Title: Rightful Retribution [Closed]
Post by: Ordelis on August 10, 2017, 06:05:18 PM
WANTED Tribune Riot
Former huntsman gone rogue Accused of single-handedly destroying the village of Patz and letting Grimm prey on the survivors Formerly believed to be deceased until he was reported last seen outside the village of Hadaya
This is a search mission, the objective is to confirm or deny any sightings of Riot first hand. Riot is considered extremely dangerous and is not to be directly confronted with. Should you confirm Riot's general location hide or run away immediately to report.
Riot is recognizable by his white hair, a burn scar marked on the left side of his face, generally dark clothing, and an ornately decorated black and gold rifle with a chained knife on the stock.
Upon disembarking the Bullhead, you will take the path to Hadaya and search the forest for any sign of Riot as you make your way towards the village, the possibility of Riot hiding in the village is also not unlikely.

The roaring engine of the Bullhead calmed down to a gentle hover as it descended on an open clearing on the outskirts of an unnamed forest. The side door opens and lets down its four huntsmen and huntress;Mae Tulimanu, Cerulean Steel, Vahn Crimson, and Kaali Charen .While the forest was difficult to navigate without any real landmarks, a single well worn road lead to the path inside.

After reviewing the mission detail over and over again, Vahn still finds himself confused and a little disgusted that a former huntsman could have done these kinds of things. As he walk on the trail, he couldn't help but wonder if it was true and if his parents was doing the same thing right now. He lets out a deep sigh and shake the thoughts out of his head, then looks at the other members of this search party.
"So... How are we going to tackle this?", He asked. "I know we're searching for this Riot guy... but do you think there's a chance anyone is still alive in Hadaya? We might be able to save some people while we search..."

Kaali was just a few feet away from Vahn when she drew her sword quickly before checking it over for the last time and sheathing it. Satisfied, she calmly stepped closer to the front of the group as she answered Vahn.
"I thought that Hadaya hadn't be attacked yet? At least that we know of. We should make our way there first and see if anything is wrong. If he's here he is probably in town or at least will be in town eventually." She paused slightly, turning her gaze from the road heading into town to looking between both Vahn and Cerulean Steel. "But, that's just my opinion. I would defer to you two, considering your status over mine."

Cerulean has been walking along with his blades already drawn and ready for any moment. "You're right. He hasn't attacked yet and we don't know the situation in town. He might have endeared himself to them in which case they will cause us trouble. If that is the case or not we have to consider the fact that he will likely use the townsfolk as leverage against us. If we identify his location without being discovered it would be best so that we can get everyone away before we do anything else. Our best cause of action would be to separate and search the town individually. that way we can cover more ground faster and hopefully draw less attention to ourselves."

Mae walked with the group with her crossbow ready, checking the trees for any activity. She then started to check her gear and made sure that she had everything. After hearing Cerulean speak, she decided to chime in and say "Or, that's what he wants us to do, and we all walk into a trap. Maybe pairs of two would work better just in case we got ambushed? He is an ex-hunter after all, he would probably know a good number of our tactics. But, I'm just a first year after all."

Vahn slowly rise his hand, "I agree to that plan. I'm new to this kind of job but I'd rather have someone watching my back before going to a bad situation. Two heads and all that." Vahn calmly continues walking with his coat on, concealing his equipment underneath. He stretch his arms above his head and keeps a relaxed appearance compared to the others, but keeps an eye on the forest for anything.

There was still a fair bit of ground the team had to walk before reaching Hadaya. The forest they walked in had a dense overhang of trees that blocked out the sun making it dark, considering the time of day it was. Light still shone through the leaves but at night no doubt it would be pitch black. There were no vines or bushes making the land relatively flat and barren aside from the grass. The team could see out as far as their eyesight would allow them, which at the moment turned out to be nothing but the trees. There was nothing as far as they could see, if anyone wanted to hide in here it would be behind a tree or up it. But an easy look around showed the team they were the only living things there.

