Juno's brow furrowed as his strike did next to nothing, even with his semblance up. He had expected to, at the very least, disrupt the man's balance, and as the violet light surrounding him faded away, the young man could do little more than return to his stance and prepare for the incoming assault. What he wasn't prepared for, however, was the revelation that Budonoki knew where Juno had been before this trip.
The young man froze for but a moment, processing the information, only to take two quick jabs to the shoulder, and a third strike to his abdomen. Narrowly avoiding an incoming strike to his head, Juno cursed himself for letting his guard down, and slowly returned to a more defensive stance, glaring at the man. He knew. How much did he know? At the very least, he understood that the fang was involved somehow. Did Malina tell him? Who else did that bitch tell?
All these thoughts swam through his head as the man continued to speak, prompting Juno to straighten up as no threat was made present. Budonoki seemed intent on getting a reaction, a glimpse of Juno's emotion expressed through aura, through raw power. In all honesty, Juno probably wouldn't have needed the man's permission to let loose at that point.
The young man was silent as he jammed his staff into the surface of the log, his posture shifting into one more suited for hand to hand. About as quickly as he had dropped into posture, however, Juno lunged toward his opponent, dropping into a sweep, followed by a quick flurry of kicks, each attack enhanced by a violent surge of concentrated aura.
