Well things just got ten times more difficult... Rye took a moment to evaluate the situation taking a deep breath behind some nearby cover. The leader seems to have some form of earth control, probably best I deal with him and Oni deal with the new guy... Suntalia will have her hands full with the grunts but she can handle it, she's a big girl. Rye inhaled deeply before calling for his nearby blades sensing their familiar forms in the nearby forest. With that Rye exhaled jumping up landing onto the three nearby blades launching himself into the air, "Oni! Off! I'll deal with him. Santalia! the grunts if you please." Rye landed next to Oni with a soft thud "Deal with the new guy, your the fastest of us, I'll deal with pebble brain here."

Rye stumbled back from the blast onto a knee, swords flying in every direction, "OW! You are so gonna wish that lightning bolt knocked you out lad..." Rye growled attempting to stand but quickly falling back down. His aura crackled a little showing how little of it he had left. OK maybe not as quickly as I thought... Rye winced a little evaluating his options. The boss is gonna be real happy with you dead haha, what was I supposed to be wishing, LAD." A small female stag faunus crept behind a tree with one of Rye's sabers firmly gripped in her hands. Rye smirked to himself nodding to her "I said, You're gonna wish that lightning bolt knocked you out, but a sword will suffice, NOW LASS!" The small faunus swung the saber over her head, the henchman swinging around to only be hit in the face by it. He stumbled back holding his face glaring at the girl. She let out a loud "EEEP!" before kicking the henchman in the tender bits and running back into forest dropping the saber. "Told ya" Rye said kicking the doubled over henchman in the face.

As the sound of thunder and gunshots rang out into the night, Rye slowly slipped to the side of the wagon, the poor faunus inside looked malnourished, beaten, and just plain terrified. Rye gave them a sad smile putting a finger to his lips as he heated his blade with fire dust. This unfortunately seemed to rattle them further, making them back away from the bars in fear screaming out for help. Rye rolled his eyes as he let out a harsh whisper, "Shut your traps and get away from the bars, I'm busting you folks out of here!" With his blade now heated he gave a quick box patterned slash across the iron bar easily cutting through them. With them now detached, Rye pulled the bars with his semblance ripping them from the cart, "GO, NOW!" he whispered ushering them out. As he got the last faunus out Rye saw a man with a blackened face round the corner with an angry glare MY CARGO! with that a rocket went flying towards Rye, "Oh shiitake mushrooms... This is gonna suck..." Rye deflated a little as he quickly pulling out all his blades positioning them in a star formation hoping to shield himself the best he can.

OK, Talia light em up, Oni on me, quick and clean kid's. Rye sent a message out to rest of the team as he readied his blades, If this goes well drinks are on me. Rye launched himself into the air using a ring of swords as a springboard. He landed quietly onto the lead cart and sent out one last message NOW TALIA, BRING THE THUNDER LASS! RYE readied his rapier Quick and clean... Like it's ever that easy...

Rye gracefully walked across his blades traversing from tree branch to tree branch making sure to use as few steps as possible to not tire himself out, Ah a nice brisk night, just like back home Rye sheathed his blades and got into a more comfortable position on the branch. Rye pulled out his scroll and shook his head at Talia's message and chuckled to himself, I told you to bring a jacket but NOOOO, dad's just being fussy huh? :p . Rye begrudgingly took off his warm flannel and sent it over to Talia. No rips, no tears, no stains, that ones my favorite. Rye took a deep breath feeling the cold as he readied his blades for the jump.
Looks like it's show time, Oni, take out the leader, Dia, the nervous one, be gentle, the porch lights on but it looks like no ones home... Rye texted watching the poor lad pace nervously. Both of you remember non lethal, ONI I'm talking to you. Talia, the grunts, I'll work on getting the faunus to safety. Whoever finishes first helps me with the hostages, Ready? Rye texted out hoping Talia caught the flannel. He only vaguely knew her location and wasn't in the mood to search for it later.