"There's plenty of ground to cover before we get to town. Let's strategize on the way." Kaali spoke firmly as she began walking in the direction of the town. She wondered why they were deposited so far from town. It probably isn't uncommon to have huntsmen come into town, and the town itself probably has some or at least some decent fighters. Still, she didn't let her thoughts distract her as she kept her focus on her surroundings and looking for danger. Her hand rested on the hilt of her sheathed blade, the illuminated veins on the scabbard glowing a faint yellow.

Cerulean let out a frustrated sigh as his plan was shot down and an admittedly safer plan was put on the table. So much for getting to work solo for a bit. Damn. "Alright then. groups of 2 then. I think our best bet for usage of our time would be to go over our abilities and figure out who will work best with who."

Mae spoke in a gentle voice and said, "Right. Well, I use a crossbow and a small knife to defend myself from my enemies. My crossbow has 4 clips, each with a different type of ammo. I've got a regular one, a fire one, an ice one, and an electric one. I can also jump pretty high too, which allows me exploit some enemies that are in cover. I can't jump more than two times though, or else I get over-exhausted. My eye sight is pretty good too, if you couldn't already tell just by looking at me.

Vahn smirks at the idea of sharing what they got. He lifts one of his sleeves to reveal the red armor underneath and starts to knock on it with his fist. He then presses a button on the bottom of his palm and a set of three claws pops out of his forearm. "As you can tell, I'm more of an "up-close and personal" kind of guy." He puts them away and pulls out his revolver, swinging it with his finger. "I also have this, if that fails. Six shots and a barrel that allows it to shoot any kind of dust for one shot at a time. If you're in need of cover, my semblance will do the job. I can put up a protective barrier for you guys or trap this Riot with it"

"I don't really have much to help you all out aside from cutting down the enemy." Kaali spoke meekly as she thought about the various explanations given. As they walked, she continued, "I suppose I would specialize in fighting the big bads of a pack. I like going to the boss right away." She focused her attention on her new temporarily allies as she gave them another look over, combining their explanations of abilities and skills with their appearances.

A noise was heard by those with keen hearing...a clinking sound...metal bouncing around...rustling...footsteps...running...someone was definitely running. The perceptive ones could see him? her? a dark figure too dark to tell from the shade was running from the direction the team was headed in. But whoever it was they weren't running towards the team rather a direction parallel to them, at this rate he/ she was going to run right past them without noticing them. What they were running from became apparently obvious. A pair of Griffon Grimm of average size darting through the trees flapping their wings for a boost of speed, screeching through the air as they hunted down their prey, dodging trees and screeching as the mysterious figure would zigzag between them hoping to put more distance between them with mixed results.

Contact! Griffons! Mae said as she jumped onto a high up tree branch. She loaded her frost bolts and started firing at one of the griffons chasing the figure, hoping to slow it down.

Kaali drew her Better Half immediately and broke into a run down the road. A moment after, her body began to radiate jade lightning and her pace increased. The combination of the open path she was on with her enhanced speed means she should be able to get ahead of the pair of griffins and hopefully the person fleeing. If she can, she will signal the person to come toward her so she can cut some Griffins up. That's the plan, anyway. The road was looking pretty clear so far, but those griffins were moving quite fast, considering how much the trees were probably slowing them down.

Vahn's body almost reacted before he thought of running towards the griffons. He snatches a dust canister from his hip and instantly install it into his armor, causing a gust of wind to blast him forward with just a step. Before landing his feet on the ground or slamming into a tree, he kick off the closest one and blast off of the path they were heading. With just one more in him, he kicks off another tree and makes his way to the side of the three with a set of his blades aimed towards one of the griffons' sides.

