Appearance: Despite being male, Bordeaux looks very feminine, though he embraces it, surprisingly.

He has pale clear skin that seems to shine naturally, and sky blue eyes that glimmer in the light. He has a heart-shaped face, with a button nose, and lips that are on the fence for thin, and full, usually in a straight line. He still has a bit of baby fat in his cheeks, so it seems soft and a bit cuddly, and he has shoulder-length wavy light blue hair, soft and silky and usually a tiny bit tangled.

Bordeaux wears dressy casual clothing. Khaki pants, a denim or flannel vest over a collared red shirt, and black loafers. He prefers dark colors as opposed to light, since using his Semblance will often stain his clothes, and he'd rather hide the stains whenever he can.

Bordeaux is more of a support-type fighter, and mostly hangs back from the frontlines. Despite this, he stays physically fit, and is rather slim, with a mostly lithe frame, the only exception being his perky butt. (No regrets.)



History: Born in Vale to a former first responder and a retired Huntress turned nurse practitioner, Bordeaux was the child of two of Vale's medical practitioners, and after some time, it showed. His parents ran a small, fairly successful clinic, and would teach a young Bordeaux everything they did whenever they could. Growing up, Bordeaux would read medical textbooks and observe how his parents worked, occasionally helping with minor procedures (once he was of age, because if you thinking a five-year old is gonna be trust with handling a needle or expensive medical devices, you're dead fucking wrong) or running stock on the supplies in the storeroom. Soaking up the knowledge like a sponge, Bordeaux was on the fast track to becoming a medial practitioner like his parents. With high hopes, his parents pushed for him to pick a career that would undoubtedly help other people.

And he did pick such a career.

Just not the one they expected.

Instead of a medical career, like the path they hoped he would choose, Bordeaux instead pushed to become a Hunter. Despite his parents' protests, he claimed that it would save lives the way both he and they wanted to. He pushed that he would help wounded Hunters to survive the Grimm, and if all else failed, he could always just retire like his mother. Finally giving in to his reasons, the two signed him up for Signal Academy, where he trained for three years to be a Huntsman while keeping his own medical skills sharp and ready.

His mother having previously unlocked his Aura a few days before he began studying to fight the Grimm, Bordeaux entered Signal Academy armed with a plethora of medical knowledge that eventually leaked into his own fighting style. His combat skills were...honestly not that great, however, he excelled in classes on medical skills, and was acknowledged as one of the best students in the course.

In his third year at Signal, Bordeaux forged his weapon, a whip that doubled as a garrote, and could shift into a rifle similar to that of the real world M1 Garand. With recommendations from his teachers due to his exceptional medical skills, Sanguine applied for Beacon, enrolled a month being having applied. In addition to that, He began using various Dust canisters to alter the battlefield to his advantage. With a push of his Aura, he could create a wildfire, freeze the ground over, create gravity fields that disoriented an enemy, and more.

Personality: Bordeaux is, first and foremost, loyal. He believes that it doesn't if they're your family or not, if they bully you, manipulate you, try to abuse you for their own personal gains, you should NOT associate yourself with them. He believes in the motto "The blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb", and will often encourage his friends to stand for themselves. He is a bit socially awkward, but generally extroverted and very friendly. However, he's also prideful and a bit of a narcissist, and likes when people compliment his looks. He's also impulsive, and will charge into a situation if he felt that his friends were in danger of any kind.

Aura and Semblance: Bordeaux's aura is maroon red, and is above average, capable of healing moderate to slightly severe wounds, with a tiny bit of help keeping the wounds closed, and acting as a semi-strong barrier against oncoming attacks.

His Semblance is Blood Bond. With it, Bordeaux can use his own blood, Blood Type O and free of any diseases, by the way to temporarily heal another person's wounds and act as a sort of band-aid, possibly prolonging their lives for a while so help can arrive and save them. The lost blood regenerates at a minute per cup of blood used, and his limit is 1.5 pints of blood, so  maximum three minutes need to replenish his lost blood. In addition to this, every time his blood replenished, it purified itself to remove any pathogens or other possibilities of infection.

The downside is that seeing as he's, you know, using his own blood to heal others, it'll leave him extremely weak and possibly anemic for the time he needs to replenish his own blood. He'll essentially be a sitting duck with a sign that says "Free meal here!" in a fight. Also, there's no guarantee the transfusion will work, depending on how severe the wound is. The transfusion only occurs for those that Bordeaux considers an ally, so enemies will not be healed should they be wounded.

