Good! Finally, he was caught in her semblance. Sure, it might not actually do too much to a well-trained body, but it'd certainly put a hamper on his movements. Now all that was left was to go on the offensive. While still being careful, of course - he wasn't cast into a block of tungsten, just twice as heavy.

Keeping her eyes trained on her opponent, Camelia let Orion go back to its original configuration before slotting it back in its place on the armour, after which she pulled out the second half of Unity with her free hand.

Of course it wasn't gonna be this easy, now, would it. As soon as her opponent dodged the field, she released her semblance; there was really no point in waiting for him to walk inside the affected zone. She wouldn't give up easily either, though - she attempted to 'aim' where he was going to be instead, half-hoping he wouldn't look where he was going while his attention was onto her.

Her eyes momentarily flicked towards the green blur that appeared out of nowhere, heading around to her right, but Camelia rapidly brought her eyes back towards her enemy. Looking mid-way between the two objects of interest, she attempted to split her attention between the two disparate spots of her visual field as well as the semblance's zone charging in the opponent's predicted path.

Thankfully, Orion was relatively maneuverable.

...Yeah, that wasn't gonna work, was it. AND now he needed to get outta there ASAP.

Mentally thanking his temporary partner for the partial reprieve while starting to run towards the Huntress, he extended Ergia into star form and, somewhat like a pole vault, used it to hoist himself as high as possible - however, unlike one of the poles used for the discipline, Ergia had absolutely no pliability at all. This allowed him to stay a good 2 meters off the ground, without the extra reach a pole's spring would normally afford. He also kicked the heating in the lowest part of the staff as high as it could go to prevent it becoming stuck in ice.

Despite these precautions, the flames still 'singed' - or maybe anti-singed? - his skin as they passed below. Thankfully, Ergia's heat protected it from becoming encased in ice. He dropped back to the ground and kept running towards the enemy. He'd need to go all-out immediately, semblance and all, to have any hope of inflicting damage on her Aura.

[Ergia: 270 rounds loaded, 1 extra magazine, propulsion reserves 98%]

Camelia was rather content with how things had ended up; the guy was now in range of her semblance, yet not close enough to pose a significant melee threat (bar those damn discs of his). Steadying her defensive stance, she started using her semblance, a purple glow surrounding her opponent's immediate vicinity.

Now that she had him right where she wanted, all that was left was to spring the trap and press her advantage as fast as she safely could.

Slight worry briefly flashed across Helena's face before evaportaing like morning mist. Surely, if they'd brought him here to fight, he couldn't be that bad.

"I don't really think pervasive Aura training would happen as things are now", Helena interjected. "A lot of places, including Kingdoms, pride themselves on the freedom they allow their populace to have within their borders. Having mandatory martial training like that would probably be viewed in a similar light to conscription."

Helena's usual smile grew even brighter, if physically possible, as Diana spoke of how they met. "Believe it or not, there's really not that many people trying to learn about basic first aid, for some reason. We were pretty much the only people who showed up to the special classes."

Nathan considered the morsels of food with an analytical eye - until Janken called everyone's attention to himself, at which time he abandoned his cogitation and walked up to the chair Janken was perched upon.

For the entire length of the (mostly-)monologue, he listened intently and absorbed the information like a good sponge absorbs liquids. There were a few times he was surprised - the carbon room being a definitely-not-safe-for-people universal simulator of sorts and the method with which he'd use it were quite different from what he'd been thinking up so far.

Once all was said, he just approached the chair to the left of the... control seat? Anyway, the equipment bank to the left of that one. He sat down with little ceremony, ready to get going. He wasn't exactly looking forward to having a needle stabbed into his arm, but readied himself to consciously lower his Aura anyway, making sure his right arm was put slightly further forward than his left one.

At that moment, a thought flashed across his conscious. At the earliest opportunity, he asked aloud "Hold on. What about our semblances? How would they work when we're outside our bodies?"

Alright, this wasn't working. She was gonna have to bring out the big guns. Anna moved the hand that was on the guy's back to his left shoulder and her other hand found, after a brief hesitation, his right shoulder. Grasping them firmly, she pulled him to his feet and held him there as much as necessary, bringing him closer to her in a sort of half-hug-brohug-whatever. At this time, her logic center was completely out and nothing but instinct kept her going.

"Being blind doesn't make you look like an idiot. It's who you are, for better or worse, and you've no reason to be ashamed of it." As her brain started working better again, she realized what she was doing and turned considerably more sheepish. "B-by the way, have you ever come to the library before? There're s-some braille helps, like maps, close to where the assistant usually is. With categories a-and everything." She took a slow, small step forward, aiming to bring Noir to his desired destination... sooner or later.

As the Huntress swings her prosthesis, Nathan manages to take off before the flood of cryogenic fire reaches him. Thankfully, it disspates quickly enough that by the time he touches the ground again, there're only a few flickers left. He had no idea what Smokey was doing, but whatever it was, he was keeping her there from beneath the ice shell.

Working as fast as he can, he takes Ergia out of the harness and switches to gun mode, getting down on one knee to increase his accuracy. While the transformation happens, he takes the time to thank his own happenstance for placing him to the side. Once it's done, he lines up the woman's mass and pulls the trigger, subconsciously hoping for the spray to miss his frozen partner.

