Description:

Location and Size:
Atheos is located in the Southeast region of Vale, taking up a large portion of the Agricultural district along with the southern waterway.

Geography:

History:
Before Atheos was in existence, it started out as Ladylake, a plot of land which, while it was extremely beautiful, nobody wanted to move onto the property due to its bordering right next to Grimm territory, and so the land value dropped. Eventually, it was purchased by a retired hunter named Daedalus Beckett, who specialized in border defense, and that's what he did. Prior to the marriage of his wife and the conception of his daughter, he reinforced the borders of Ladylake, even more so than the surrounding area. Everything from traps to siege weaponry were implemented. After the construction of the Ladylake Manor, a great mansion standing atop a hill, along with a few other residential buildings, Ladylake began allowing people to move in. These people consisted mainly of retired huntsmen and huntresses, weary of their occupation yet still possessing the desire to utilize their skills and help out in some way, along with a select few artisans, and even a few runaways after the White Fang became more violent.

Eventually, the residents of Ladylake felt it appropriate to expand, and so, exterminating the Grimm in along a large area of the Vale border, a second rudimentary layer of defense was constructed past the first, stronger layer. While the outer defensive layer grew, the inner layer gradually shrunk. Meanwhile, the Kingdom of Vale had

 Taking the land outside the kingdom brought along quite a number of discoveries. A cave system contained large amounts of gold, and so its small number of dark inhabitants were subsequently destroyed and defensive measures put in place. However, the Beckett family did not desire a gold rush, so this was kept secret. Along with this, they discovered a small valley surrounded by mountains. Annexing this new territory spawned a new ideal within them. They realized that humanity will eventually overpopulate so expanding civilization is necessary, yet the Kingdom of Vale was still hesitant due to the events at Mountain Glenn.

Militia:
Goals: To unite humanity, make extinct the forces of evil, and expand civilization to all of Remnant.
Comprised of volunteer Ex-White Fang, Military Veterans, Huntsmen and Huntresses, Ex-Huntsmen and Huntresses, Students

Technology and Defenses:

Anti-Siege Spring Traps: Utilizes the same mechanisms as Beacon Launch Pads and are built on slopes to launch adversaries back towards the assailing horde at high speeds.

Dawnbringer: Built to provide forces with a source of light during night-time combat, the Dawnbringer is essentially a large cannon loaded with extremely powerful flare rounds that can act as an artificial sun, similar to the one on the desert stage at Amity Colosseum.

Fort Blackknight - A small pass in the mountains east of Vale with a river running along one side leads to a gorge and further on to a small but beautiful valley where the air is crisp and clean, has a few waterfalls that descend into a spring which leads into aforementioned river, often with deer and other wild animals that stay there to rest. Just recently completed, Fort Blackknight stands within that valley, a fortified stronghold built as yet another foothold for humanity's survival.

Port Achaeorum - All the way east of Atheos, Port Achaeorum is a large fortified ship gantry and drydock built into the cliffs. Many members of Atheos see aerial warships as an impractical show of power by Atlas, along with a massive waste of dust. Thus, instead they have turned their focus back to the construction of naval warships instead.
Ship Technology: ShowHide

On-Board Advanced Computing Unit: All ships have a virtual intelligence installed which does most of the heavy lifting. While this allows for the ship to completely function with only a single captain, each one can be crewed by up to five members: The captain, the first mate, sonar operator, engine operator, and weapons operator. Everything is analog and doesn't use wireless communication.

Minimal Crew: Aside from the bridge, each ship has only 6 cabins plus the captain's quarters, a kitchen, and a restroom. Having a small crew also allows the ship to install a larger amount of weaponry and other devices in place of the extra living space and life support of an average 80-member crew.

Secure Aura Authentication Systems: All ships have authentication systems with the captain's aura imprinted to them. Only the designated captain or a member of the Beckett family is able to activate the ship.

Dust Reactor Cannon: The DRC is an extremely powerful weapon resembling a torus. Within the torus are 8 dust reactors located an equal distance apart. These reactors spin around in the torus, gathering a massive amount of energy in the center hole before firing it out as a large beam, similar to Penny's weapons. The DRC also has a ring outside the torus that allows it to hover in the air.

Name: Amaryllis Beckett

Appearance: Amaryllis possesses long black hair and pink eyes.
Description Daedalus's wife and mother to Marigold.
Semblance: Dousing - Amaryllis's semblance allows her to know if there are creatures of Grimm within a 3 kilometer radius. She isn't able to sense the Grimm individually, just a vague sense if there's at least one within range.
Combat: Amaryllis does not participate in combat.

Name: Horatius Macaulay
Age: 54
Appearance: Horatius is a good-looking muscular man with pale skin, messy jet black hair, and gray eyes. He often walks around topless with a pair of black trousers on and a chain hooked on white belt.
Description Horatius is a highly irresponsible huntsman and father to Strelka. However, don't let this fool you. He is legendary in schools throughout the world for the feat of single-handedly holding off a Grimm invasion on an Atlesian settlement while the guards had either fallen early on or run away in hiding, defending hundreds of lives with only his greatsword and his semblance for more than ten minutes while stark-naked from a drunk night out in the snow before the fleet arrived. To be fair, it was his wife’s hometown and she was pregnant. After being kicked out of the house by her a few years after for pitting their six-year-old daughter against an Ursa (which she won because it was weighted down), they eventually got back together after accidentally tearing down an arena at Signal during an unsanctioned spar. He joined up with the Achaeorum Militia after hearing about it from his daughter and accepted a position as captain there.
Semblance: Same as Strelka's semblance.
Combat: Horatius is legendary and known throughout the world for his many feats while wielding his greatsword. Horatius's fighting style is about about completely shattering an enemy's defense with one blow and 'attacking their attacks' rather than blocking them. There are many rumors, some which are true and some that aren't. Here are his most notables:
- Single-handedly defended an Atlesian settlement from a Grimm Invasion while naked.
- Riding a Giant Nevermore into a Goliath and killing both at once during his Beacon initiation.

