Done exactly as told. But need to clarify that "Incapable to fight on hands" means in melee. Aiming at a stationary object is possible.

This is a retcon I think because no previous records of such limits is present but the in universe justification is he only started experimenting with what is possible lately.
Swinging the entire shape is at list 1 but swing a specific part of object or chasing and curving doubles the effective amount of objects.
Range is 3 meters and strain goes linearly after that.
Stationery means no moving on it's own and is essentially a decoration on his aura field. Max number of 5 is about equivalent to 2 spikes.
Sniper is now only semi-automatic and a fire rate against stationary objects is given as once per 2 seconds. Damage number references are removed.

Added more to appearance.
Remove mention of urban legends, 'obvious' aura color, equations and weapon camouflage.
Fixed misuse of "cartridge".
Specified fire rate of weapon.
Added more to combat behavior and made a short list of strengths and weaknesses.
Added a list of applications with varying degree of effort. This list is made on the powerful side so a nerf is understandable and expected.

"I wouldn't have missed that if I had half my vision, considering the first thing he did in the first round is catching and launching an anti-tank rifle round." Cat fired an explosive round beside and behind Juno. "How would this work though?" And then Cat got his answer with just a bit of thought. "He would just catch the explosion, wouldn't he? That's one mistake on my mark."

"Do you think there is a limit to how much he can catch? I mean, he got pushed back by the anti-tank rifle, and I doubt the fireball can just grow arbitrarily big seeing his expression when he conjures the fireball." Cat tries to maintain the distance, still using his sniper form.  "I think I can afford to test it out in the beginning?"

Did you fix that? Oh, wait nevermind, I don't have electric dust. Umm... what about the fireball or the scaled-up sun? How do you deal with it now that you have seen it? Cat turned around, recognized Juno who he was just looking at the screen, and asked the questions.

Juno Vert, the 40th Vytal Festival tournament, year 1 individual bracket, second runner-up. That plus that he heavily injured the fourth year he previously met in a weapon-switched spar in the same manner he defeated Jack is all Cata knew about his classmate. Of course, as they are both first year students, they have classes together, but they didn't have much interaction and isn't selected in the same spar. Oh, and that her girlfriend had to leave beacon after a mission that went horribly wrong. Must be hard for his team.

If you can't guess it, I'm planning a match against Zabar. For someone. Seeing you fought him in the tournament, and that was a great fight, can I ask you to advise me? Catalina explained as he raised his weapon and turned it into sniper form, In combat, of course.

Note that, and that, and that... Alright, that's the clips for today.
Catalina Glenn switches off the computer, closes his eyes to reimagine Zabar's movements, and let out a breathe. He told them. His teammates and other friends. He will challenge Zabar Aga, the 40th Vytal Festival tournament, year 1 individual bracket, champion. But there’s a few problems. Would it be an official challenge, or a sparring match while on a visit? When would both of them have time? In either schools, or ideally the Amity Colosseum? How can Cat hope to win? Most importantly, would Zabar and/or Shade even accept it?

All those thoughts was temporarily put on hold as he changed into his blue T-shirt with a round shield in the center and trousers that reaches to his ankles, with his ammo box strapped on his back. This is sparring time.

Arriving at the arena of the school he made a few practice swings with Take That!, transforms and turns it around, and fires a blank round. He practice this set piece a few times, then another with quick swings, then his semblance. The usual spikes, blades plus hands, and his secret move that he thought as necessary to hide and beat Zabar at the last moment. He hoped he had thought of that sooner so he could have advanced in the tournament. But maybe it was not so bad, since he made a friend in his loss.

Now it's really sparring time. He stood there and stared at the entrance, hoping to challenge whoever comes through.

After the events of the Vytal Festival tournament Catalina planned to challenge Zabar Aga to a match for his friend made in combat and the other finalist, Nathan Eau, although he did not made any official statements and only his teammates, some teachers and friends knows about this. He is finding people to fight against to get some extra training in, plus reviewing his own weakness and ways to either avoid straining them or remedy it.

"It's nice for me, especially when I play music in my head in the rhythm of the explosions." Infrared commented.

