The Vale Region / Re: The Lion's Blade[Plot][Closed]
« on: August 23, 2017, 01:53:12 AM »
The swarm of Creeps fell one after another under the combined assault from Akeldama and Fallow. There were 7 left, but they had halted their charge and were now sprinting away at high speed, back the way they came.

A short distance away Graham stood near his most recent kill as it slowly began its disintegration process. And not too far away from him was Airi, riding a giant Ursa. The situation looked a little precarious. She was able to avoid several of the massive grimm's overhead grabs, but after six or seven attempts at grabbing her, the Ursa tried something different. It spun around half a turn, throwing itself off balance as it did, and landing on its back. The huge spikes that Airi was using to stand on were pointy and numerous. Getting caught underneath would be quite awful. The momentum the Ursa had was enough to allow it to continue rolling, however, and it was already on all fours, looking to face Airi head on once again.

Overhead, the Air Bus loomed, casting no shadow on the battlefield due to the sun being so low on the horizon still. Kirkka was still watching from the window calmly. Her eyes were fixated on the fleeing Creeps, however.

Overall, the battle was a turning out a little different than one might usually expect. The Grimm were being even more aggressive than average. While they tend to do nothing but seek to destroy, these ones ran like their butts were on fire.

As the dust cleared, more than a few of the swarm of Creeps survived Fallow's attack. There were 15 of them still running at full speed toward both Fallow and Akeldama. Two more were recovering from the blast, and it looks like three did not survive. The distance Fallow gained from knocking himself back gave him a few extra moments, but being on the ground meant extra time spent. Standing up is time-consuming!

The massive Ursa caught up to Airi a little sooner than she anticipated. It did not seem to pay any attention to the time remnants left Airi was leaving behind. With one of its claws, it swept at her legs to bring her off balance while its right fore leg came downward, its claws fully extended as it attempted to crush her into the ground.

Graham and the smaller Ursa met rapidly, and the Ursa swiped with both of its fore legs from opposing directions, an attempt to grab Graham and impale him on its lengthy claws.

CHARACTER

Name: Setsuna Antiqua

Age: 18

Species and Gender: Human Male

Symbol:  Two neon green O's overlapping together forming a infinity sign with a black background
[spoiler=image]http://previews.123rf.com/images/vlastas/vlastas1409/vlastas140900044/31899003-Green-infinity-symbol-on-the-black-background-Stock-Vector.jpg

Occupation: First year Beacon Academy student

Appearance: Setsuna is 175 cm, or 5'7" with a somewhat built frame. He has very dark grey eyes, often mistaken for ink-black, a small, sharp nose and relatively thin lips which are almost always in a neutral state. He is slightly tanned and has short, spiky black hair which reaches halfway down his neck. There is a short lock of hair down Setsuna's right side which is dyed juniper green. Along the left side of his body are faded scars from a fight with an Alpha Beowolf, the marks of which never truly disappeared. His shoulders are flat but slightly hunched over from the weight of his weapons.

Apart from the school uniform, Setsuna wears a white formal shirt with neon green markings, over which he wears a long-sleeved dark blue overcoat which ends just above his waist. He also has dark grey, faded and slightly battered loose jeans with a bandolier where normal pockets would be, holding up to 5 clips on each bandolier for his weapon. He also has a grey camouflage jumper which he sometimes wears. On his back, he has an exo-skeleton of sorts, consisting of a mechanical arm extending from the center of his back to his left shoulder, used for holding his shield. This is not concealed beneath his shirt, and can sometimes unbalance him due to it's weight.

While on missions, Setsuna also carries a small backpack containing food, water, Dust, and a small repair kit for emergency repairs. He is fond of keeping his weapons in impeccable state, and thus also brings a cleaning kit, whetstone and lubricant oil for that purpose.

History: Setsuna, unlike others, has had a relatively comfortable and peaceful life living in Patch. Early on, Setsuna had already shown his mother's traits of being a likeable person, friendly and polite, and his father's traits of being a Huntsman, as well as an uncanny habit of naming anything he liked/owned. As a young child, Setsuna was engrossed with tales of chivalry and bravery that knights of yore exhibited, and Setsuna endeavoured to do the same, protecting the innocent and deliver justice with the sharp end of a sword. To that end, Setsuna enlisted with Signal Academy.

