Akel wasn't really a daytime person. Being a bat faunas meant that she did have a large preference for the night and had actually woken up as the sun had started to set. A rare sight to see with her eyes fully open, completely aware of her surroundings and ready to do some training by herself. she sighed as the only red that she could see was the one on herself and her weapon "Blood Ignition".
She pushed those thoughts out of her mind and dropped her duffel bag which just contained a towel, water bottle, and her coat since she didn't really feel like wearing it.
Nevertheless, she didn't waste any time grabbing BI from her right thigh and went straight into training. Transforming her scythe and flipping backwards, keeping herself horizontal and attacking in the same fluent motion. Not stopping and followed through with more moves of equal parts: aggression, elegance, fluent motion and most importantly, acrobatics.

Gray was bearing a smile on his face as he strolled into the arena and saw that to his surprise there was already someone there practicing techniques. Quite impressive ones too. No way I'd be able to move like that. Pretty impressive. Gray strolled happily to the woman watching intently before he let out a low whistle. "Well that is certainly impressive." If Akel turned to see him the only red on him was a few red lines on the mask on his coats shoulder and the strap going across his chest.

Akel didn't except the voice, the sudden interruption caused a very quick reaction from her, her scythe slammed into the ground with the handle pointing up and she pulled out her sword with a flip, landing on the uppermost part of the handle with her ninjato in her hand and her left hand at her belt. She let out a breath of air as her rosaries settled upon her chest and saw that it was only another student. She sat down on the end of the scythe and took a small notice of the red on him, only small details, the mask was interesting though so it did catch her interest a little bit.
"Why thank you. Nice mask". Her clear and somewhat regal voice spoke very clearly. She just sat on the end somehow being very comfortable, balancing her ninjato on her knee and resting her arms upon it. She used her right arm to lean her face upon and just looked at him with her golden eye. Even though it gave the idea of "stare into your soul and every thought" kind of feeling.

Gray remained relatively unfazed at the reaction of the girl as he was kind of expecting them to be surprised. Despite this his visible eye widened in obvious panic as the girls first comment was about his mask. it then dashed to the left slightly as he ensured his hair was doing it's job of covering his eye and scar. He unconsciously concealed the mask with his hand in what appeared to be nervously rubbing his shoulder. DAMMIT! ALREADY! I really need to put that somewhere less obvious where i can still see it when i need it. "Right. my. mask. Thanks."

"You're... welcome." Looks like one of those White Fang masks. While Akel did see the similarities she just shrugged them off because he didn't seem bad. She hopped off of the handle of her scythe and put the ninjato back in its rightful place. The scythe being pulled from the ground and folding back into its storage form and now residing upon her right thigh. "I thought I was the only one who would train at night."

As she got off her scythe Gray removed his hand from his mask and went into a casual shrug as he heard the girls comment. "I have a rough time sleeping so I come down here to tire myself out."

"Huh..." was the only response that she gave. She moved her right hand under her chin as she wondered what was the time was. "Can't be that late? I mean I only slept for a few hours... I think." She shrugged her shoulders since it wasn't a big worry about the time for her. "Would you like to have a little bout/spar whichever you want to call it. Nothing serious, just for fun." A bit of a fight would be better for her then just solo training.

With a grin Gray pulled twin swords from his hips and inserted his index fingers into the rings on the hilts before he started spinning them around on his fingers. "A sparring match? Always better than practicing alone isn't it?" As he finished his statement he extended his fingers and the blades stopped spinning. Now held in a standard grip. "I accept."

"Cool" Akel took a few steps back, she took out her scythe from her thigh and let it transform into its scythe form. She gripped it in her right hand, lined it up with her forearm with the blade facing the same direction as she was. Her left hand moved out forward and she kept her hand semi-open, she bent her knees slightly and let out a deep breath. "3, 2, 1. Begin!" She spoke loud and clear to make sure it was understood that the spar had begun.