Noticing the sound Cerulean turned and saw a shadowy figure running from some Grimm. Knowing the potential for negative emotions to attract Grimm and their targets potential to be such an attraction for them Cerulean resolved to prevent them from fleeing until he could at least ensure their identity. With this in mind he made to intercept them by leaping into the air and coiling his legs up. at the same time another him appeared below him standing on his hands. the second Cerulean also coiled his legs before they both snapped them straight sending the first Cerulean shooting forwards before the second Cerulean collapsed into what appeared to be purple stained glass. A few jumps off clones using a similar technique and Cerulean had propelled himself into a position where he was in the figure's path and had his blades ready to either cut down the Grimm or the person if necessary.

The dark figure found himself intercepted by Cerulean and Kaali both in a combative stance. With the two able to see the unknown figure now that they were much closer, the first thing that they noticed about him(definitely him), was a massive wound on his blood soaked shoulder, the hole on his jacket seemed to suggest it was a bullet rather then a Grimm. The man was clearly exhausted, sweating, and panting like every breath might have been his last, even with his hood hiding his face over his head. The man briefly looked up to the two figures blocking his path and whatever went through his mind he decided to collapse at their feet. A golden knife attached to a broken chain at the hilt falling out of his hands.
Of the two Griffons, Mae's frost bolts hit right on the mark, immobilizing one of the distracted Griffon closer to its intended prey. The other one completely unaware of Vahn closing in like a lethal gale, gets struck with a mortal puncture from his claws. The creature lets out a screeching cry and one more good hit would take him down. The momentary pause in the creatures pursuit however, allowed one more of the Grimm to finally catch up, a Beringel , it leaps through the air and delivers an earth shattering fist towards Vahn and the Griffon.

Unaware of this new threat, Vahn tries to deliver the final blow to his Griffon and only sees a glimpse of the Beringel's fist right in the corner of his eye. The hit sends Vahn flying through a tree or two and skidding on the ground before finally stopping. Vahn slowly gets up, dazed from the blow he took. "Ugh... Cheap shot..." Shaking off his dazed state and noticing that his aura is at 75%, he ready his semblance before going back into the fray. All his aura is gathered in a ball in his right hand as he charge at the Beringel.

Seeing the man collapse in front of him with a bullet wound only helped to increase Cerulean's suspicions of who he might be. Still he wouldn't act without thought. He moved forwards hoping to catch him before he collapsed. Being too late he went to pull away the hood and pick him up. Only to hear Vahn getting smacked through a tree. Dammit. Cerulean lay the man back on the ground as gently as he could while drawing his staff from his back with his other hand. Assembling Takif in halberd form as quickly as he could the moment it was together Cerulean appeared above and behind the Beringal bringing the weapon down with all his might onto it's back shoulder. He was not expecting a strike from his clone to kill it immediately even with that much force. He did however expect it to turn around and strike the clone which would cause it to detonate and do further damage while also distracting it.

They'll be fine, probably. Kaali watched the others briefly before kneeling down next to the now unconscious man. She looked him over quickly and only spotted the bullet wound, so she tore his jacket and clothes to expose the wound, using the cloth scraps to attempt to bandage it up. Stopping the bleeding is most important, she recalled to herself as she worked. She was no medic, but she knew enough to perform the bare minimum. There was no concern on her face about who the man was, just that he was injured and at risk of being killed by grimm. So long as the others could handle their assailants, she could at least try to prolong his life however she could.
As Kaali worked, she tried to keep her attention split between her work and her surroundings, hoping that nothing surprised her. Keeping attention on multiple things is not something she is the best at, however.

Mae switched her dust magazines from ice to fire, and jumped off the tree. She circled around and shot at the beringel, trying not to shoot Cerulean as she did so. She didn't have time to worry about the man on the ground, despite his injuries.