As Signal Academy required it's students to do, Setsuna forged his own weapons along with the rest of his class, designing a basic sword and shield, in line with the "knight" theme that he strived for. The sword and shield he named Dischord and Harmony respectively, as his sword would "sow dischord among his enemies" and his shield would "bring harmony to the land of the honored". These were the weapons he used throughout his time at Signal.

Within his time at Signal, he also designed his own extra gear, eventually coming up with his mechanical exo-skeleton arm for better usage of his own weapons, becoming a self-reliant student. This did not go unnoticed by Signal's teachers, and he was selected among 4 people to embark on a mission not far from Signal, as a live combat test/teambuilding session. Their objective was to prove to the instructors their capability to eliminate a pack of Beowolves.

The mission went as planned, with the team not having much trouble, until a unexpected Alpha Beowolf showed up, likely attracted by the sounds of combat and the student's emotions. Only being students, this fight did not go as well as the previous, partly due to the fact that they already had to fight a pack of Grimm. In the end, the Alpha Beowolf went down after Setsuna drew it's attention, took the brunt of the hits and one of his teammates beheaded the thing. However, it did not go without incident. He had large gashes on both his body and shield from over-usage of his aura, and fainted from fatigue and his injuries soon after.

Upon waking in the hospital, Setsuna was congratulated on passing the test, and given a teacher's recommendation to
join Beacon Academy, which he gladly accepted after healing up in the medical ward. However, his shield had to be reforged due to the damage it took during the fight. This was not a problem as the school provided Setsuna with any material he needed, as well as the assistance of a local smith. Thus, the current Dischord and Harmony was born. Armed with his new gear and the recommendation, Setsuna graduated from Signal with flying colors and entered Beacon with a unyielding will to uphold his creeds.

Personality: Setsuna is a open-hearted, friendly and polite person, making most everyone take a liking to him, given time. He has shown a caring personality to those he trusts, as well as observing proper courtesies with nary a complaint. He is relatively social, but will not actively engage people in talk unless there is a certain reason, often preferring to listen and learn. However, this isn't the case when talking to his friends, as he opens up to people he trusts. Setsuna has shown a interest in reading, especially in mechanics, to further improve Dischord and Harmony. When under stress, which is not often, he shrugs it aside and doesn't let it bother him. He does not feel any different toward Faunus, and treats them like he treats every other person: cheerful and uplifting.

In battle, he makes an attempt to keep an eye out for his teammates, ready to protect them from harm and even take the hit for them if necessary. He is always ready to trade his own safety for the protection of others, and if he fails to do so, he normally berates himself mentally for not being there on time for his friends, and not upholding his creed.

When fighting Grimm that pose a challenge, he has a tendency to honour those who fought bravely with a line: "requiescat in pace", which means "rest in peace".

Aura and Semblance: Setsuna's Aura glows neon green, and while not particularly powerful or much help in terms of boosted strength, he has a relatively large Aura pool to draw from to use his Semblance. He is capable of using his aura to deflect weak attacks, but has not unlocked the full potential of that skill yet. When he uses his sword's buster mode, the aura extends to cover the blade itself and makes it glow. The strength of the glow varies with the amount of Aura Setsuna has.

His Semblance, the so-called "Quantum System" grants Setsuna the benefits of increased movement and reaction speed, making Setsuna's entire body and weapons glow a pink-reddish hue instead of the normal neon green, as well as leaving afterimages wherever he moves, although the afterimages are just a visual effect. It actually affects Setsuna negatively as opponents can see where he is moving. This allows him to react and move around fast enough to rival Speed glyphs, able to cut incoming projectiles in half or even quarters to avoid harm, or simply move around really fast. His sword strikes are much faster with less time in between, but there is no change in velocity or base damage.

However, this does not slow or quicken time for either Setsuna or his opponent. If he takes a heavy blow during the duration of his Semblance, it will forcibly end and leave him incapable of reactivating his semblance for a short duration. An aftereffect of the Semblance is that when it ends, no matter the duration it was active for, Setsuna will be visibly tired, and thus hit less hard, move slower and react slower than usual for around 30 seconds. He can keep this semblance up for about a minute or so, even under strain or pressure. This Semblance can be used for up to 3 times in a row, with a minute of "cooldown", but if he goes over 3 times, the reaction and speed is significantly slower.

Combat Behavior: Setsuna's combat behavior is similar to the way he treats others: fair and square. He follows rules of chivalry like the knights of old, albeit with several technical alterations, only playing unorthodox when his opponent does. He prefers a balanced approach to most enemies, showing little weakness and not making many risky decisions, but will take an opportunity to strike if one presents itself. When using his semblance, however, he assumes a more flighty approach to fighting, striking and retreating continuously, tiring out his opponent.