Combat Behavior: Bordeaux is a support-type fighter, his Semblance not suited for combat. He's more the team medic, though he is more than capable of holding his own against enemies. Despite this, he's not good with hand-to-hand combat, and would lose in a fist fight. He also fights via medical knowledge, using knowledge of weak areas and pressure points in a pinch. However, this makes him somewhat predictable, and a more attentive opponent can eventually turn his own tactics against him.

WEAPON

Name: Flourish

Primary Form: A 9 foot long red whip with a rifle stock for a hilt. It's mainly used to keep enemies away from him, or occasionally disarm them. However, he can also use the whip to throw people off via wrapping it around their limbs and pulling, or using the whip like a garrote if he's in a pinch.

Secondary Form: A rifle similar to the real-life M1 Garand. The rifle stock folds in, the whip immediately straightens out and stiffens, a loading chamber is revealed near the stock, and the whip retracts to reduce a significant part of the length. The tip opens up to reveal a rifle barrel about 2 feet long

Dust Functions: Outside of firing Fire Dust rifle rounds, it has no Dust functions whatsoever.

History: The weapon Bordeaux built in his third year of Signal. Over the course of a year, Flourish has been enhanced and repaired over and over until perfected by Sanguine. It can store up to twenty Dust rounds per magazine

WEAPON

Name: Dust Array v 1.3, or 'Blight'

Primary Form: A belt of various filled canisters of Dust, ranging from Fire to Energy to Gravity. Each canister is a one-use item and must be refilled upon usage, and each canister has a different effect depending on what Dust remains inside.

Secondary Form: None

Dust Functions: 'Blight' functions wholly on the types of Dust are currently stored within the five canisters. Each canister can only contain one type of Dust, and effects vary. Bordeaux favors Fire, Lightning, Ice, Gravity, and Steam Dust. however.

History: A secondary weapon made from a simple leather belt with five leather bands to hold the canisters, the five canisters themselves, and whatever Dust Bordeaux had on him. Initially called Dust Array v1.3, due to what Bordeaux was still trying to enhance, he eventually just named it 'Blight', deeming the previous name to be a bothersome mouthful.

Name:  Kin Sakana

Species, Gender: Male Fish Faunus, Golden Koi Variant

Background: So basically, he's a guy. Who almost everyone thinks is a girl. And no matter how many times he says otherwise, they don't believe. RIP his self-esteem. Also, he graduated from Signal and got scouted for a modelling agency. And his most notable feat is that, at 13 years old, he climbed up a massive cliff with the full force of a waterfall bearing down on him.

Personality: Kind and generous, often helping people with their problems. A bit extroverted, but generally keeps to himself and stays alone. Generally open-minded and mentally flexible with a lot of things, so he doesn't care about most trivial things like someone's dark secrets or similar stuff. Don't talk about his appearance, or he will throw you into a meat grinder and feed your corpse as burgers to people.

Combat:Mid-to-long range fighter, uses a naginata/nine-sectioned whip/bayoneted hunting rifle. Fights pragmatically, or, as other people call it, 'dirty', willing to use any and every advantage he has over his enemies. Shies away from close combat, but will fight up close if he has to. Wastes no movements, quickly going in, killing the Grimm, and moving on.

Name: Kin Sakana

Age: 17

Species and Gender: Male Fish Faunus, Golden Koi Variant

Symbol:  A golden wheel with a dollar sign in place of the spokes.

Occupation: 1st Year Beacon Student, Part-Time Model

Appearance: Despite being male, Kin is extremely feminine-looking, to the point where he has a slight complex about it.

He has delicate pale skin that makes him seem like a porcelain doll, and molten gold irises that seem to twinkle in the light. His face is heart-shaped, with a cute button nose, and full pink lips angled to look like he's usually pouting. He has a tin bit of fat in all the right places, his face seeming to be plush and soft, and his gold-colored hair is cut into a bob cut, the tips curling just the slightest and ending at the earlobes.

His clothes are casual, with a hint of innocent seduction. He wears a short-sleeved white v-neck that exposed a bit of his collarbone, and loose denim jeans that fall just the slightest, as if tempting anyone to pull them down. He wears black sneakers with gold outlines, and painted koi on the sides, and a good luck charm from his parents with the kanji for 'Fortune' around his neck.

He has slender limbs that sit on the fence of 'unhealthy', and hit that perfect ratio where he could have been an arm model and made thousands of Lien. However, his most notable (and to him, his most annoying) feature is his perfect peach-shaped bubble butt that draws the attention of both boys and girls, and had earned him many a fan.

Being a Golden Koi Faunus, he has golden koi scales running down his sides, and along his fore arms, and can spend a longer time underwater than most. It also makes him a swimming pro.