Walking down the forest she recalled what she knew of sea and archipelago adventures from the few books she read and the fan-made thematic overhaul of Remnant: The Game and made a comparison. "Wooden ships and iron man, beating jungles in adventures, and looking for Macguffins. Reality is unrealistic after all, I guess..."

"I'm Infrared."She reached down into the crate, took a backpack as advised and strapped with the back on the front, then searched for useful tools, taking a flashlight, the box of mining charges, and a first aid kit and put them into her backpack."Probably not, since you can't crack flesh like you do on rock. The damage area is small too and the reach is short. Not to mention it's twohanded with weight for one hand." The unknowing Infrared gave her prediction on the combat use of that thermal drill before looking up and saw Rust pointing the thing at her. "Workplace safety buddy. don't ever point an on power tool at something you don't intend to use it on." She reminded him before gears clicked and she made a guess at the seeming hostility of the other Faunus. Her eyes widen and ears instinctively straightened, but do not make any reaction with her hand that would escalate the situation.

the creatures called Grimm
Just use "the creatures of Grimm", since they're called that all the time.

The organization failed to contaminatecontain the situation and leads to their downfall.

I'm not experienced enough to look at anything other than spelling, but here's what I can offer.
Welcome... back? And I look forward to seeing you in action with us.

Having relocated back to under the ship Infrared called on the top of her lungs. "Anyone need artillery support?"
While waiting for any of them to call back Infrared fired upon a few spots which she heard Grimm movements. She fires, the air roars and earth was spread. A round lands, pieces of creeps and nevermores turning into black smoke files into the air. Another explodes, another patch of dead Grimm smoking rises. Infrared keeps this up, changing target as she's being called. Pushing forward bit by bit the black-dressed rabbit faunus stopped on the edge of the forest waiting for instruction to advance.
(OOC:Meanwhile, feel free to replace the background music with the piano version of Credens Justitiam, by Animenz. Sorry for overriding your music Riven :P)
Artillery positions sure are nice. Just listen to the coordinates, load, aim, fire, repeat until otherwise, all while under the protection of infantries. Although this feels wrong and would probably warrant a tongue lashing from her officers.
Here's hoping I never have to do this to regular troops... I don't even want to imagine this replaced by people screaming and blood spilling.
(OOC: The usual accompanying music for artillery bombardment, 1812 overture, turns out to be a bit slow escalating for me. I just happens to be hearing that and decided this version of Credens Justitiam would be a good choice as I'm writing.)

Shift the terrain? How much? I hope it's not "creating earthquake" or "dirt and rocks budges up with each swing" level of power.

I've been here for a bit over a year now, and I've planned to post this on my year anniversary on this site but lost track.
So, you guys are awesome, and friendly, and delightful to RP with, I really wanted to say thanks.
I'm still proud of Cat vs Nathan.
I don't know where did I got those downvotes, maybe I broke rules or was not roleplaying according to character?
All in all I'm SO happy to have found here. Thank you.

Changed semblance aura cost from 2x original damage to 0.75x. Still does 2x the normal pain.
Reaction rockets now have no recoil, so it doesn't knock Infrared down and reload time is decreased as a result.
Changed descriptions elsewhere to reflect these two changes.

Infrared planted her footing, shifted her center of gravity and leaned on a wall to avoid tumbling in the initial ascension, then started to walk around, looking out of the window and into the engine room to appreciate the intricate machinery, and on the deck from the terminals to find what she's supposed to do, finding firing spots. Although that proved tobe meaningless for now as the weapons on deck cleaned out the Grimm around their landing spot as should be expected.
Getting back to the cargo bay she wondered how to get her carts of rockets down there. Oh right. I've always wanted to try that.
Infrared walked down after pushing her cart slightly in a attempt to time her landing just before her cart's. She bent her leg a little in a landing stance and put one hand on her cart. At the moment she touched the ground she activated her semblance twice to both launch herself and her cart sideways along the beach. After it finally stops having flung a good 20 meters or so she pushes back her cart to meet up with the rest of the party.