Due to Dischord's long range for a sword, Setsuna can safely engage spear-users, but due to the lack of ranged options at his disposal (Dischord's pistol form and Harmony's Sword Bits), he is vulnerable to long-range weapons, especially heavy-hitting rockets and grenades, as Harmony was designed for swordfights and not explosions. However, this deficit can be somewhat negated by his "Quantum System" semblance, allowing him to close the distance between his foes incredibly quickly.

WEAPONS

Name: Dischord and Harmony

Primary Weapon: Dischord is not your average longsword by any means. The blade consists of a normal longsword handle and an enlarged hilt on a swivelling stand, painted in dark blue. The neon-green blade is embedded in a grey "holster" of sorts, and the whole blade measures around 47 inches, or 4 feet. Attached to the hilt are two blue edgeguards, one longer than the other and both strangely angled downwards to protect the user's hand. When not in use, the neon-green blade retracts into the "holster", leaving only the handle and the hilt stored at Setsuna's waist.

Simplified: Longsword with a green blade and an enlarged hilt.

Secondary Form: When Dischord is in it's pistol form, the blade and the base turns sideways, the handle angles downward slightly and the two edgeguards spread out, one to act as a aiming sight and the other to act as a handguard. Two slots open in the base of the hilt to expose barrels and can fire 9mm rounds, not very powerful but enough to deter weaker Grimm. From a full cartridge, Dischord can fire 10 shots from both barrels before requiring a reload.

Simplified: Blade turns sideways and exposes two barrels. Handle turns into gun handle.

Secondary Weapon: Harmony is Setsuna's shield. It is shaped like a elongated hexagon, the length of which is from Setsuna's hand up to near his shoulder, with layers of prussian blue and white armor, with slots around the side. When not in use, Harmony is kept at Setsuna's left side, mounted upon his backpack's mechanical arm, capable of rotating Harmony to a more defensive position in front of Setsuna's elbow, or a less cumbersome position behind Setsuna's shoulder. Harmony can also be detached from the arm and mounted upon Setsuna's left arm, to act as a more traditional shield.

The main usage of Harmony, apart from the obvious "defense", is its six green Sword Bits, mounted around Harmony. The Sword Bits can detach from Harmony, expanding from the slots around Harmony, or can simply fan out to create a larger surface area, and can combine with Dischord to create a buster sword. In this form, Dischord's handle extends to make a dual-handed greatsword. The Sword Bits can also act as extra swords for Setsuna to use, but are merely a backup option.

Simplified: Shield with extra swords attached. Swords can be used to create a buster sword.

History: The original design of Dischord and Harmony was a simple sword and shield. However, as time progressed, in their simplicity, they just weren't enough. They received a big upgrade after Setsuna's mission as he recognised the need for heavier-hitting weapons.

Tertiary Weapon

Name: Equilibrium

Primary Form: Equilibrium is a upgrade to Setsuna's arsenal, taking the appearance of a 50-inch-long buster sword, which can double as a massive shield. It is shaped similarly to a isoceles triangle with a handle on the bottom, and is holstered at Setsuna's right shoulder, opposite Harmony, on an new mechanical extension of the original exo-skeleton. When holstered, it can swing to the front and back, similar to Harmony when mounted on the arm. The sword is mostly blue, with white metallic components and neon green blades, similar to the colour scheme of Harmony and Dischord. Attached to the sides and surface of the sword/shield are 3 new sword bits that double as daggers, with the white handles on the side and bottom of the blade acting as secondary grips for easier wielding. Due to it's massive weight, Setsuna cannot wield, or even holster this weapon for long, and stabs it in the ground when not in combat usage.

Equilibrium fills the role of both a buster sword and a shield, but it's massive weight makes it incredibly cumbersome for a sword. However, it's length dwarfs Dischord's, and as such, is a better option against bigger enemies as it packs a much bigger punch. In contrast, however, Setsuna simply cannot move around as much due to the blade's massive length and weight, having to hold the sword in both hands and swinging it like a club.

Similarly, Equilibrium also serves as a shield better than Harmony, due to it's larger size and durability, but is also harder to move around with. When using Equilibrium as a shield, Setsuna likes to simply stab the blade-end into the ground and take cover behind it, or if in combat, keep it on his exo-skeleton arm and rotate it forward. The whole construct is made of a combination of steel, nano-lamininated armor and Kevlar plates, resulting in a incredibly resilient, if very heavy, shield.