The Beringel introduces itself to its new prey with a pound of its chest and a bellowing war cry. As it begins its assault forward, Cerulean's clone connects its attack on the creature. The Beringel turns to swing at the unknown assailant behind him only to be showered in sharp glass damaging it even further. Enraged, it notices Vahn challenging him with a head on charge, it accepts the challenge and responses with a fist the size of Vahn's whole body. As the two are about to collide the Beringel is interrupted by Mae's flaming bolt and entirely stopped in its tracks as the burning pain engulfs it. Vahn still unstopping in his charge connects perfectly as the creature is completely taken off guard by the additional attack.
The first Griffon hit by Mae's bolts being entirely ignored, found it's chance to break free of its icy prison and made for an explosive dive attack with its beak aimed at its nearest target, Kaali tending to the unknown. The second Griffon struck by Vahn and now also the Beringel recovers momentarily from its wounds and pounces back on Vahn with a slash from its claws.
As Kaali treated the unknown man, his hood unintentionally falls from his face revealing his ...ghostly white hair...and a burn scar on his left cheek. The dark man stirs awake blinking a few times looking up at his savior, "A...kid?" was all he said as he looked up at Kaali. As Kaali responds the dark man's eyes burst open as he notices the danger behind her, in an instant the dark man vanishes in an explosion of wind, appearing in the path of the Griffon aimed to attack Kaali. The man stood with his golden knife embedded in the side of the Griffon's head, with a violent twist and pull he yanks his weapon out of the creature's head as it vanished to ash. The man collapses back on his knees he decides to lie back down, panting and still sweating.

Seeing the Griffon going for Kaali Cerulean moved to go to defend her only for the unconscious man to awaken and kill the Grimm. And be the target. Using his semblance Cerulean created a Clone of himself on the opposite side of Riot. Angling the front edge towards Riot both Cerulean's charged him with halberds extended creating a cage with their blades pushing against both sides of Riot in an attempt to crush him between the two blades. If both of him connected the Cerulean's would then continue pushing against each-other in the hopes of crushing his midsection.

As Vahn stops to swing the arm holding his semblance orb towards the Beringel, he doesn't notice the Griffon closing in. With what seems like dumb luck, the orb makes contact with the grimm's side and traps it in a strong energy bubble. Confused, Vahn looks at his caged bird. "Oh... Thanks..." Vahn said in an annoyed tone before looking at the Beringel and back at the Griffon. "You know what, you'll do." Vahn holds out both hands towards the orb and close them, squeezing the grimm inside. He then struggles to toss the winged beast into the Beringel, losing his footing and causing the bubble to disappear in the middle of the throw.

Paying no mind to being called a kid, Kaali stood and spun around rapidly, ready to face the approaching griffon. Her attention was not so limited that she wouldn't see one of the current combatants coming at her. But unexpected was the blast of wind that came from the barely conscious person that lay behind her. When he appeared in front of her and destroyed the griffon with ease, she frowned slightly. She may have been trying to treat a wound, but that was her opportunity to obliterate a grimm for herself. Her secondary thoughts came up however as she realized the injured man is suddenly doing strenuous things.
She took note of his appearance, noting that he matched the description of the person they were seeking. She assumed he would be too weak to fight considering he had an injury that had gotten past his Aura shielding, but that may not be the case. So instead, she kept her distance and only watched the man. Of course, another attack was coming. This time directed at the injured person. A pincer attack by Cerulean, her temporary teammate. Did he plan to kill the man? Even if this is the guy they're searching for, their orders aren't to kill him. We technically aren't even supposed to engage him! Besides, he's badly injured and just risked himself to save someone else, even if they didn't need saving. Something's not quite right.
There wasn't much time for words, so Kaali dashed between Cerulean's path, well, one of them at least. Her blade was ready to parry the halberd, and energy from her semblance coursed through her, visible all around her as jade lightning danced along her skin. She hoped it was enough to fend off the attack, but she hoped more that he would stay his attack before it contacted at all. Killing him in the middle of the field like this was not right, even if he is guilty.

Seeing that the Griffon and the Beringel we're still alive, Mae decides to shoot her fire bolts at the pair, aiming more towards the griffon in hopes of finishing it off. She then set her sights on Cerulean, who seemed to be attacking the man and Kaali at the same time with a clone. Hoping to distract him at least a little bit, she took off her fire canister and jumped into the air--directly over the clone's head--using her semblance. Once she made the peak height, she simply dropped the canister, hoping it would daze the clone.