CHARACTER

Name:
Inigo Celeste

Age:

Species and Gender:
Male Stag Faunus

Symbol:
Stag head with an overgrown bow and blade on each side

Occupation:
 Beacon Student

Appearance:
Inigo is a 5'7" 143 Lbs guy with a medium build and broad shoulders. He has a rugged yet stoic style look, athletic muscle from a life of labor and discipline but nothing over the top. He has deep blue eyes that show wisdom beyond his years and old soul. He has medium length brown hair that often puts up into a pony tail and short well kept beard. He has a tattoo of Stag like crest on his right bicep, the Stag is the emblem of the village and represents a promise to put his family, the town, and ultimately his home first. The rest of his arm, going down to his wrist, is adorned with a tattooed armor complete with chain mail and plates adorned with runes and roots giving it an earthy nature theme to it. He often wears a plaid jacket lined with fur with a hoodie under it. In milder weather though he tends to stick with a simple plaid flannel and the occasional vest and tie if he feels like dressing up.  Choosing to stay light he sticks to Kevlar and chainmail under his outfit mainly relying on his semblance and aura when the need arises. He wears leather bracers, gloves, knee-pads and boots for some extra protection but not much else. While out of combat he leaves behind the pads and the rest of his under armor but nothing else really changes. During school hours though he wears the uniform as it should but is quick to change back due to feeling uncomfortable without his flannel.

History:
Inigo grew up in a small forest town in the north side of Vale, raised by his two parents Libra and Aries along side his younger brother Leo. Libra and Aries were huntsman who decided to retire early and raise their children away from the hustle and bustle of the main cities, but they weren't the first, this little village in the forest was a common destination for huntsman who wanted to raise children after retiring. Throughout his childhood Inigo always strove to grow up as quickly as possible and become a huntsman like his parents; he loved learning to smith with his dad and learning to heal from his mom. Inigo spent most of his childhood hunting with his father, learning to track his prey and avoid grimm and if necessary fight them. Hunting was his life, but becoming a huntsman slowly became more and more of a dream, as a member of the village he had a job to do, he was now a provider, a defender, and now a medic for his village, they needed him. On his 18th birthday, after a successful day of hunting he noticed a crowd, a courier was accepting forms for the beacon acceptance test. Once he figured out what was going on he said "Screw it, I got nothing better to do...". Quickly wrote up his credentials and sent it off. A few weeks later a ship arrived bringing the applicants to the test site. So he put down his smithing tools and took the ship "Maybe this will be fun and hey who knows maybe I'll become a huntsman" he said sarcastically; and he did and he loved it, he finally had the chance to test the skills he trained so hard to gain. As happy as he was he knew it wouldn't last, so with a somber heart he returned to his daily life of hunting. No longer than 3 weeks later he received a letter explaining how he received a letter of acceptance. Hunting animals and hunting grimm were not that far apart in discipline, but Inigo was by no means expecting to actually get in. He was instantly intrigued with the idea of this becoming his new profession, "Surely there were others capable of hunting for food besides him, and he only took a shift at the guard when his father was working late, mother could run the apothecary without me right?... No I couldn't leave they needed me... but this is such a promising offer..." Inigo was torn between obligation and opportunity, so he went to the one place he knew he could get an answer from, home. That very night Inigo went to his parents for their opinion on the matter. They were ecstatic at the news but, after they heard his plight they understood his grief "Inigo, you are overreacting, yes, you are hunter, but so is your cousin Virgo, and regarding your other jobs, you only serve at the post when your father is working late, and I may be old but I'm not senile! I can handle the apothecary by myself." His mother lectured with a understanding smile, "My son, you are a fine smith and carpenter an even finer warrior, make us proud" his father nodded and shoved him out the door. With a new sense of drive he was off, but before he left he got a tattoo to commemorate his departure, a stag on his right bicep and roots with runes of luck across his arm.

Personality:
Inigo is by all means your overprotective big brother, you mess with the ones he loves you're gonna pay. Earning his care though is tough considering his distrust of new people, he will protect you as it is his duty, but little more. If you earn his favor though he is a very loving and caring ally, he will go to the ends of the earth to keep you safe and happy. Never one to leave an ally in need or an ally at all, he is incredibly loyal and is very forgiving if he sees hope in you. He's a softy at heart but is by no means a pushover in the sight of conflict, like previously stated you mess with him or his loved ones he will mess you up, verbally or otherwise. Wisdom is his strong suite, intellect... eh not so much. He was by no means dumb but school is tough for him, he hated just sitting around, rather than learning about how to fight grimm he wanted to practice it, he wanted to feel the rush of adrenaline not the feeling of spitballs on the back of his neck... He kept a passing grade though. He is an introvert at heart, often disappearing if he deems there are too many people around either to the woods or somewhere where work is needed to be done. He loves to stay busy either smithing, chopping wood, hunting or baking (Don't judge, it calms him). You can often find him fixing other students weapons, giving the result of his hunt to families in need, or giving his friends and the less fortunate his famous apple pies. You might even spot him giving out caramel apples to children if he doesn't see you. He is a fully trained medic capable of ALS and most field based medicine but is working on learning more.  He is a guardian and a creator, he lives to a preserve and protect life, "I live to protect the weak, heal the hurt of those in need, and preserve what's left."