Secondary Form: Equilibrium splits in half to form a sword and shield, roughly halfway down the side. The bladed section of Equilibrium ejects from the top, more shielded section from the two sword bits down,  and a handle extends from the new section. Similarly, the shield section is held like a normal shield, utilising the bottom sword bit as a shield handle. In this form, Equilibrium is easier to wield and move around with but loses the power and length of the full blade. When using Equilibrium in this form, Setsuna resembles a Greek gladiator.

History: Forged in Beacon when even Dischord and Harmony weren't enough for the job, Equilibrium solidifies Setsuna's position as an all-round fighter as well as defender. This particular weapon was inspired by his team, and made by his own hands, representing the balance between each weapon and balancing both aspects of Dischord and Harmony into one entity, thus the name of "Equilibrium".

Kaali drew her Better Half immediately and broke into a run down the road. A moment after, her body began to radiate jade lightning and her pace increased. The combination of the open path she was on with her enhanced speed means she should be able to get ahead of the pair of griffins and hopefully the person fleeing. If she can, she will signal the person to come toward her so she can cut some Griffins up. That's the plan, anyway. The road was looking pretty clear so far, but those griffins were moving quite fast, considering how much the trees were probably slowing them down.

"I don't really have much to help you all out aside from cutting down the enemy." Kaali spoke meekly as she thought about the various explanations given. As they walked, she continued, "I suppose I would specialize in fighting the big bads of a pack. I like going to the boss right away." She focused her attention on her new temporarily allies as she gave them another look over, combining their explanations of abilities and skills with their appearances.

Kirkka was a little bummed that the four were all very motivated to jump out of a plane. She didn't even get to boot anyone out! Next time, she hoped.

Dismissing that thought, she sealed the hatch and kept watch through the windows as the Air Bus circled the landing site slowly.

The four students crashed down upon the pack of Grimm, inflicting multiple casualties instantly. Several of the creatures were stunned by some of their explosive attacks but were recovering quickly.

Akel stood ready to fight the several beowolves surrounding her. Two of them were caught up in the flames but managed to remember the stop, drop and roll they were taught in Grimm Academy. They looked pretty singed and already weak, but they still had claws. There were only three of them focused on Akel, but they all leaped in at once, intent on catching her by surrounding her.

Not too far away, Airi blasted the particularly large Ursa and one smaller one away from her, sending them both tumbling. The large one recovered nearly instantly and was already charging to counter attack with a powerful swipe. On the ground, this Ursa was huge. Possibly the largest you've ever seen. His bone armor protected a significant amount of his body, with spikes protruding out from his back, some of them nearing three feet in length. It was powerful looking as well. The strength behind its upcoming attack would be brutal. [Protection from Instant Kill]

The second Ursa, a normal sized one, had recovered slightly later but was beginning to move toward Graham. Alongside the beast was two Creeps, charging at the same target. Creeps were weak but fast, relying on powerful headbutts and quick claw strikes to follow up. The creeps were nearly upon Graham as they prepared to boop him with the hardened bone on their heads.

The remains of several Grimm smoldered all around Fallow, their smoke mixing with the smoke from the explosion that crushed them. The blast was quite loud, but the sound over it was trumped by the screeching that was heard just moments afterward. In the distance under a small patch of trees, a large pack of Creeps popped out of the ground and were charging at Fallow. Nearly twenty in total. They were still a fair distance out, but were closing very fast and were fairly well spread out. Taking them all out at once would be challenging but not impossible. The real issue is the time limit. There's barely enough time to get one attack off before they reach Fallow.

Kirkka stood behind one window in the Air Bus and simply raised her eyebrow at the sudden appearance of the additional Creeps.

My first experience roleplaying was on some website I found that I can't even remember the name of. It was an original fantasy setting and it had a map. Clicking on a location on the map would "go" to that location, and there would be a chat room where everyone at the location could talk. Then you could navigate to nearby zones/areas/places/buildings, and the chat room would change to that area. It was very neat and very fun, but I had no idea what I was doing.

