked by a huge dragon Grimm. After discussing it with the other clans of the village, it was decided that Clan Gladiis, Clan Clava, Clan Scutum, and Clan Arcus would take the honor of investigating the attack. With each clan gathering three of their best warriors as well as the leaders of the clans, Savas and Vigdus was also asked to go along with them to help, but also to observe as this was their first time seeing one of these beasts. It took the seventeen warriors about 2 hours to get to the mine. Upon arrival, it looked as if a great battle took place: dead bodies littered the area and there was blood everywhere. Moving from body to body, the warriors went and checked to see if there were any survivors. Not finding any survivors, the warriors moved towards the entrance of the mine. It was there that they met with the culprit. Staring face to face at the almost forty foot Steche Neak, the creature let out a huge roar before shooting out a huge white ball of fire at the group. Jumping out of the way, the warriors spread out in hopes of circling the beast. Thus the battle went on for almost ten minutes as the warriors continued in their attempt to try and kill the dragon. It was then that a moment of opportunity arose when the dragon had its back to Savas that he decided to charge straight at the dragon in hopes of slicing through its wing. However, the dragon was smart and knew that Savas was coming. With a huge flick of its tail, it thrashed Savas, knocking him through the air into a huge boulder. Laying there, half unconscious, Savas continued to hear the battle, but couldn’t open his eyes. “If only I was stronger…” was the only thought that went through his mind as time passed. After ten seconds or so, though it felt like an eternity, Savas felt a huge burst of strength welling over him. Opening his eyes, he saw a faint reddish glow encompassing his whole body. Feeling stronger than he ever felt before, he looked at the beast. As he watched the fight, he knew that he needed to make it so that the creature would not be able to move. And so, turning around he took hold of the boulder behind him and began to try and pick it up. He knew that he wouldn’t normally be able to pick up the boulder, but at that moment he felt like he could move mountains. Picking up the 600lb boulder, Savas hurled it as hard as he could at the dragon, which wasn’t paying any attention to him. It wasn’t until the last moment that the dragon noticed the rock, but it was too late and the boulder came crashing down on the dragon’s wing, crushing it completely. As the dragon let out a huge roar of pain, the rest of the warriors made easy work of it and killed it shortly after.
After that momentous day and seeing all the dead people at the mine, Savas vowed to grow stronger to protect his home and those who live there. Seeing the usefulness of having a bludgeoning weapon, Savas sent a request to Clan Clava, asking if they could make him a secondary weapon: a huge maul that stood around four feet tall and weighed 60lbs, which he named Metatron. Upon asking the clan leader, Lady Rubra Cerasis, on what he can do to become stronger, she advised him to consider going to Beacon to become a Huntsman. After discussing it with his parents, he went and applied, along with Vigdus, to Beacon and was barely admitted due to his lack of intellectual studies. Upon entering Beacon, he was relieved to find that he was placed on the same team as Vigdus; much of that decision was based on the fact that they had been partners for much of their lives and a request from back home. And so, with Vigdus being the team leader, his first year at Beacon would be what some would call a nightmare: being a strong warrior didn’t mean anything for his grades and Savas had a difficult time passing his classes. However, with the help of the others on his team, he was able to keep his grades afloat and was able to make it all the way through to his first few years. During this time, Savas grew very close to his other teammates and they became like family to him. He particularly grew close to one of his teammates and partner, Auburn, which turned into a relationship between the two. Throughout his time at Beacon, she was the one who helped him the most with his studies as well as in combat. With her speed and his strength, they were a near unstoppable pair in battle, able to take down whatever they faced. It was also during their time together that she suggested to have his weapons augmented to form into one destructive weapon, which he agreed to and had both his weapons augmented and re-forged so that they could be combined to form one weapon as well as use dust crystals in it, which he named Halvanhelev.