As soon as he heard the word begin Gray slammed the hilts of his swords together and leaped backwards to gain some distance. As he was moving back he reached towards the tip of one of his blades and pulled a bowstring from it. Putting the string on the other swords tip Gray landed and held out what was now Lamnia's bow form. Meanwhile his right hand was reaching back to draw an arrow from the quiver on his back.

Akel wasn't impressed, not only did he just gain distance but he should of had the bow form out BEFORE the match started. This slightly ticked at her but she let it slide. She ran forward, making sure to pay close attention to the arrow because she would have hell hitting them once they left the bow. However it wasn't a senseless rush, she kept her scythe at the ready to deflect any incoming arrows should they arise.

Gray smiled as he saw his opponent rushing him. Pulling out one of his fire dust arrows Gray aimed at the ground at his opponent's feet and let fly. Hopefully the force from the explosion would knock her onto her back [10%damage]. If so Gray would then unstring his bow and swap to glaive form so that he could pole-vault into the air and come crashing down on top of her.[10%damage]

Akel was thankful at the fire dust arrow, the red stuck out in her vision quite easily. She used her scythe and did an aileron roll. Her scythe nicked the feathers of the arrow sending it spinning away from her without any troubles. Still, in her roll she landed on her feet, using her left shoulder into a parkour roll and stared at him. Her bright gold right eye somewhat menacingly it gave off the slight vibe off a wolf hunting a scared prey.

Gray's eyes widened for a moment as he saw his arrow nicked out of the air and away from it's target. Noticing the intimidating gaze again Gray grunted and removed the bow string splitting his swords again and spreading his feet. He held his arms at a shoulder-width and let the tips of his swords reach the ground and locked eyes with Akel. Refusing to be intimidated anymore and waiting for her to make her move.

Akel honestly wasn't impressed with his attempt of intimidating him. Partly because he didn't have anything that really stood out in her vision. She stood up and drew her ninjato with her left hand from her scythe. Putting the weapon onto her thigh and grabbing one of the fire dust catalysts with her right hand from her belt, she switched the catalyst and the ninjato into her opposite hands. Akel pointed the ninjato at him and her eye(s) to which left eye was only visible and her hair turned the same color. "Blood" started to form around her and so did her blade glow red, she gave a thrust and what was only droplets of "blood" then went into a thin spike like object about the same width as her ninjato's blade. It rushed at Gray with breakneck speeds before she squeezed her left hand and the spike turned to fire, from the back where Akel was into fire speeding along the spike. [Aura damage 15%]

As the spikes of blood flew at his Gray dashed down to the right in order to evade and then he ran down the length of the spike as fast as he legs would carry him. Gray pretended to go for a swing before dropping to the floor and swinging his leg at Akel's hoping once again to get her on the ground.[3% damage] If this worked Gray would then pop up and bring his swords into her back while she fell [5% per blade] and then reverse his grip to bring them back down onto her stomach [5% per blade]

Akel put her ninjato back into her scythe before pulling it out, she didn't wait for him to attack first as she swung her scythe side at his waist, hard, and the dial on her scythe and the blade became engulfed in flames, [Aura damage 9%]. She would go into a quick spin while Gray would be no doubt off balance and slammed him with the backend of her scythe [Aura damage 6%].

Seeing the wide scythe swing coming Gray leaped into the air and cleared the scythe making an awkward swing at his opponents head. He couldn't get much force into the strike but it came out quickly and would probably hurt a little. [2% damage]

'fast bastard' were the thoughts that came into Akel's mind. She dropped her scythe and without a weapon for her semblance to use the same blood molecules appeared all around her. With the sword strike coming in she released her semblance. Her whole body seemed to send spikes in every direction. This attack was sure to hit since he was still in the air and omnidirectional attacked are pretty hard to dodge without cover. [Aura damage 4% per spike, 10 spikes in his direction + knockback from the force of the spikes.]