Aura and Semblance:
Inigo's aura has a dark greenish color to it, the color of evergreens on a snowy night. Inigo's semblance is the ability to manifest ethereal armor out of his aura and if necessary send it to others in need to use. The armor is a manifestation of his aura so when it runs out so will the armor. If the armor is over exerted by excessive damage or overexertion of the user, the piece that is being damaged will break. If the armor is broken it will stay broken till the next sunrise.  More often than not it will be in the form of angelic themed scale armor. Summoning the armor costs 10% of his aura and a following 3% for every minute the armor is still manifested. If Inigo is summoning the armor to himself and it being used by him the cost is cut in half.

Depending on the amount of energy and focus exerted the aura will exert a certain level of protection and capabilities along with the dust used:

Falcon Armor (Wind Dust) : Very little protection but high mobility boost, adds wings allowing the user to glide. Focus Level: High Aura cost: 20%

Snow Leopard Armor (Ice Dust): Less than average protection above average mobility boost, added stealth plating allowing the armor to reflect nearby colors (Not invisibility just color adaption) Focus level: Medium Aura cost:10%

Stag armor (No dust needed): Average level protection and mobility boost, Heals the user while active Focus level: Low Aura cost: 5%

Wolf armor (Fire Dust): Above average level protection and less than average mobility boost, allows the user to counter easier either with the armor itself or with the user's weapon Focus level: Medium Aura cost:10%

Bear Armor (Earth): High level or protection, little to no mobility boost, the user cannot be knocked down, stunned or any from of physical cc while using this armor, in this form the user is considerably stronger and heavier if Inigo wishes it to be.  Focus level: High Aura cost:20%

(All extra capabilities are done by modding the armor pieces and dust, Ex:The Wolf armor has added spikes and sharpened plates that allow extra damage and the way the armor is formed allows the user to fluidly counter without flinching and has a flame enhancement. The speed boost is simply the armor moving with/for the user pushing them along, it is Inigo moving the armor that is increasing the speed nothing extra.)

A shield can also be created at will alongside the armor but requires extra aura
Buckler: 2%
Greek: 4%
Heater: 8%
Kite:10%
Tower: 20%

Concentration Key:
Low: Easily able to fight, like being able to remember what day it is while doing another task
Less: Minor focus allowing simpler strikes and counters nothing fancy, trying to remember to lyrics of a song while performing a task
Average: Focusing at it's core allowing movement and muscle memory, Having a conversation
More: Heavier focusing allowing regular movement and instinct, studying something
High: All attention and focus is on this task he can't move but will react anything more and the armor will fade

Dust affects the armor regarding the effects on the user and it's enemies who come in contact with it, Ex.Stone armor allows for more stability and protection and allows the user to exert more force with melee weapons. The armor can move without a host but must be controlled by Inigo with a medium level of focus.

Combat Behavior:
Inigo is a back line support tank hybrid often opting to shoot arrows and move his armor from ally to ally in need from the treetops but, more often than not, he jumps into the fray blade in hand jumping between allies in need. His over-protectiveness is a weakness as much as it is a strength, as a more defensive huntsman, he thrives countering attacks and dueling enemies but, in a team fight he can help allies but only one at a time without throwing off his focus. Countering and supporting take a fair amount of focus and with one small error Inigo can snowball into further issues if he does not take a moment to correct himself and take breath to refocus.