He dropkicks anyone who mentions how his butt looks.

History: Born in the frontier town of Hisuio to a human father and a Koi Faunus mother, Kin Sakana was a Mistralian frontierman the day he began to walk. He was taught many survival tips and learned to do everything hands-on. From skinning a fish, to building a rain collecter, to hunting, he was there, being taught by his parents.

Growing up, he was outed for looking extremely feminine, developing a small complex over that. However, he still made friends with people who accepted him for his looks, and became tightly-knit with him. The town was small, and one of the people Kin had befriended was the local delinquent, so every just kept their mouths shut and moved on. During a routine foraging run with Hunters as escorts when he was 13, there was a heavy thunderstorm, and they had to camp at the foot of a cliff, the top of which where Hisuio was. Lightning struck the cliff face, breaking it apart, and revealing a freshwater spring....which immediately began to pour a torrent of water down the cliff, cutting off their way back, and creating a pseudo-waterfall. Upon waking up, they were also faced with a horde of various Beowolves and Ursai heading towards them, the Hunters already preparing to fight while the adults would take the kids and hide. With nothing but pure determination, a small knife, and his Fish Faunus heritage, Kin stripped down to his underwear dove into the waterfall, beginning to climb the cliff and using the knife to chip footholds for him to use whenever he ran out of places to grab onto. With his sheer determination, he powered through the waterfall, climbing to the top of the cliff, which appears to those at the bottom as him swimming up the waterfall, and called for help, directing the townspeople to the bottom of the cliff, where the Hunters had already dispatched the Grimm and protected the foragers. Exhausted, he fainted, sleeping for a full day before he woke up.

Getting an offer from Signal Academy for his feat, due to one of the Hunters having a connection with a professor there, he accepted to the encouragement of his parents, and traveled to Vale, where he began four years of coursework to become a Hunter. However, he was still a Faunus, and outed for his race, and bullied throughout the school year, though he fought back whenever people made fun of his appearance, quickly earning a reputation as the 'Golden Demon of Signal', for his pragmatic way of fighting and his scales. He was confessed to multiple times, by both boys and girls, but rejected all of them, having not been prepared to engage in a relationship.

In his third year in Signal, he built his main weapon, the 'Shibuki', and began training with it, taking to it like....well, like a fish to water. He discovered that he had a proficiency with the naginata, and quickly gew in skill with 'Shibuki', while keeping the knife he used to climb the cliff as a secret back weapon, just in case.

Graduating from Signal, he applied for Beacon, and was accepted due to the recommendations his teachers sent to the headmaster, Alban Inverno. He went to a club to celebrate......The 'Drunk Elephant', a well known club in Vale, both for it's high-end tech, and the criminals that flocked there for information by Pyra Rosso, the club owner, who he quickly befriended when he offered life advice while she was going through a midlife crisis, not knowing she was an info broker. He quickly became a source of advice for the club owner, the two growing close enough to be familiar with each other.

Unknowingly ending up with a link to the underworld, he quickly became a valued customer of the 'Drunk Elephant', gaining VIP status due to his connections with Pyra, and befriending the various staff over time whenever he helped them out. Even when learning of Pyra's main job as an info broker, he still stays in touch with her. Though he had to explain to her and everyone in the club that he was actually a guy, to their shock.

Before he actually attended Beacon, he was scouted for a modelling company, and became a part-time model for both masculine and feminine clothes, quickly gaining prestige for his looks, and became the 'Golden Princess', due to the owner pranking him by spreading rumors that he was a girl, much to his chagrin. Whenever he has a free day, or enough time, he goes to Vale and models for any new clothes for magazines and such.

Personality: Kind and generous, Kin is often helping others with their problems, as part of his nature. He tends to create little ripples among the community, nudging them towards better directions at his encouragement. He is a bit extroverted, but usually keeps to himself, due to past experiences with bullying, and fear that those he tries to befriend will eventually bully him as well. He is generally open-minded and flexible, preferring to try new things and go with the flow at times. He is also relaxed and calm, having learned to keep calm in a situation because panicking could get you killed outside the Kingdoms. However, should you mention how feminine he looks, he will flip out and promptly try to turn you into chunky salsa and feed you to wild dogs.

Aura and Semblance: His Aura lives by his name, shining a bright gold and is a bit above average for his age, but not a lot. It protects him from incoming physical damage, and heals minor to moderate wounds.