Combat: Regina wields a high-caliber pistol in battle, and dishes out highly destructive attacks with her semblance. She's also fast.

The White Fang Restored Order:
The Restored Order of the White Fang is a secret group within Achaeorum composed of ex-White Fang members who respect the old ways and abandoned the now-violent group. The Restored Order focuses on co-existence between faunus and humans, with faith that Achaeorum will be able to achieve this. Ex-White Fang members are secretly given a wireless polygraph disguised as a simple chat, and if they prove themselves trustworthy, they will be given knowledge of the Restored Order and an option to join.

Myoko Sisters:
The Myoko sisters consist of Nachi, Haguro, and Ashigara. A powerful trio, they employ advanced guerrilla warfare tactics in battle. The Myoko sisters grew up with normal parents that aspired for them to become huntresses and help the world see faunus in a better way. However, at a young age, they were orphaned as their parents were killed during a robbery by faunus that had gone bad, right in front of Ashigara. After being sent to an orphanage, the owner being a member of the White Fang whom they admired, they also decided help the organization's cause. However, as they learned to fight and began going on raids, being a powerful asset, they became hesitant, as this was exactly the opposite of what they grew up aspiring to be. One day, they went on a raid and never returned, abandoning the organization. On the run and attempting to hide their identity, they crossed into Ladylake and begged the owner to let them stay for just a while, explaining their situation. To their surprise, they were allowed to live in their own two-story home together, given the choice whether to continue running or stay. They decided to stay and also to join the militia, as Beacon was too risky, and they wanted to help.
Myoko Sisters: ShowHide
Name: Nachi Myoko
Age: 20
Appearance: Nachi is a husky faunus, the definitive trait being a sickle tail. Her dark brown hair is kept at a short wavy bob that slightly drapes over her left eye, she has light colored skin, and her eyes are a great mix of forest colors of dark brown along with a variety of different shades of green. She usually wears a white blouse, a dark green skirt, and brown loafers along with two green bracelets on her left arm.
Description: The oldest of the Myoko sisters. Always calm, serene, and mature. Nachi is the captain of the Seraphim Class Battlecruiser Leviathan.
Semblance: Scrying - Nachi's semblance allows her to place intangible glyphs anywhere up to one kilometer away including obstructed locations, that allows her to see the area like a camera. When she sits in a meditative position, the glyphs also act as auxiliary minds, allowing her to process all information being received at once with ease, and she can also make them move, as long as they are within the kilometer radius. Nachi can place up to 16 glyphs and maintain them for an hour before becoming too fatigued.
Combat: Nachi doesn't participate directly in combat. Instead, she plays a highly useful role in gathering battlefield intelligence, meditating at a safe location with her eyes closed as she relays information through her communications device. She is also incredibly useful at and in charge of seeking out underground Grimm burrows or caves.

Name: Haguro Myoko
Age: 19
Appearance: Haguro is a jackal faunus, a set of pointed ears being the definitive trait, with dark brown hair tied into two pigtails, light skin, and multi-colored green eyes. She wears a white dress shirt, a dark grey waistcoat, and a light brown jacket over that goes down to her knees. She also wears a pair of dark brown trousers and combat boots.
Description: The middle Myoko sister. Complains a lot.
Semblance: Bilocation - Haguro's semblance allows her to physically exist at two places at once. Her semblance is different from a usual clone semblance, as when used, both forms are the 'real' one. Any data one receives is shared between the two, and they both are capable of attacking at full power. However, harming one will also harm the other, as they are one and the same. She has 100 minutes of semblance use before becoming too fatigued to fight.
Combat: Uses sniper rifle, ambushes from multiple directions.

Name: Ashigara Myoko
Age: 18
Appearance: Ashigara is a wolf faunus, a set of fangs being the definitive trait, with long dark brown hair in a hime cut, slightly tanned skin, and maroon eyes. She usually wears a pair of black jeans, a brown belt, a white t-shirt, and a maroon zip up hoodie which reaches her hips.
Description: The youngest of the Myoko sisters. While being hyperactively violent, Ashigara possesses a good heart as she strives towards making the world a better place. She very much enjoys blowing up Marigold Beckett’s clones and does so whenever it doesn’t damage anything.
Semblance: Sudden Raid - Ashigara possesses a blink semblance, allowing her to instantly teleport short distances. The blink has a maximum seven ‘charges’, each charge allowing Ashigara to teleport 5 meters. She can also stack charges to teleport farther. She regenerates a charge every 8 seconds or when she kills something withing 3 seconds after a blink. She can also give charges to other people, allowing them to blink.
Combat: Wielding a 24-inch straight sword along with a multitude of explosives, Ashigara blinks her way through the battlefield, wrecking mayhem as the main damage dealer of the Myoko Sisters. One moment she’s at one place, slicing a Grimm apart and the next moment, she’s somewhere else blowing a few of them up. She keeps six HE grenades strapped around each leg, sixteen of them on a belt around her waist, four of them on her right arm, and seven of them on a bandolier.
