A brisk wind blew outside the airfield the sun shown through thick grey clouds, alongside the sound of the wind was two airships being readied for take off. It was hard to make out from a distance but a group of eight people stood out side armed to the teeth and ready for anything that would be thrown their way... at least that's what they hoped.
Kale stood at the open door of one of the transport ship and called everyone over, once they gathered around she said loud enough for all of them to hear "Ok we're all here and now that I know none of this will be leaked off messages, I can tell you what we are looking for and why this is so dangerous, we are searching for the t17, in other words a killing robot gone wrong and has since killed people including one of my friends, Azrail. I have no idea of its intelligence or weaponry, that's part of what we need to find out were starting in some of the smaller villages to investigate any disruptions a lot of them probably just Grimm or raiders but we just need to see if it has left the city, if you have any questions ask Obadia or myself now let's roll.", with that she got on the airship with her team while Obadia did the same.

Having taken all the local tours and things regular tourists do, Miziren figured it was time to see what Vale had to offer in regards to the local mission boards. It was by sheer luck he’d picked up on the vague request, and took it as a sign that he should work on his field experience in the unknown. Stocking up on dust of all kinds, Miziren made his way to the designated location in the airfield. He didn’t show it outwardly, but he was comforted that Solar was there with him. Knowing somebody was a blessing in and of itself. Casually examining the others while Kale gave them their mission statement, Miziren turned the information over and over in his mind.
‘t17, a killing robot hmm? Wonder if that was Vale’s attempt to compete with Atlas…’ Miziren pondered. ‘A few mature looking student types…those two though, they look pretty serious. Huntsman and huntress? Professional mercenaries? Hard to tell either way, considering the delivery of mission request. Maybe I could stand to learn something here?’ Once Kale had finished speaking and the teams were splitting to their designated airships, Miziren looked to the one named Obadia. “You’re the leader of team two, yes? I must know…what are our mission parameters? Pure reconnaissance, search and destroy, or capture? Secondly, what details can you provide us regarding the t17? According to Team One’s leader, we know nothing of its capabilities, but surely there is some information regarding its origin, appearance, or why it is malfunctioning.” Miziren looked to A.C.D.C, his blank expression betraying no emotions as he visually inspected it from afar. ‘I wonder what that’s all about? Is Obadia here some kind of robotics specialist? That could come in handy…’

Solar loved a good mystery, and even more so discovering said mystery. As usual Solar ignored the warning that mentioned more experienced Hunters/Huntress were recommended, taking that more as a challenge. Thirsty for information Solar paid attention for once to the one in charge, upon hearing they were going to be hunting a rogue robot her natural curiosity exploded. "Wow! We're hunting a killer robot!? Cool!Does it have giant guns for hands!? It's probably got missiles right!? Oh It probably transforms into like a tank right!? Oh oh! Or maybe it can fly! Rocket boosters right!? *GASP* Please tell me it has laser beams!!"

In a bout of boredom Serin had taken a job that was up on a job board,sure it was marked to be for more experienced people but really what was the difference between a novice and a pro? At the time it seemed like pretty good logic but now it didn't seem as solid considering what he was up against, especially considering the lack of information that was given in the briefing. The others looked much more professional and ready to kick a robot gone wrong than he did so hopefully they can save his ass if something happens, hopefully it happens organically. 'Can't distract myself with that I need to come up with possible counters to it, lighting dust might be a good bet?' While mulling over potential attacks or counters to it he got brought back into the world by a over enthusiastic voice"Wow! We're hunting a killer robot!? Cool!Does it have giant guns for hands!? It's probably got missiles right!? Oh It probably transforms into like a tank right!? Oh oh! Or maybe it can fly! Rocket boosters right!? *GASP* Please tell me it has laser beams!!"
"Gun arms seem like the most realistic scenario and it might have already used up its missile if it had any, depends how long its been out or if it's faced a threat big enough to use missiles against.Boosters seem unlike considering the amount of fuel needed too. However, lasers seem like a good bet along with the gun arms."He said in response to the girl. "Unless they were going for cool factor as well,if they took that into consideration there could be a massively oversized sword as well, or a flamethrower. That'd be neat.'

Obadia looked back at his team and shook his head swearing that Kale would pay for putting him on babysitter duty, but instead of voicing what he thought he turned to them and said "Listen we know next to nothing about t17 other then it has killed people and would rather not be found, so I'm going to tell you this you will follow instructions and stay close unless you think death is a fun thing.", turning back around he talked to the pilot only to be met with the metal hand of A.C.D.C. smacking him.

Miziren’s brow rose what the other two started speaking, but his attention otherwise remained on Obadia. It took him a few moments to turn his words over in his head, but when he did he started to think they were going to be looking for a needle in a stack of needles. "You know it has killed people, but you don't know when the deaths occurred, how they occurred, and have no evidence of the involvement of the supposed killer? If we are going to follow instructions blindly without you giving us anything to work with, then what good are those instructions in the first place?" Miziren shook his head and moved into the aircraft. He took some time to collect himself, getting his thoughts together in a less heated fashion. It wasn't that his voice or his mannerisms really displayed any dismay, but his words said more than enough. "So what are our first set of instructions?"

"Ooh! what about a flaming sword!" She said in reply to the stranger who answered her question. She blinked at Serin a few times before realizing she didn't know who her last team member was "Hi! I'm Solar!" she happily introduced herself as she also entered the aircraft following Miziren.

