Title: Amity Bar&Grill [Ask to be invited]
Post by: Dr. Gustave on October 17, 2016, 03:20:34 PM
Zabar and Zwei sat on bar stools, watching the current match play out on the TVs set up around the room. The crowd that had initially swarmed the both of them with compliments and questions for autographs had finally dissipated and they both had some room to breath. That being said, it wasn't much room. The bar was absolutely packed, people had let the two sit down in their seats, sure, but they were semi-famous for the time being. There had to be at least three layers of people standing, trying to get closer, in front of the bar. The tables weren't any better, every single table in the place was full and it was pretty clear no one was getting up any time soon.

As Zabar took a sip of his drink he felt a pang of pity for the bartenders frantically moving behind the bar and the servers hurrying in and out of hallway into the kitchen just beyond the bar, though he couldn't particularly say why. Maybe it was he just wasn't the kind of person to enjoy a lifestyle so hectic and fast paced, maybe it was that he could see the faces the employees tried to hide as they heard something they didn't like or something stupid. Maybe it was that he could see how upset that group of middle aged women got over a simple mistake.

That didn't matter though. Zabar was happy. He won, he was getting a drink with a new... friend? He would be going home after the tourney, he was happy. He looked back up at the screen. Cobe Sky and Razzmatazz Gele. He was gonna fight one of them next round, but he felt like he was almost cheating by watching this match up. But Zabar pushed those thoughts out of his mind as he turned his head to look toward Zwei. "What do you think of the two of them so far?"

Despite the crowded space, Zwei seemed to be quite relaxed and content despite his loss. He didn't dislike the attention the crowd had given him, but it was a strange feeling he wasn't used to. Sure the mask did draw a few odd stares out in town but being the center of attention was weird, but he decided that he wouldn't mind being in the spotlight again sometime. He held his drink firmly; a long straw came from the drink that Zwei could use to sip without having to remove his mask. His other arm's elbow resting on the bartop, his palm supporting his chin as he watched the combat unfold.

He laughed after Zabar asked him about Cobe and Razzmatazz. "They both seem to be competent enough. They don't seem to actually be hurting each other very much. I'd certainly have a hell of a time getting close to them but then again, they also can't send back what I shoot at them!" He laughed again at the memory and how surprised he was before stopping and scratching the back of his head. "Err, sorry about the whole 'throwing sand' thing. That wasn't very cool of me."

Fenix dusted off some dust off his suit. He had just recently introducted two idiots to ground,  and it kicked up lots of dust that had got on his suit. Fenix had intended to meet with Zwei immediately after his Vytal Tournament fight, but when some people need their face ahoved into the ground, he'll do it. Fenix picked up from some conversations that Zwei is in Amity's Bar & Grill, if assuming "that masked kid is in there" was anything to go by.

Walking in, it was really easy to find Zwei stand out. He was at the bar with someone else, who was probably that guy that recently faced off Zwei in battle. Silently musing to himself as to what the guy's name was, Fenix started to walk up to Zwei, drawing a few stares considering his outfit. Finally arriving at his destination, Fenix drew his arm around Zwei with a large grin, "You lost, but at least you participated!"

"In fact, you did really good!" Fenix continued on with a grin, before facing to the guy that fought against Zwei, with an apologetic expression as he had clearly forgotten his name, or at least some parts of it. "I apologize, but I appear to have trouble remembering your name. Zabar, was it?"
