CHARACTER
Name:johnathan Likos Grimm

Species and Gender: wolf fuanus/male
Symbol:wolfs head on a shield with two swords behind them
Occupation:Student first year
Appearance: Jonathan hair is a dirty blonde the color of sand his wolf ears are the same color as his hair. His eyes are a deep amber color. Johnathan stands at a height of 5ft 3in he is very muscular due to constantly being working on projects in a forge he has made. Jonathan wears a battered locket around his neck as a reminder of his mother. He normally wears a black trench coat with wolves along the bottom, the left arm is ripped off to fit his weaponized arm through, a red shirt, blue jeans and black combat boots. His left arm is covered in etchings of wolves, birds and weapons.
when going on missions Johnathan wears a medium amount of armor mostly along his shins arms and legs this armor is very light to give him flex ability each plate is covered by birds, bats,wolves,lions, rodents and snakes and weapons.

History: Jonathan grew up as a nomad with his family living in forest, caves and on occasion on when they came across a town where fuanus were treated decently they would stay in a town. As he grew older his family finally settled down around age 7 when his father was hurt very badly by a large pack of Beowolf where they all saved thanks to a wondering team of huntsman and huntressess.
This moment is what set Jonathan to start on the path to become a huntsman. As he got older Johnathan began to notice how faunus where hated by humans at times but mostly dealt with it as it came till one fateful night when he was on his way home from combat school he came across a group of humans burning down his home most were the parents of the other students that hated fuanus angered that he was going to school with their children and that his family would not intimdated. Johnathan rushed into his home when the group left before the firefighters showed up worreied for his family who were trapped inside
He was able to get to his father out and went back.to get his mother as they got close to the front of the house a beam collapsed and pinned his left arm and critically injured his mother and nearly distroyed his arm. It was then that firefighters got there and got them out. While in the hospital his mother gave him her locket. Jonathan's teacher in weapon forging Bastion met him and his father on the schools request to make sure he was able to continue with school due to living down the road from him and he took special interest in him due to being a less noticeable fuanus himself. Upon learning of the condition of his students arm and his determination to continue his dream helped him creat his weaponized arm. As well as helping him make a brace for his father injured leg that allowed him to travel once more safely no longer feeling safe in town. Jonathan then stayed with his weapons master's place while he attended school till he was accepted into becoan.
Personality: Jonathan tends to keep to himself at first till he knows people. Though if the draw his curiosity he will go out of his way to speak and find out about that person. He always has a book with him and is always drawing or building something. Jonathan can not stand those that pick on others and will become very vicious to any one friend or not that does so.
Aura and Semblance: Jonathan aura behaves like fire takes it starts out red with basic usage and when using a lot it will normally change to either yellow or blue. As for usage Jonathan tends to use it mainly for shielding. He can use the danger sense of aura though it is finicky at best for him as he tends to rely on his other senses instead to conserve aura consumption.
Semblance: Jonathan's semblance is the ability to create motion in things that have no life. In particular the animal and weapon etchings in his arm, armor, and sword. Johnathan is able to to bring the smaller animals fully to life and communicate with them as if having a normal conversation others will just hear normal animal noises unless Johnathan wants others to hear them. As for the larger animals he can only bring them partially to life. Johnathan normally uses the larger animals to grab others weapons and trying to disarm them or hold his enemy for his team to finish off. He can also pull forward the weapons on his armor and armor though these weapons only are only good for about three or for hits.
Combat Behavior: In direct combat Johnathan style is a mix of brutality and strategy when he strikes he hits hard and goes for the kill if it is a grim and to subdue his enemy if human or funuas. When on stealth he tends to hide and locate a opportunity to strike. When he fights in close he uses his weaponized arm to block attacks and has included a collapsible shield in it's design he tends to rely on it and his sword to strike till his opponents expect it. He then switches it up and releases his hidden claws in his weaponized hand and changes his fighting style to a more of a mix between a brawler style and sword fighting mixed with the fire explosives in his sword if he isn't using one of the many weapons or animals on his armor.

Secondary Form: Shield becomes a buzz-saw his sword opens up and allows him to launch exploding disc by pulling a handle connected to his hilt.

First of all welcome to the board. You have already found the discord server so if you need anything just ask there.
But mainly what I want to say is post on the thread when you have added something because just editing doesn't tell anyone it's been changed.

Hey. I'm about to throw a bunch of criticisms at you but most of them are nit-picks and the core of your character so far is absolutely fine.
Starting with the most nit-picky. Grimm seems to be a really odd sirname for a character in the RWBY universe. Absolutely nothing wrong with it. Just seems an odd one.
In occupation you need to say which year and which academy you are a student at.
History is where there are quite a few spelling and grammar issues to the point where it is somewhat difficult to understand.
While I can quite clearly see why he would your history doesn't actually have him joining primary combat schooling (Assuming it will be Signal) This seems incredibly worth mentioning since he must have been a really good student to A. Be on such good terms with one of the Teachers and B. Have other students so concerned he will beat them that their parents burned his house down.
Also and this one you are free to completely ignore but I'm going to say it anyway. We do not know if primary combat schools have tournament's as well as Beacon (with the exception of Sanctum in Haven which is definitely a thing)

Would this cover it on aura on color I still have yet to get it set up on his strengths when using it.

Yea other people have changing colours of their aura so I'm it would been fine. I'd only say try to describe it in as few words as possible so rather than 'color starting with red when only a little bit is used red when moderate is used and blue when a lot is used.' Just go 'its normally red but when he uses a lot of his aura it flashes blue.' Because in the current from it doesn't flow well.