As the real Cerulean rushed at Riot suddenly Kaali decided to step in. Against him. What the hell? In a panicked hope not to hurt his teammate he dug the end of his halberd into the ground and kicked off the ground turning Takif into a makeshift pole-vault to propel himself over Kaali and resume his attack only to be hit by the blast and shards from his clone exploding after a canister was dropper on it's head. At least the blast would probably hurt Riot too maybe even Mae depending on how high she was. As Cerulean fell back to the ground He dug Takif into it to prevent himself from being kicked back too far. He rose to a knee and glared at Kaali. "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING!"

The throw from Vahn's projectile Griffon collides into the burning Beringel with the force of a small car. With both creatures stunned they had no opportunity to counter Mae's literal firestorm of bolts, dusting the monsters to ash.
The dark man was caught in chaos, Cerulean charges him down with intent to kill and Kaali moves to defend him. But what caught the dark man off guard was Cerulean's clone exploding, the force of the blast knocks him backwards straight into Kaali. The dark man suddenly aware he had fallen on Kaali all but crushing her, moves to scramble off of her immediately "sorry" he mumbles barely audible to Kaali. The man gets up and wobbles to a nearby tree for support still sweating profusely looking like he could pass out any minute. "So have you all decided to kill me...or save me yet" he asks in between breathes, the question was in a curious manner not at all seeming to care for the answer.

Vahn stands victorious as the two Grimm turns to ash. 'Got to love it when things just work out' He hides a smile behind his helmet, before jumping in surprise by the explosion at his teammates' location. "Woah! What is going on!?" Just realizing that there was more going on, outside the fight with the Grimm. He sees Cerulean on his knee, yelling at Kaali. Kaali having her guard up and Mae in the air. 'Okay, either everyone has gone crazy. One of them has at least. Or...' watches the man go to the tree and ask his question, seeming to conform his third guess. "I'm going to take a guess and say that's Riot, right?" joining his team as he asks.

Recovering from her loss of balance after the injured man collided with her, Kaali stood up straight with her sword still in hand but resting. Her eyes focused with purpose on Cerulean, considering him the primary threat for the moment. "Nowhere in our orders does it say to kill anyone! Who are you to decide who lives and who dies?!" Her grip on her blade tightened as she took a deep breath to calm herself before looking toward the injured one as if checking to see if he'll run or do some fancy wooshy speed attack like before.

Cerulean grunted as he pushed on Takif to help get fully to his feet. Deal with the threat first. Then debate with the children. With that thought in mind another clone appeared directly next to Riot where hopefully no one would be able to interrupt in time. This time instead of using the blade the clone simply drove the pommel of Takif directly into Riot's head in the hope of knocking him unconscious.

As Mae softened her fall with her aura, she noticed that the one actual hunter in the group was still trying to harm Riot for seemingly no apparent reason. Hoping that she could try to slow Cerulean down again, she loaded up her normal canister and took a short breath in before firing a bolt at the clone's head.

Though the dark man watched over Cerulean he didn't see the clone coming as it went to stun him over the head. He probably would've been hit but was instead showered in a burst of broken glass for the second time as Mae's bolt destroyed the clone. "That's getting real old" the dark man said as he moved to cover his face with his arm. "So I guess the answer to my question is both" the dark man said with interest as he looked between Cerulean, Kaali, and Mae, his gaze returning to Cerulean in case another attack came. "And to answer your question helmet" he continued indicating Vahn's question, "I would hide it but I'm guessing it's not a coincidence a team came out here and started attacking random people.
Tribune Riot, the monster who slaughtered an innocent little village and seeks to continue his rampage, in the flesh" he said with a sarcastic mocking tone. "So what's the order assassination? Scout? Arrest? Really if you could just continue patching me up that would..." he paused mid sentence. Off in the distance Grimm could be seen but they weren't going for them, rather they were running in the direction the team was originally headed, Hadaya, as if something was attracting them. Riot suddenly took on an expression of panic and confusion, without another word he started running back in the direction he came from, in the direction of Hadaya.