A major part of my RP past was in Neverwinter Nights, a PC video game based on D&D. Very good game, 10/10. You could play online, and there were tons of RP servers. I played on one called Astoria, an original D&D world, as... a 12-year-old "human" kid. Since you cannot control height in the game, I made my character a halfling and told everyone I was a human. After several years of playing, I asked the GMs to change my character data to look like a human, and they did and it was awesome. My character was the strongest monk(played more like a fighter/brawler. Limited "spiritual" training, and such) on the server but was only level 9. I helped slay Skrag, an ancient red dragon that attacked the main city of Astoria. I was one of the "core" people from Astoria. There were several core groups as the server was fairly large. There was a vampire/drow populous that caused a ruckus from time to time, and then there was an elven city which had a bunch of races, but mostly elves. People tended to stay in their areas mostly because they knew lots of people there. The coastal city of Astoria was my character's home.

Then I found Warcraft 3 and never RPed in an online game again because I was too busy killin' shit. Mostly. In the last 12 years, any online RP I've done has been limited to one-off random events. I tried leveling a character on an RP server in WoW a long time ago but just wasn't into it because it was difficult to make RP the main attraction.

That said, I do play tabletop games, and I have not played in over a year now, but I my favorite one is Savage Worlds. I am very well versed in Pathfinder, D&D 3, 3.5, 4, and 5.

Oh, and as far as forum based RP goes, this website is the first time I've ever done anything like it, aside from that chatroom based website I mentioned.

With the briefing out of the way and the students not having any more specific questions, Kirkka returned to the cockpit for the moment.

Just a few short minutes later, the first rays of sunlight reached across the land below them, illuminating the vast plainlands they were passing over. Their speed had dropped considerably, and before long they were making a large turn. Back on the intercoms, Kirkka spoke up once more. "We're gonna circle the town once at a safe distance. Get a good look of the layout. After that, we'll hit the landing zone to the north."

Slowly, the Air Bus approached the town which had become plainly visible out of the left windows, thanks to the slow banking turn the pilot was making. Petros was an ancient city. It looked something of a battlefield, due to the sheer around of craters and general damage that could be seen. Something to be expected considering students regularly come here for Grimm purification. The town was nearly a mile wide, with the buildings becoming less dense at the outer edges. A wall surrounded the place, with two gates that led northward and southwestward. Plenty of holes were visible in the wall, makings its effectiveness questionable in this day and age. Stone foundations were all that remained of almost every structure, though a few of them managed to maintain a support column, or perhaps a wall or two. The foundations would make for good cover, at least.

It was difficult to get specifics of the layout of the town from this altitude. But one thing that was plainly noticeable was the amount of Grimm. A reasonable estimate put the count to maybe 100 on the ground, then a few swarms of small Nevermores fluttered around. Hard to say how many could be hiding, as well. No sight of the church building either. Each "building" is just too lacking in detail.

As the Bus finished its counterclockwise circle, it slowly to nearly a halt and began a vertical descent. The clearing below you was less of a clearing and more of the beginning to the plains that were just flown over, but there was a few trees and debris on the ground that could provide some cover and protection. As the Bus got closer, Kirkka chimed in once more, in person this time. "Okay, we're here! If you failed your landing strategy, this one will be easier and less surprising." She stood next to the main cabin door near the front, opening it slowly as the roar of the engines overtook most sounds in the cabin. Kirkka stood by waiting for each of the four to jump out.

The distance to the ground was far shorter than the cliff you were likely tossed off of back during your initiation. It was still a fair distance, however, and there were about 12 grimm below you, most of them looking directly up at the Bus. Small fry mostly, except one particularly large looking Ursa.

[OOC: As a reminder, I will be throwing fairly large numbers of Grimm at you. Please feel free to auto hit and instantly kill them. I will note it in my post if you are unable to do so against any particular target.]

"There's plenty of ground to cover before we get to town. Let's strategize on the way." Kaali spoke firmly as she began walking in the direction of the town. She wondered why they were deposited so far from town. It probably isn't uncommon to have huntsmen come into town, and the town itself probably has some or at least some decent fighters. Still, she didn't let her thoughts distract her as she kept her focus on her surroundings and looking for danger. Her hand rested on the hilt of her sheathed blade, the illuminated veins on the scabbard glowing a faint yellow.

Kaali was just a few feet away from Vahn when she drew her sword quickly before checking it over for the last time and sheathing it. Satisfied, she calmly stepped closer to the front of the group as she answered Vahn.

"I thought that Hadaya hadn't be attacked yet? At least that we know of. We should make our way there first and see if anything is wrong. If he's here he is probably in town or at least will be in town eventually." She paused slightly, turning her gaze from the road heading into town to looking between both Vahn and Cerulean Steel. "But, that's just my opinion. I would defer to you two, considering your status over mine."

