It was the beginning of the year at Beacon and the airships have just started arriving at the cliffs. Orchid Lovette, one of these new students had decided to take an early ship, which her employer had insisted paying for, and arrived an hour early. After spending the time getting acquainted and learning the lay of the school, her weapon slung behind her back the whole time, she headed back to where the airships were arriving. It was time to make some new friends! Hopefully!

Strolling out of the airship, Anna had her large bag slinged around her while she held a book with one hand and read it with the other. Suddenly realizing she had a Schedule to keep to, she took out her scroll with her reading hand and flicked it open before covering the screen.

Oh. That much time left, huh?

She decided that it was good enough. Using the second stage of her semblance for a split second, she spotted a large tree and headed towards it while continuing her read, planning to take advantage of the shade.

Seth arrived into Vale by himself and with little time to prepare or get ready he immediately boarded the airship to Beacon, though he was on one of the later ones. Sitting alone on the airship, very few people approached him as he gave off an air of annoyance. Soon as the airships landed he made a rush to get off the airship. He always hated transport and how restricting they felt. Being one of the first ones to get off, he was greeted by a group of students that had gotten off the previous airships and the vast expanse of the school. Though, instantly he noticed a girl with bright pink hair split off from the group, though walking to rejoin it. Knowing he wouldn't be able to go it alone, since he would be forced to get paired up with a team eventually Seth decided it was at least worth a shot trying to make some friends. Though, only some-one who stood out as much as her would be a worty match, he thought. Moving through the crowds was a slight challenge due to his small stature and annoyingly large weapon on his back, though he managed and ended up face to face with the girl.

"Hey, how you doing? The name's Seth." He introduced himself, offering a hand to shake.

[Blaine]

A ship arrived at Beacon, it didn't look anything like the one's coming from Vale. It had a certain military style to it, but that didn't throw people off as most Valeians knew exactly who was on that ship. Blaine didn't know whether to prepare for combat or fan girls. Being known by everyone that has ever turned on a TV had both it's perks and annoyances. He had looked at Beacon maps during the flight and opened some studying books, albeit briefly. What he lacked in skill, experience and knowledge; he made up for it in brute strength, he figured that'd be enough.

As his airship landed he looked out the window. He saw at least two other ships landing, carrying other students, some of which would be his teammates for his time at Beacon. While most of the crowd WAS heading to Beacon, a large portion just stopped in their tracks as they realized who's ship that was.

He let out a long-drawn sigh, as the airship doors opened and he stepped into the light, the first of squeals were audible. 'Good morning, Beacon!' He shouted as his enthusiastic self that everyone had come to love, but deep down he prayed that he would be able to not stand out too much just because his face was in a few movies and magazines. 'Sorry, people! No autographs today! Maybe later!' He smiled as he walked past the crowd, feeling his head ringing from the screaming around him, at least the soldiers that accompanied him kept the masses from just trampling him.

"Now where exactly are we supposed to go again?" He thought to himself.

Orchid looked at Seth, slightly surprised and shook his hand. "Orchid Lovette. It's a pleasure to meet you."

"Orchid Lovette. It's a pleasure to meet you."

Seth heard the commotion churning up behind him and glanced around to see another ship had landed. For whatever reason there was a big stir over one of the people disembarking. Seth shrugged and turned his attention back to Orchid. "Trust me, the pleasure is all mine Orchid. I'm kinda new here, so I hope it's not much trouble to ask for you to show me around? Unless you had previous arrangements, of course."

[Blaine]

His enhanced hearing combined with the commotion caused his head to ring, he was hoping he would find some people that wouldn't be future stalkers. There appeared to be only a handful of those people. The crowd stopped following him as he passed the last few people. He felt the eyes on his back and was hoping this situation would no longer be present once the school year actually started...As if...He knew that was just wishful thinking. He spotted a girl that seemed to not give at all about the commotion, sitting under a tree reading a book. A bookworm, huh?...might as well give it a go He walked in her direction, giving a quick glance backwards to make sure nobody was actually following, then raised his left arm and yelled: "Hey, girl with the book!" He moved his hand left and right slightly in an attempt to make a wave, albeit quite awkwardly.

"Hm? Sure, I'll show you around!" She noticed Blaine, someone she's seen on TV once or twice, but continued to focus on Seth, the person right in front of her. As she turned for the long walk to the front building of the school, she decided to strike up conversation. "So Seth. Would you like to tell me a little bit about yourself?"

Anna's head popped up - she'd been facing straight ahead, not towards her book. 'Girl with the book'? That was a new one. Briefly flashing her semblance, she spotted what seemed like a casually dressed, white and black haired Faunus waving as he made his way over.

Wait, what? He was making his way over? The hell? Why?

She vaguely acknowledged him, taking her reading hand off her book to reply with the shyest wave ever before placing it right back on the page.

"So Seth. Would you like to tell me a little bit about yourself?"

"Hm?" Seth tiled his head in response. "Well, I came from a group of desert wandering merchants, this is my first real contact with civilization and I am constantly told I look like a girl." He rattled off, pulling the most sarcastic tone he could. After chuckling to himself a little while, he continued. "Though, I am also told that sarcasm is my main means of communication. So, there's that." He smirked condescendinly.

[Blaine]

"Reading anything interesting?" He kept up his smirk for most of his walk before finally ending up next to her. "I'd introduce myself, but I figure you already know who I am." He boasted cheerfully. While over the top fangirling has always thrown him off, hearing people whisper his name has always give him some sense of accomplishment.

Orchid blinked and tilted her head to the side as they walked. "So um, was that just sarcasm right there?"

Anna briefly flashed her semblance at the boy's words, turning her head towards him - just a bit. She... thought she'd seen him? Where, though?

Ah, yes, that was it. "I think I glanced you on the news, once. Don't know the name. And yes, the book is quite interesting." On that note, she failed to provide any sort of additional info.

"So um, was that just sarcasm right there?"

"You seem smart enough, I'll let you figure that out. So, you gonna give me the summary of your life now, or is story-time over?" Seth smirked, his grin only widening.