Vahn notice the look of shock in his face before he started running. Seeing him run to the direction of Hadaya, he remembers that Riot and the slayed Grimm originally came from that direction, causing him to worry about the status of the village and its people. Vahn starts to follow Riot as fast as he can, trying to get beside him. "For someone who is wanted for slaughtering people, you seem more worried about Grimm going to a village full of innocent people than yourself. Unless you know something that's worth making the hole in your stomach worse."

Kaali was about to reply to his request for bandages but was interrupted when Riot took off running, or something that resembled running considering his current state. Spotting the grimm heading toward the town, and watching Vahn take off after the critically injured Riot, Kaali turned and fixated on Cerulean. Her guard was fully up and her semblance was steady and active, but her blade still remained at her side instead of in front of her. "There appears to be a higher priority than slaughtering an injured human. Agreed?" Her face showed a fair bit of resolve, but it was evident that she was nervous, perhaps a little scared. She knew the person in front of her was a full-fledged huntsman. She knew that a direct fight him would be brutally hard. But she kept her straight face as best she could as she pushed the fear to the back of her mind. The Grimm were the priority. They're always the priority.

Well that's certainly interesting. Cerulean thought as Riot reacted to the goings on around him. That sure didn't sound like the man he had been expecting from the reports. Then something else caught his attention. Grimm heading towards.... the town? Then at the very least there were survivors remaining. In enough pain to overwrite Riot's presence and the probably muddled emotions Kaali seemed to be feeling. Act now. Justify later. Cerulean pulled Takif from the ground and twirled it into a position behind him where he could run without it getting in his way before taking off without bothering to respond to Kaali's question. With any luck she wouldn't be stupid enough to attack him as he made to follow Riot and Vahn towards the village.

A look of confusion cast over Mae's face as the 3 males ran off towards the village. Why would Riot, the one who presumably slaughtered towns, running back to one about to be infested by Grimm? The faunus sheathed her crossbow and looked at Kaali with the same confused look, before taking off towards the town, following the 3 warriors.

Run, that's all Riot did as he moved his legs. Every breathe was agony, sweat drenched off his skin as his strength was at his limit from his forced activity. A fire burned in his lungs as his body told him to stop but something was still keeping him going. The team that followed him easily caught up to his slow pace, Riot himself ignored Rory's question as he was more focused on getting to his destination, and could barely spare the breathe to run let alone talk.
The group came to a hilltop that overlooked a fairly large village with a sturdy wooden wall, tall towers stood spaced out behind the wall presumably acting as a guard. The sound of battle could be heard from within the walls, small Grimm were pouring into a hole in the wall that the monsters presumably made. It was obvious from the outside where the source of the Grimm were coming from but if the Grimm were scattered enough it would be hard for the ones fighting inside to know.
"Fie..." was the only thing he said as Riot ran for the breach in the wall knocking away any Grimm that were in his way. Twice he had to use his explosive wind maneuver to get around them and one more time to enter through the hole in the wall.

Vahn watches as Riot goes in the wall, unable to follow because of his concern with the Grimm continuing to enter the village. Vahn quickly turns to the others, point to the Grimm's entrance and try his best to keep his plan short. "I don't know about you guys but I say we forget about Riot for now, get in there and patch that hole as best as we can. We should cut a path in there together and split the team in half once we're through. One pair deals with any Grimm inside while the other tries to fix that hole, then join the fight." Pulls out an Earth dust canister from his belt as well as his Six Crimson. "If no one has any better ideas, I'll help close up the breach.

Cerulean followed Riot's lead and rather than pause to deliberate simply continued running for the wall. Seeing the hole he did however come up with a plan similar to Vahn's. He couldn't do much in order to repair the wall but he was fully intending to ensure no further Grimm made it into the town. He ran straight into the onslaught with Takif held like a lance creating an area in front of his charge that would slice in half anything in his way until he reached the wall.