Kirkka answered right away. She actually came here during her student days and recalls it being a breeze to purify the town. Although, one of her teammates did almost all the work... "It should be relatively normal levels for this area. Normally, there is not a very high density of Grimm here. I don't see any reason it would be different. That doesn't mean you should not be on your guard, however. There's nothing out of the ordinary. Creeps are the most common, but there are usually flocks of Nevermores as well. Just baby ones, hopefully."

Her eyes shifted toward the ceiling of the cabin as she recalled her memories and intelligence, trying to see if she was missing anything. Nothing came to her, however.

I am not sure that the answer to that question is a number that can be mathematically defined.

Waffle yawned at the back of the Air Bus before standing slowly and looking at the box he was just leaning against. Naturally, he can't read. The crate was wooden but was secured with metal bands. It looked quite nice as something that could solve his current problem. A fierce itching sensation had appeared on his back. Those metal bands would help. And so they did. Waffle awkwardly turned his body and used the wooden crate labeled "DANGER: EXPLOSIVES" to relieve the irritation on his back. The crate survived but moved two feet or so over the course of the event.

The safety hazards of having a bear next to a crate of explosives in an airplane aside, the flight had been smooth so far. During the night it got a little bumpy when they crossed paths with a swarm of small Nevermores, but they didn't cause much trouble. There were only a few minutes before the team was to land and begin their weekend long mission. Kirkka had just entered the cabin from the front, stopping at the first row of seats and starting to rummage through her already well-organized things. While she did so, she addressed the rest of the travelers.

"Good, you are all up. We just passed another swarm of flying Grimm and they are following us now. Mia does not think they will catch up before we land, but if they do it should be pretty interesting."

A small smile appeared on her face, her satisfaction apparent as she stood up straight and turned to face the others.

"Alright. We are officially here on a Destroy mission, which is simply to clear out the Grimm in the ruins of Petros. Full disclosure. We also have an unofficial mission, which you might already know a little bit about. Supposedly, there is an ancient sword in these ruins that comes from the fairy tale "The Lion". Long story short, it is about a warrior that lived a few hundred years ago and traveled the world saving people and destroying Grimm. The fantastical part about the story is that the weapon he used can change its shape instantly, and it nullifies Aura near it. The first part is neat, but the last part is outright terrifying. If this weapon really does exist, it will be quite dangerous. We are here to collect it and return to the Academy with it in hand so that it can be studied and then hopefully destroyed, but I doubt that will happen. She waved her hand, dismissing the thought before she continued.

"I... apologize if this is all news to you. The mission details were intentionally left vague for security purposes, but I am not going to send you all on a mission without you knowing why you are here. I did not say anything earlier because the knowledge of the weapon is being suppressed, though I am sure you have all heard some of the rumors.

On to the briefing. We will be dropping you four off in a clearing to the north of town. You will need to clear the area out so we can land the Bus. We will be using the Bus as a base camp, that you can use to rest and resupply at. Once the base camp is secure, Mia and I will remain here to run backend while you four head into the town and begin searching. All we know is that the catacombs entrance is in a church. It might be difficult to find as the town is so badly crumbled away that little more than foundation and rubble remains. Once you find the entrance, you are to contact me via scroll. Do not enter the catacombs before contacting me. If this weapon really does exist, we must be extremely careful in its presence."

Her eyes shift toward the stash at the back of the Bus as she points towards it. Waffle does not react. "Due to the unusual circumstances around this mission, we brought along plenty of extra supplies. We are not sure what the catacombs hold, or how large they are. We are not certain about the density of Grimm on the surface, either. Commonly, it is fairly sparse and this place is a regular location for Academy missions as it is easy to deal with."

Kirkka closed her eyes and exhaled. She feels like she is not the best at explaining things. She took a moment to collect her thoughts before reopening her eyes and looking around at the four. "Now then. What questions do you have?" The Bus shook slightly as it listed lazily to the left.

Hm. She has always been single minded, and since fighting was something she picked up on very early on in her life, it is difficult to imagine. Assuming her early years went on the same way, she would probably have tried to follow her half-sister Kirkka's career in relation to Dust and Aura research. I am currently rewriting Kaali's character profile, but the Aura research/study would be very reinforced in her new profile, due to the nature of her Semblance not playing nice with the rest of her body and Aura. As it is, it doesn't get in her way enough to stop her from focusing on becoming a Huntress.

That, or a barista.