"I'm Serin, nice to meet you Solar!" He said while boarding the aircraft behind her. Once on Serin plopped down onto a nearby chair before releasing his current train of thought."It makes no sense we don't know anything, not even any wounds on the person? Even if they were found as just ash that's way more than we have now. I mean if you have a plan I am down to follow it and all. But yeah, we have to know 'something'. How do we even know it's a robot? What if it's a Grim?"

After telling the pilot where they where headed he answered as many question as he could "As far as knowing its a robot and not Grimm, Kale's friend confronted it in Vale had that been a Grimm it wouldn't have disappeared without being killed, also if it had been Grimm the school would be issuing the mission not Kale also the police wouldn't have given up as easily as they did.", he took a second to let that sink in and to give the pilot the time needed to take off before continuing "And to address your first issue the villages we will be going to are just a precaution to make sure it's still in Vale and to possibly find out about t17s origins or anything it is capable of."
Sitting down next to A.C.D.C. Obadia sighed "As for a plan, well if by chance we find it on accident then we do NOT engage we watch, listen, and learn about it, otherwise our plan is to say that you three are shadowing me on a few missions, I may not be a full huntsmen but I'm probably your best chance at staying alive since you're all first years on a mission advertised for higher up class or full fledged huntsmen. I'm going to tell you now, I don't like dealing with underclassmen that often but sometimes you firsties surprise me AND I have often been called 'blunt, rude, and sometime an ass' but that's just how I am you don't have to like me but you will have to deal with it.", he pulled out GruntsBane and started to disassemble and clean the parts and before long half the weapon had been taken apart.

Miziren felt that the Obadia fellow talked too much, irritated at the extreme lack of information, and that perhaps his robotic companion would be better suited for keeping company. He didn't care for the excess descriptions of the third year's opinions on matters, and thusly moved towards an open and clear area of the airship, finding himself a seat. "I would very much like to study the topography of the area. If you require nothing of us until we make landing, then this is what I will be doing."

Solar had hoped to get better acquainted with her new friend but found him to be another smart savvy type like Miziren seeing as he was much more interested in getting more information about the mission. Though Solar felt she should be doing the same she summed up the mission to herself as 'look for the cool robot but no touch' so she absorbed herself in the next thing that grabbed her interest, the robot A.C.D.C. She took a seat next to the robot and stared at it with glowing eyes, and occasionally poked at it.

"Alright fair enough, you're the boss so I guess we gotta follow the rules."With that Serin sat back and closed his eyes hoping to get some sleep on the way to the village since there wasn't much more he could do since Solar walked over to A.C.D.C, the boss was cleaning his weapon, and the last dude was studying the maps. He started drifting off before his inner monolog forced him to do something more productive, today that was working on his arm. But since he was up he also wanted to talk to the closest person who at the moment was the guy with the map. Walking over to him and examining the map over his shoulder he asked "Anything of interest? Im Serin by the way."

As he worked Obadia mumbled keeping a mental list of parts order and time, even though he had memorized it years ago, with his attention on his work he didn't care what the others did. As Obadia worked A.C.D.C. looked over at Solar as she poked him and asked "Can I help you miss Solar?"

Miziren was on the floor of the airship, his legs crossed and the map laid out before him, along with a number of other smaller maps and photographs. He'd taken the liberty to download as much information as he could about Vale into his scroll before arriving, and had that out on the map as well as he marked different locations with different coloured markers. When the other first year came over, Miziren continued with his studies as he replied.
"Nothing of note pops out immediately, though it comes to my mind that should the assumed robot be of typical Altesian construction, it would stick out in these areas like a sore thumb. The only real saving grace is the cover of forest canopies from airship observation. We can draw to diverging conclusions from this; either we are dealing with an artificial intelligence with advanced stealth protocols, whether it be through camouflage technology, fieldcraft, or a combination of both, or we are dealing with a person rather than a robot. A human or faunus would more readily blend in with the local populations. There are numerous cave systems around the areas I highlighted in yellow, which would be detrimental for living persons considering the presence of grimm. A.I. however, wouldn't have much of the same problems..."
Miziren shrugged. "Not really much more to go on than we already have." For the first time since he started speaking, Miziren turned to look up at Serin. "Beacon student, right?"

Solar didn't expect the robot to speak so she was completely surprised when her discovery started talking to her. "AAh! you can talk! Cool!Sooo what does a robot do for fun?What do you eat? Ooh! What kind of weapons do you have? Ooh! Ooh! Can you transform or fly? Do you have a flaming sword!?"

"Yup first year, Atlas born and raised though.Where you from? I'd guess Shade. " Serin said examining the maps, it really wasn't anything to go off of, assuming that the leader was correct about it being a robot would help in tracking it down. "You know, if it's a robot it would need to charge right? It can't run forever right? Unless it has a built-in power plant, but then it would need to refill its water tank probably. Maybe we could start looking around rivers first, what do you think? "He said looking forward at the map still, this guy seemed pretty smart and logical so maybe together they could get some sort of plan before they landed since the boss didn't have any.

A.C.D.C. seemed to chuckle at the questions but did so without interrupting her train of thought, after she was done though he said "Well as far as fun we don't really have emotions other then enjoying what we were programmed for, for instance I enjoy combat and recording medical and scientific data, also robots don't eat. As for weapons I don't transform but you got close with the sword only it isn't flaming, but I do have two pistols."
