On Kale's bed sat another set of clothing other than her own, it looked like the White Fang's uniform, it was hers from the time she joined up she even still had the mask although she didn't know how no one had found the uniform, but today she had told her team that she probably wasn't going to be home tonight and without explaining why got took off with the clothes in a bag and got dressed on the rooftop.
And now school ends on a warm summer evening but for some people that end was only the beginning, Kale was one such person as she sat on the roof above her dorm window waiting to see a certain first year to walk by on his way to a meeting and she planned to try and save at least one person from a terrible mistake, or if nothing else keep him in the palm of her hand. Looking at her scroll she saw the time 5:45PM and asked herself "Is he having second thoughts I wonder?"

Teddy just stood there for a few seconds, staring at the slight mess that was before him. He had too much stuff to easily fit into his backpack, and was in the process of trying to figure out what to bring. "Let's see...I'm definitely gonna need the knife. And I can't avoid bringing my clothes. Maybe I should leave the emergency kit?" he said, looking at the mass of items before him. He always overprepared. He always wanted to be ready for every situation, and his newly-found position as both student and White Fang member was making him more nervous than ever.
After twenty minutes and a lot of pushing, Teddy walked out of the front of the dorms with an overstuffed bag and a long walk ahead of him. The red and brown bag strapped to his back was so full, you could almost hear the zippers crying. And so, the small boy took his large pack with him toward the docks. He had a bulkhead to catch.

Kale watched for a while... motionless almost like one of the gargoyles of old, she waited until movement caught her eye and it just happened to be the one person she was waiting for, a familiar bear faunus with a seemingly overstuffed bag. She stifled a chuckle at the sight of him and regained her composure, she stood up and put on her white fang mask before leaping from rooftop to rooftop making sure to stay out of sight as best she could considering the circumstances.

Teddy walked steadily toward the airship docks. He had the nagging feeling that someone was watching him, but he chalked that up to his own paranoia and managed to stay relatively calm. Thankfully, he hadn't missed the bulkhead to downtown with his excessive time packing. He quietly hopped onto the ship, finding a few empty seats in the back. Setting his bag down in the seat next to him, he took a deep breath and looked out the window. He never liked flying, but it was the fastest way to the industrial district.

Kale watched Teddy get onto the ship and dropped from the rooftops and sprinted towards the bullhead hoping that no other students would see her, as she sprinted she noticed someone and ducked behind a nearby tree seeing the pilot she hoped that she had avoided his sight. Thinking for a second she took off her mask and shoved it in her bag and covered the white fang patch on the back of her clothes with the bag, then decided what to say as she walked over to him with a calm demeanor "Hey there, you wouldn't happen to be flying into town soon would you?"

The middle-aged man was leaning against a lightpost and smoking a cigarette. As he stepped forward from his relaxed position, his beer gut jiggled and he put on a distraught face. "Yeah, yeah. We're gonna take of here in a minute. Just get in." he said, dropping his cigarette to the ground and grinding it with his boot. He paid her little extra attention as he turned and walked toward the ship, muttering "damn kids."

Kale shrugged and walked to the ship, as she boarded the ship she made it a point to keep her face hidden from Teddy as she sat at the opposite side of the ship. Leaning back she smiled as she thought this would have been a lot harder.

Once the pilot was in and the takeoff preparations were made, the ship departed. It was an uneventful flight, with the usual mix of chatter among the students, the snoring of a large bull faunus that was taking up two seats in the middle, and Teddy sitting in the corner feeling a bit air sick.
The airship emptied slowly, with Teddy being one of the last ones off the ship. He slung his bag onto his back and headed out toward the warehouse district, following a small group of people from the airship.

Kale got off at the same time as Teddy but she walked off too the side keeping an eye out for anyone that might be following her or Teddy as well as keeping Teddy from thinking that she was following him. As she followed Teddy she wondered if he would be persuaded by their silver tongues like she was all those years ago, or if he would prove to see through the lies and see the real motives behind the organization, one way or another she knew this night would be interesting.

