Hey guys:
Seeing as the Hat Draw won't be happening any time soon, I figured that it would be faster to just set up a team instead of waiting for more characters. So, the character that's looking for a team is Setsuna Antiqua (http://rwby-rpg.rwbyfanon.com/index.php/topic,818.0.html), a Beacon first year who is chivalrous and open-hearted to all. Team leader can be decided later.

I should preface this as being my first play by post rp 'thing,' I'll try but don't expect too much from me.

To be honest, I've had my eye on Calen for a while now as he went through the process at the same time as Setsuna, so I'm more than happy to welcome you to the team, Calen Shrike.
Also, don't worry about your first time rp'ing. You'll be fine.

Aztec Gold (ASTC/ASCT) is the best I can come up with right now.

Also keep in mind that, while having the leader's initial first is neat, it is not necessary.

Well, as I said, Aztec Gold is the best I could come up with. Really not good with this naming rule, so would be obliged if someone could come up with a better name.
Also, if it wasn't already apparent, whenever I use green text, it's Setsuna talking, not me. I'm gonna assume the same for the rest of you?

But on a more serious note I think ASTC is really good and am complete cool for the blind leading the blind with Anna tho Setsuna or Taro probably have the best personality for it.

Actually, since both Setsuna and Taro's been nominated... I wonder if Taro has any objections to Setsuna being the team leader? Maybe a bit of personal preference here, but in the end it's up to you. I can probably rp a bit better is all.
With two members being happy-go-lucky, I don't think any amount of racism from Calen will trigger us. Well, maybe Anna will take slight offense...

Riiiight. Well, hopefully one of the two peacekeepers in the team are around at all times.
Just need the approval of both the team name and the election of a team captain, and we're ready to roll.
Edit: On second note, do we need approval from any mod or do we just post to the Team list when we're all good?

I'm fine with Taro being leader. Also fine with him not being the leader. Team names...

Good on you Monster, Setsuna is now leader because everyone else stepped back.
Not going to lie, super tempted to be FAZ(S)E clan but my vote is still with ASTC.

Yeah, I'm kinda in favour of ASTC as well, but ideas can't hurt any-one.

Ok, so it seems that we are in favour of ASTC/Aztec Gold as our team name/colour, and Setsuna as team leader. As soon as I reach my computer (posting from my phone), I'll have our team requested to join the team list.
Edit: Just posted in the team list! Hopefully will get reviewed and posted onto the official team board soon!

So next is initiation right? Does anyone want to run it or do we have to yell at a mod to help us out?

You have NO idea how much I would love to yell at a mod, but I think we're gonna be winging this as well. However, it might be better if we got a PM chain started before we started posting our initiation.

That, or yell at a mod - which, in my experience, is not the most reliable way to go about it.

So if we are going to be running this ourselves we could personalise it quite heavily, unless someone has something already planned. Is there anything people want to happen to their characters? Or not to happen yet I guess?

Absolutely nothing planned at all, so let imaginations run wild I guess. Don't think it's a good idea to plan here though, so what I might do is close this thread down (we already have completed team list and stuff like that) and create a PM chain?