Mae ran behind the men, staying closer to Kaali as they came to the wall which granted the grimm entry into the village. The faunus loaded her regular bolts and started to shoot the monsters that came near the charging Cerulean, covering him as he ran to the wall. I'm running out of ammo... she thought as she kept firing bolts at the Grimm invaders.

Kaali had followed the rest of her team to the walled village. The damage to the wall was quite severe, but the whole could serve as a nice bottleneck as long as they could get the other side under control. Stepping forward, Kaali addressed Vahn and Mae while she examined the village wall. When she discovered an easy spot to get over it. she pointed it out. "From the sounds of it, we need to help inside the wall too. We can use that hole as a bottleneck if we can clear out the ones inside. The three of us should get in there and do that. We can let Cerulean and Riot handle the incoming ones. They're both frustrating to talk to but they seem capable, despite injuries. We can get in over there. Its a long jump but the hill rises up near the wall there. The high ground will benefit your ranged weapons, too."
Sheathing her weapon due to the lack of immediate danger, she began moving toward the wall and getting ready to leap across. The jump was long, but she knew she could make it. The question was whether the other two could, should they come with. As she thought, with the help of her semblance she made the jump on top of the wall easily and turned around ready to try and catch the others if they needed help.

The combined efforts of Mae, Cerulean, and Vahn effortlessly held off the swarm of luckily only small Grimm mostly consisting of adolescent Beowulf, Creeps, and the occasional Boarbatusk. Mae and Vahn casually blasting down the Grimm like targets on the range while Cerulean a fully fledged Hunter twirled, spun, and impaled his weapon as anything foolish enough to get close to him vanished into a haze of ash. From the numbers the swarm was going to continue for a bit, though three was more then enough to hold it off.
Kaali who had a good vantage point, stood atop the wall right next to a wooden guard tower that at a glance looked to be empty. From where she stood she could see the situation in the town, small Grimm were rampaging around causing havoc, but the defenders of the village carrying ordinary weapons consisting of swords, and rifles were already in combat with them. Possessing no real great skill over the weak Grimm they were evenly matched, the advantage the village had was that it made its strength in numbers. Looks like the group got here before the situation got out of hand. Throughout the village people could be seen moving about through the alleys and streets not in panic but as if looking for something, their direction was headed for the wall presumably looking for the breach. A King Taijitu however gave the villagers some trouble, its speed outmatched their bladed weapons and its dust weapons proved ineffective against its defense.
Kaali looking down from her spot on the wall, Riot could be seen collapsed against a wall nearby the breach, his fatal wound finally catching up him bringing him to his limit. While the flow of Grimm was stopped, he was still at the source of where they came from, and predators always knew when it came to knowing when a prey was on its last legs. A group of five creeps could be seen sprinting down the road toward him, honing in on their prey.

Once they free up enough space between the wall and the swarm, Vahn opens his container of earth dust and drops it right on top of the breach. Hoping it can at least hold them off for a moment before turning to see Riot being surrounded and the King Taijitu rampaging. He aims his revolver at the giant snake but is greeted with a click. "I'm out!"
Cursing under his breath and grabbing another container of dust from his belt, he points to the creeps. "Someone needs to get Riot! I'm taking on King Snake over there." Inserting the dust into his armor the same way he did when they first encountered Riot, his claws and legs are surrounded by electricity. He shoots off towards the Taijitu and goes for a slash towards the back of it's head.

Having now reached the breach Cerulean turned to face all the Grimm hoping to come in with Takif brandished out to the side and resting on the ground. He then heaved it forwards drawing a line in the dirt in front of him and stepping over it. "Any of you who want to get in are going to have to go through me. Come and have a go if you think you're hard enough!"

Mae rushed over to the breach and used her semblance to double jump to the top of the wall to see the King Taijitu and the five creeps surrounding Riot. The hawk Faunus emptied the rest of her regular clip at the snake, hoping to do at least something. Once that was done, she switched to her ice bolts and shot the rest of the clip at the creeps around Riot.