Teddy continued down toward the warehouse district, keeping pace a good distance behind the group of people. After a few minutes of walking, he suddenly pulled off into an alley. He quickly made his way to the end of it, turning a corner and walking around a dumpster while fishing out a key.
Fumbling with the key, he managed to drop it on the ground before unlocking the door. Taking one last look around, he stepped inside the building, his bag getting caught on the door as he slipped inside.

Kale saw him duck into the alley and followed him redawning her WF mask to somewhat conceal her identity, but when she saw him fumble with the key and on top of it get his bag stuck on the door she couldn't help but sigh. She snuck up to it before the door could close and put a knife in the way of the latch keeping the door open but only just, she sat there and listened for Teddy's footsteps signaling his departure.

The footsteps would continue into the building, followed by a large thud coming from a few feet away. The alley was still for a moment, the only sounds coming through being some quiet rustling and the sound of distant chatter, both coming from the small gap in the door Kale's knife made. The last remnants of the sunset were finally disappearing from the sky, and the alley grew darker by the second.

Kale popped the door open as she heard the thud and crept inside silently closing the door, she stood up and examined the room she was in before sheathing the dagger in her boot, she sighs and gets ready for what is to come.

When Kale stepped in, a few things were apparent. First, Teddy was just in the next room and could definitely see her. The startled expression he made as he looked up at her was evidence enough of that. Second, either the white fang has seriously upped the quality of it's break room, or this place is a bar. Namely, the back room of Mac's Time-out. Third, and most crucial, Teddy was kneeling down and putting on boots, his white fang mask on the floor next to him.
Teddy's heart stopped for a second as someone came into the room behind him. Someone was following him. Was it the cops? Was it someone looking to mug him? Was it someone from the Fang? Did he do something wrong? All of these thoughts flowed through his mind before he even looked up at her. In the dimly lit room, he couldn't tell her face under these circumstances, let alone her having the mask. He fell backwards, leaving the boot he was trying to tie on behind as he desperately scooted away from this mystery assailant.

Kale looked at Teddy with a calm expression and said "Well I was hoping to confront you after the meeting but I guess life takes some unexpected turns, doesn't it Teddy?", on the inside she was screaming at herself for not paying more attention to the area but she would have to make do with the hand dealt to her this time.

After a few seconds and a lot of hyperventilating, Teddy quickly got to his feet and stood at attention before the girl. He did not know exactly who she was at the moment, but she knew him. In his situation, that must mean she outranks him. He bowed to her. "I-I'm sorry, m-ma'am. C-can we please have this conversation in the next room?" he asked, aware that they were still in the path that Mac might end up walking.

Kale knows she holds a kind of power over him and steps into the room saying "Just get ready we can talk as you do, wouldn't want you to be late for the meeting." she sighed in her head as she hoped she could play off the roll of being an escort from the White Fang.

Teddy quickly bowed again. "Yes, ma'am." he said, hurriedly walking back over to his boot. He started lacing it up as quickly as possible, working double time in order to not anger the woman sent to him. "May I ask why you have come to talk to me, ma'am?"

Kale had to think quickly "Some members take interest in some of the newbies, I just happened to take interest in you. she put her hand on the hilt of her sword to rest it and asked "So tell me what do you think about the White Fang?"

Teddy quickly finished tying his boot, standing up straight as soon as he was done to be able to address her at attention. "I believe in our cause, and I am ready to serve it in the ways the higher ups deem fit, ma'am." he said, his chest still heaving as his heart rate was consistently high. He grabbed his backpack, standing up straight with it strapped to his back. He stood there, seeming to wait for her orders.

Kale visibly slumped and taking her hand off her sword she stood up straight and said "I asked you what you thought about the White Fang, not if you believed in the cause. I think most faunus can say they believe in the cause, what I'm asking is what do you think about the organisation? And please I want you to be honest with me."

Teddy deflated a bit when she chastised him. "Apologies, ma'am.
I, um, I-I think that the fang is too secretive. I've...well, I've heard some bad things, ma'am. And I know it's not my place to question the higher-ups, but keeping us in the dark is...well, it's not helping things, ma'am." he said, bowing his head the whole time. He was told to speak honestly, and his heart pounded in his chest at the possibility of having this come back at him.