[Full-auto assault rifle rounds aimed at the chest-hip area with decent accuracy: 12 rounds per second, 3% per round (feel free to adjust damage to take into account disparity between 1st year and Huntress)(Smokey should get out relatively unscathed bullet-wise)]

Ah. Well that made things a bit harder, didn't it. Anna stayed sat down in front of her interlocutor, two metal plates resting atop her knees, not really in the know as to what to do now.

I'd throw in Nathan solely to further torment Gray.

If forced, Nathan would just go with some stupidly dark sunglasses and a trench coat, possibly leather.

Camelia might get herself a witch costume with broom and everything and fake flying with her semblance.

Anna would go as a ninja. Most definitely.

Brock would be a pirate.

Helena would probably go as a sort of wild ranger and bring her critters along.

Maena would be an Atlasian Air Force general.

Mark would, uh, be a postman I guess?

And that's all my approved chars.

Nathan wouldn't go

Seeing Gray's reaction, Helena promptly retrieved her scroll and closed it before putting it out of sight. She wasn't a psychological expert or anything but that guy looked like he had some serious trauma and/or drama stemming from that fight. Not that it'd be all that surprising, really, considering the events...

Turning back to the other ongoing discussion, partially to get away from the sensitive subject and partially to let the poor man breathe, she chimed in with her own two cents, smile disarmingly large and genuine as per usual. "And that's why you've got me for those without Aura! My semblance works independent of that, so I can always take care of the Aura-less wounded while Diana can support the active fighters better than I could. Well, I'm pretty decent with a bow, but I can't exactly refill others' Aura or anything."

Upon seeing exactly what his 'partner' had created, Nathan quickly scampered off to one side of the arena, Ergia taking its compact form again before being placed on his back. From what little he'd seen, the only way he was going to get out of the consquences to the guy's crazy antics was lifting off above the anti-fire's range. When the barrier had flickered on earlier, it'd seemed to be cylindrical. You bet he was gonna make full use of his vertical abilities.

Focusing on the Huntress, he stood ready to blast off as fast as his reflexes allowed.

Nathan intently listened as the Faunus spoke, only briefly distracted by the thought of a Faunus working for Atlas. Not much technical info apart from the IV drips and monitoring equipment, but that was good enough already - besides, he wasn't about to force anyone to spoil things for him. He was patient, he could wait until everyone played their part.

He didn't have the occasion to really be aware of what was being said while he listened to the small-fish woman, but was however aware that something was being said. When she stopped slowly scanning the room and smiled, Nathan understood that that was all for the details - for now, anyway. He courteously thanked her with "Thank you very much for the explanations.", a smile (if you looked hard enough) simultaneously gracing his features. He briefly wondered what her position and/or title was/were before halting his train of thought at the mention of cheese and crackers.

While Janken seemed almost comically disappointed in the lack of sugar, Nathan wasn't one to say no to potentially tasty food. He didn't know what the cheese was, though, which is why he approached 'Manny-boy' to a respectful distance before asking "What kind of cheese is it?", eyeing the small slabs of dairy product on the crackers.

Camelia frowned a bit when Toast talked about 'missing the show', before outright facepalming when he started firing his gun. Of course, she soon started looking through her fingers. She was partly impressed by the extent of his acrobatic abilities, but also partly mortified by the sheer amount of Hunters she glanced from the weapons being drawn. For crying out loud. After he finished utterly showing off, she gingerly walked back a step, allowing him to pick up his bag. She also listened as Alfyn berated him for firing his weapon in a crowded, Hunter-riddled city.

When Alfyn suggested she demonstrate her abilities, a sly grin crossed her face before she answered. "Well, I don't think I could show everything, namely due to the environment's nature, but let's." She took off her rucksack and depositing it at Toast's feet. "But this time, you're watching my stuff."

After stepping back a bit, she started by grabbing Orion and lifting it from its slot, then putting it on her arm. "I'm what you could coin a shieldmaiden more often than not, usually to serve as a form of tank for those with me. This shield, however - " she switched it to its secondary form " - can fire off a small variety of Dust mixes. Apart from that, it's built like a tank.

Moving on,
" she continued as she reset the shield and stored it on her back, "Are the actual weapons." She unsheathed both halves of Unity. "I usually either use shield and sword or two swords at once, although I can also wield..." She pressed the two halves side-by-side and their pieces slowly clicked together, forming a rather large sword. "...a big sword..." She let the halves separate again and put them end-to-end, the handle pommels touching. The swords clicked together and turned into a double-bladed sword. Spinning it a bit for effect, she finished with "...or a fancy sword." Finally, she separated the halves again and sheathed them on here back.

"Apart from that, my semblance allows me to manipulate gravity. It has a few different applications, but it allows me to do this." Camelia crouched to the ground, hands on the floor, as if she was getting ready to jump as high as possible. A purple glow surrounded her and not half a second later, as it darkened noticeably, she jumped and floated up.

And up.

And up.

In fact, she let herself float right up to the level of the mountain's summit, then let go briefly to start going back down before reactivating her semblance to stop accelerating. A decent while later, she softly landed back in the spot she'd jumped from, a wide grin gracing her features.