Kin's Semblance "Ripple Effect", is extremely weak. With it, anything Kin touches will ripple continuously should he will it, until he removes his hand. However, his Semblance does not change the physical composition of what he touches, nor does it make it elastic and such. As a result, his Semblance is harmless when touching things like water and clothing, or other elastic materials. However, were he to use it on solid, sturdy materials like wood, metal, or even bones, the material would be unable to handle the ripples, and when he removes his hand, they will promptly break, ranging from a single ripple, which causes a slight fracture for bones, and a crack or bending for anything else, to a large number of ripples, in which the material will explode from the sheer strain of the rippling. Not only that, but if Kin were to touch something with another thing inside, like a matryoshka doll with a series of smaller matryoshka dolls inside it, all the dolls would be affected, the inner dolls to a lesser extent. In being a versatile, yet weak Semblance, it is underestimated and perfectly capable of severely wounding others if not taken seriously.

On a side note, it doesn't affect individuals with intact Aura. If their Aura breaks, however, his Semblance will affect them. His Semblance only affects the object of what he touches for now, and requires direct touching, but if the object he's touching has something inside, the inner objects would also be affected to a lesser extent, to 'adapt' to the outermost object's constantly changing physical state.

Combat Behavior:  Being weak physically, in Hunting standards, when it comes to combat, he stays away from close combat against larger opponents, preferring mid-to-long-range combat, staying not too close, but not too far from the fight. He's also below average in the stamina department, leading to him having to conserve stamina while fighting, which could limit his combat proficiency. Kin fights smart, using any and every advantage at his disposal. If put in a close combat situation, he will redirect any fists or kicks, turn other people's attacks against them, use his Semblance to disorient enemies and cause muscle spasms, and use enemies as springboards to take Grimm out. Otherwise, he stays a small distance away, stabbing and slashing with Shibuki, or blowing Grmm into little bits with Shibuki's rifle form. He wastes no movements, going in, quickly killing a Grimm, and moving on before the Grimm can land a hit on him.

WEAPON

Name: Shibuki

Primary Form: An azure-colored naginata with a tidal wave pattern running down the shaft. It has a two-foot long, inch-wide shaft, and it's blade is 15 inches long and imbued with Earth and Water Dust, making it extremely tough and capable of creating large torrents of water that, when stabbed into the ground or walls, can destabilize the enviroment from the sheer pressure. By combining both types of Dust, he can create small amounts of mud to lob at people's faces to distract them. On the other end is a bronzed counterweight that also packs a mean punch if someone was hit by it. Primarily used for slashing, stabbing, killing, and possibly acting as a spit roast.

Secondary Form: A nine-sectioned whip where all the nine sections are 'chained together' by a small amount of miniscule string that allows the nine sections to bend in any direction. The string is imbued with Earth Dust so it won't easily break, and Water Dust to allow it to keep it's flexibility. The last of the nine sections is the naginata's blade.

Tertiary Form: A bayoneted semi-automatic Rifle that fires any kind of Dust rounds up to 30 feet away. Not really much else to say.

Dust Functions: Other than firing Dust rounds in it's rifle form, it has no other Dust function, other than a Water and Earth Dust imbued blade, and Water Dust imbued string in it's nine sectioned whip form

History: Built in the Kin's third year of Signal, it is a naginata that houses both a nine-sectioned whip form and a bayoneted semi-automatic rifle form, a rare three-formed weapon, with Kin having used Dust enhanced string to hold the nine seperate parts together, leaving enough room to install firing mechanisms within the space. It has been perfected and upgraded over time, to a form most suitable for him and him alone. The hunting rifle can store up to 15 Dust rounds per magazine, and the whip length is 4 feet. The naginata form is 3 feet and three inches long

Functions: When shifting into it's nine-sectioned whip form, the naginata divided into nine parts, each with mostly-closed ends except for a miniscule thread string imbued with Earth Dust that makes the string more durable, strengthening the string to that of fresh spider silk. When shifting into it's rifle form, a fourth of the non-bladed end of the naginata shifts 30 degrees down, and the blade moves down, becoming a large bayonet. A trigger appears from the angle of the 'gun handle' and the 'barrel', and a a space opens up near the trigger for the magazine, while on the other end, a hold opens up, revealing the muzzle. 

WEAPON

Name: None (Though others call it 'Rockcutter')

Primary Form: A primitive bronze knife, with no other functions. It's only notable features are it's durability and it's slighty above average blade. Acts as a backup weapon should Kin lose Shibuki

Secondary Form: None

Tertiary Form: None

Dust Functions: Earth Dust imbued to prolong it, and make sure it wouldn't break or rust. Not much other than that.

History: The knife Kin used to create footholds for himself when he climbed the cliff back to Hisuio. A memento for him, and doubles as a concealed backup weapon.