Kale's heart warmed a bit at hearing his words but she couldn't reveal herself just yet so she said "Well at least you aren't a blind follower, you may prove useful yet. But a warning none of the others will like what you said as I am one of the few who could see the wisdom in your words... and accept it without getting angry and lashing out at you, so let's keep this between us please." putting her hand on his shoulder as she spoke Kale knew they would have to get to the meeting soon and said "Come you have a meeting to get to."

"Yes, ma'am. Thank you, ma'am." he said, his heart finally getting a break as he found out that he wouldn't be punished. He moved out, holding the door open for her. "Ma'am, it, um, s-shouldn't we be discreet?" he said, referring to her mask.

Kale smirked and walked out the door they came in saying "We should, how do you feel about heights?" while looking up to the roofs with a sly look to her lips.

Teddy followed her gaze, looking at the rooftops in wonder. He then looked back at his bag, taking a sharp breath. "If those are your orders, ma'am.
I'll do my best." he said, adjusting the bag on his shoulder.

"Look kid I'm not here to boss you around, if you don't feel like you can do it this way that's fine just get to the meeting how you think you can." and with no other words Kale leaps up to the wall in front of her and does a wall-jump back and forth till she gets to the roof and disappears over the ledge leaving Teddy alone.

Teddy looked in awe as she effortlessly scaled the buildings and disappeared from sight. Taking a deep breath, he pulled up his jacket to cover his uniform before exiting the alley. It was only a few minutes walk from the bar to the warehouse. Today, they had a short meeting and Teddy had to assist with the operations there. Usually, this ended up with him doing menial labor, considering he is low on the totem pole.

Kale followed him from the rooftops avoiding sight from any passersby, as they got to the warehouse she dropped into an alleyway and waits for Teddy to enter the building, she wanted to see who would be showing up and possibly find out some info on the local fang.

Teddy paused just for a second before entering the warehouse. He needed the time to be able to apply his mask. He did and made his way inside, bowing in respect to the many people around him who outranked him. Teddy kept his mask on, standing at attention during the whole meeting. In terms of meetings, there was little out of the ordinary, at least for the White Fang.

Kale walked into the same building keeping an eye out around her for anyone she might recognize, or on the other more terrifying hand recognize her, but she kept her composure and found a spot to hang out and listen to conversations around her while she searched the room. She was searching for three things; first off Teddy, second she wanted to mark any higher ups, and last anything that might be intel on operations in the area.

Unfortunately for Kale, she would not get to see much in this meeting, as it was for the lowest-ranking members of the group. That day's meeting was specifically for the distribution of duties to those low on the totem pole. Teddy had no change in duties, and so would continue to do more menial tasks for the group for the time being.
Teddy was not easy to see in the crowd, as he was about half a foot shorter than even the women in the group. Thankfully, the platform that the speaker was on was raised, so he could almost see most of the guy's head.
Once the meeting adjourned, Teddy quickly picked up his bag and headed out of the warehouse, finding himself in the alley behind the large building.

Kale shook her head during the meeting and left before it was over getting her a couple looks, but as she looked like a superior no one tried to stop her, she waited in the dark for Teddy to come out and as soon as he did she said "Why don't you come with me Teddy I have somethings to discuss with you in private." she stepped from the shadow and walked past him taking a ladder that lead to the top of the building next to the warehouse not waiting for him to follow her.

Teddy was a bit surprised when he was confronted in the alleyway, but his shock quickly turned to a small groan as he realized that once again, he would have to keep up while wearing a heavy bag. Was today a surprise fitness test or something? Taking a deep breath, Teddy quickly climbed the ladder after her. He was certainly slower than her on the ascent, and was out of breath by the time he got to the top.

Kale was sitting on a rooftop AC unit with her sword sitting next to her he had actually taken so long and taken her sword off while she waited for him. Once he came up the ladder Kale stood up and pulled him away from the edge and threw him to the ground next to the AC and I took off her mask before covering his mouth and asked "Teddy, Teddy, Teddy we need to have a deep discussion about what you're doing with your life."