However, during the ending of his third year at Beacon, his team was sent on a search and destroy mission that went terribly wrong. What was to be a mission to exterminate the rising population of Grimm in the Snowy Forest went wrong when his team was ambushed by a hungry Ymir Rex that came out from being dormant to hunt. Its ambush took the group by surprise and with its first attack, it slashed through Vigdus’ armor as if a hot knife cutting through butter. Filled with rage at the sight of watching the dragon slaughter his childhood friend, Savas activated his semblance and transformed his weapon into Halvanhelev and began attacking the Grimm. However, the fight continued to go wrong when he was knocked against a huge tree by a swipe of the dragon's tail. As the dragon rushed in to kill him, he watched in horror as Auburn jumped into the fray to protect the one she loved. Trying to get to his feet, he was unable to do much other than watch as the dragon slashed Auburn across the abdomen, knocking her to the ground. It was there that Savas watched his dreams fall apart as he watched the dragon grab hold of the near unconscious Auburn and, with her eyes locked onto Savas, he saw tears fall from her face as the beast bite her head and shoulders off. With her death, Savas lost his will to fight and fell to his knees, ready to die. However, before he could be eaten to join the others, his last teammate jumped in at the last moment and activated her semblance, creating a force field dome to protect them both from the dragon’s onslaught. Having eaten his fill and lost its desire to keep fighting, the dragon left the two and flew away back to his cave. The loss of their teammates was hard on both Savas and his last teammate. With the near death experience, his last teammate decided to withdraw from Beacon to pursue a less dangerous occupation, leaving Savas alone and teamless as he entered in his final year at Beacon.Personality:
Savas is a quiet giant and, due to his size, was never mistreated by anyone for being a faunus. Always wearing a serious facial expression, he doesn’t smile or laugh much to those around him. The only people who he would open up to was his past teammates, but he now keeps quiet so as to not show any emotion. He is extremely protective of those whom he cares about and will always move to protect them, ready to destroy anything that tries to harm them, even if it puts his life in danger. When not doing class or going out on missions, he would spend his free time going to the arena to train or the gym to work out and grow stronger so that another tragedy would never happen again.
In regards to his studies, Savas is not the brightest in the bunch and struggles quite a bit with keeping his grades at average. He is not good with geography, science, math, or English. However, he does excel when it comes to combat lessons as well as battle tactics.Semblance:Strength of the Giant:
Upon activation, he glows a dark crimson and his semblance causes his muscles to almost double in size and strength. When he activates his semblance it allows him to wield his weapons faster and with more powerful attacks. Not only that, but it also doubles the strength of his heart (since it's a muscle), allowing it to pump blood faster and easier through his body. This allows him to be able to fight at full potential throughout the duration of his semblance being activated.
In order for him to activate his semblance, he must be completely still for ten seconds to “power up”. Once activated, his semblance will run for one minute before wearing off in which, his semblance then has a cool down of five minutes until he can use it again. Each usage puts a heavy strain on his body, leaving him feeling more fatigued after each use. If used in quick successions, it gives him the risk of having a heart attack due to the strain it puts on his heart. Overall, he is able to use it a total of 12 times a day before the excessive usage takes a toll on his body and causes his muscles to start to tear, which will then take him roughly 2–3 days to heal.
With his semblance activated he is able to throw roughly 1,000lbs, lift roughly 2,200lbs and can squat around 2,600lbs
The Guinness book of world records lists Paul Anderson as the strongest man in history, back-lifting 6,270Ibs, squatting 1,206Ibs, bench press 627Ibs, and push press 600Ibs. Seeing that my guys is roughly 2 feet taller, 100Ibs heavier than Paul, and is all muscle, I think it’s fair to have his semblance be able to lift the weight listed, seeing that his semblance doubles his strength. I am more than happy to discuss this though. More details on Paul Anderson is listed here: http://ffden-2.phys.uaf.edu/211_fall2002.web.dir/Peter_Broady/Pages/Strongestman.htm
Due to his height and size, he suffers from having low blood circulation due to the fact that it takes his heart more to pump that much blood through his body. He also has leg problems due to his weight and can only walk about three miles or run about half a mile before needing to take a break and sit down.
When in combat, he is the type to stand his ground and let his opponent come to him so that he can hit them back hard. Since he is a big target, he will oftentimes not dodge the attacks against him fully, but will maneuver himself so that it will either hit his armor or glance off of his armor, allowing him to attack back in force. Years of training to be a warrior has also given Savas a level-head and is able to calmly think through a fight to find the best way to defeat his opponents.
To sum up all his strengths, Savas is EXTREMELY strong with a fairly high endurance and defense due to his body mass and armor that he wears. He is a close range combat and can defeat many opponents with one hit. He is extremely protective of those who are close to him and will do whatever it takes to not let anyone that is under his protection die. Due to his years in combat school, he was able to learn quite a bit about dust and is proficient in its use. Lastly, he is a combat specialist who assesses every opponent he goes up against and builds his fighting strategy from there.
However, to sum up all his weaknesses, Savas has absolutely no long range and is at his weakest when fighting against a long range opponent. Though his protectiveness over those he cares about is one of his strengths, it is also a weakness as he will lose his cool and go into a berserk rage mode if any of his teammates get hurt. When this happens, he loses all rationality and will become vulnerable to any attack as all he is concerned about at that moment is to destroy the enemy and save his teammates. He also has a tendency to just take the damage that is being dealt to him in order to deal damage back. Also, due to his weight, his legs are unable to hold him up for a long period of time, making it so that he can only stay in combat for about 15 minutes before his legs start to feel weak and he runs the risk of falling over. Lastly, he has an intense hatred towards any kind of dragon Grimm, but particularly against Ymirs and will completely lose all control and will do whatever it takes to kill the beast in order to avenge his fallen teammates.WEAPONName: Sandalphon Primary Form:
A great sword measuring at six feet and weighing around 50Ibs. Secondary Form:
See HalvanhelevTertiary Form:
Sandalphon was given to Savas as a gift when he turned 15 by his parents. During his second year at Beacon, he had it melted down and re-forged so that it can be combined with Metatron. Name: Metatron Primary Form:
A Warhammer that stands around four feet tall and weighs 60Ibs. The hammer portion is made of hardened metal plates folding over each other to form the head. Secondary Form:
See HalvanhelevTertiary Form:
Metatron was made shortly after his fight with the Steche Neak where he realized that a bludgeoning weapon was just as deadly as a blade. During his second year at Beacon, he also had it melted down and re-forged so that it can be combined with Sandalphon.Name: Halvanhelev Primary Form:
When Sandalphon’s hilt is inserted into the hammer portion of Metatron, it activates a push plate that causes the folded metal plates that make up the head on Metatron to fold up and over Sandalphon. The blade on Sandalphon also extends out and grows in length with the full length of Halvanhelev being 10 feet. Secondary Form:
In the center of the hilt, a slot opens up where a dust crystal cylinder can be inserted. The cylinder can hold five dust crystals and each crystal does the following:
-Fire: ignites the blade on fire for up to 1 minute per crystal
-Earth: Hardens and doubles the weight of the sword, making it stronger with a heavier attack for up to 1 minute per crystal
-Air: When the sword is swung it shoots out a blast of air in an arc up to 40ft away. The wind speed averages around 75 mph (an F-0 category tornado wind speed) and is strong enough to blow down an average sized foe. Can only use this attack once per crystal
-Lightning: When the sword is swung, it shoots out an electrical current up to 25ft with enough current to stun whatever is hit for up to two minutes, depending on the size of the foe (Bolts hit at around 1,000,000 volts and 4 miliamps: the amount is around a standard stun gun). Can only use this attack two times per crystal
-Kinetic: When the sword makes impact upon anything, it activates the kinetic crystal, causing it to knockback whatever is hit. It has the power to push back up to 1,000lbs but can effectively send anything under 400lbs flying. Can use this attack three times per crystal
Each cylinder has a button on it, which, when pushed, is what activates the crystal. Tertiary Form:
When breaking Halvanhelev back into its original forms, Savas must first pull any cylinder out of the hilt. Then, he twists a small turnkey located on the bottom of the handle, which causes the metal on Metatron to refold off of Sandalphon and causes the one weapon to become two once again. History:
Savas had Halvanhelev created in his second year at Beacon when his team went on a search and destroy mission to take out a nest of Nevermore. During that fight he realized his uselessness against flying Grimm as he had no range to take them down. Thus, Halvanhelev was created.