WEAPON

Name:
Sovereignty

Primary Form:
Salvation is A 8 foot tall long bow perfect for distant targets, because of it's size and the amount of force needed to wield it Inigo must be be in a stationary state. When in position Inigo sends 3 ft long arrows weighing around a pound each usually allowing him to carry 10 in his quiver

Secondary Form:
Deliverance is A 4 foot tall compound bow allowing for mid range combat with high damage, with a push of a button the bow can shatter the arrow on release to have a shotgun like effect. These arrows a foot and a half long and weigh half the weight of their older brethren allowing for Inigo to carry about 30 of these with no issue. Inigo is also known for carrying syringe arrows filled with healing mixtures, nothing fancy a few arrows to boosts aura regeneration, basic healing, and some antidotes. Inigo tends to carry about 15 out of the 30 of these.

Tertiary Form:
Transcendence:A 5 foot tall curved long sword allowing for easy parrying and quick engagements. The shape of the blade allows for fluid motions and easy countering.

Dust Functions:
Each form has a compartment the size of a pistol magazine that allows the arrows to have an elemental effect. Fire sets the arrows on fire, ice freezes the point of impact etc. In blade form it will apply an explosive knock back when parrying incoming attacks.

Transformation:
When transforming the bow from salvation to deliverance the bow limbs simply fold in on themselves locking in creating a smaller yet more powerful bow. When moving to transcendence the bows limbs collapse on themselves forming one 5 ft blade.

History:
His father being a smith, insisted Inigo learn to forge his own weapon and swore to only give verbal help and advice. Rather than metal being his medium Inigo found wood and carpentry more fun and easier to work with. After working 2 years from the age 13 he finally worked out all the kinks and crafted his own weapon, not of steel or iron, but of wood. The weapon is made a strong lightweight wood using pulleys and slots rather than gears and metal, with exception of the bladed limbs for transcendence. Over the years it has been modified and adjusted with flame retardant lacquer and metal frame work to keep the bow durable. It may be made of wood but it's quite strong, even after 3 years of hunting it has not rotted, faded or been affected by age or the elements.

Mountain Glenn sounds like a good idea, maybe a search and rescue mission in an abandoned settlement or a huntsman extraction perhaps?

I'm still kinda green in regards to the board so I'd be OK with Rye leading but it wouldn't be my first choice by any means, I like SODR but if Floob has a better name I'm all for it. Rye is now arguing with his mother on how she can't "chaperone" missions as the impromptu leader (thanks Floob...)

I just have a small question, do you have the mods permission to have a CEO, more often than not don't we have to get permission or something for influential characters? I've heard horror stories of people abusing stuff like that and never making it past wip, I could be wrong though.  As for history, nice work, good detail and cool story.I'm still a bit of greenhorn but just hoping to help out. Best of luck, have fun!

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but I've seen quite a bit of characters like this and almost everything about your character needs to change. Fist of all, yes you can be a lion fuanus, no you can not have THAT many characteristics. Your senses can be heightened a tad but, heightened senses, claws, night vision, fangs, AND long range hearing. That not gonna fly sorry. Your gonna need a little more detail in regards to appearance at least eye, hair, and skin color something so we know what your character looks like is all. As for your history, as I tell most new players on the board Don't be Epic! You don't need some heroic sob story for your character to be cool. Your earn your fame at Beacon and your time as a huntsman so chill. Personality could use some work but that's the least of our problems right now... As for your semblance:
Spoiler: ShowHide

First of all very cool idea but that is by no means ever gonna fly. Transformations changing your characters body is forbidden, trust me I pushed for a werewolf semblence and got shot down immediately. Not to mention how you would calculate what would trigger the transformation and what benefits you would receive in that form would be utterly and totally OP. Your a first year and this is your first character, try something simple. If you really want to have a semblence similar to what you have, message me and I'll do my best to help you get it to a more reasonable standard if you want. Take a look at other approved first years and grab a template and you should be fine. Besides that best of luck, sorry if I was harsh but it needed to be said. I hope to you have fun and hope to see you on the board more!

So it looks like you've made a lot of great changes so that's a start so kudos to you for that. If you don't mind I was gonna give a few suggestions. First of all if your a faunus, the board tends to like to know what kind (Only mammals if I'm correct, though I few birds have slipped through, just nothing crazy like a dragon or whatever). Appearance looks fine and I believe that's up to your discretion regarding how detailed it is. Your history is rather short, if you can try to expand it a tad more, did you go to combat school, how did your parents die, etc. stuff like that. A personal and slightly unspoken rule for the board, Don't Be Epic! Your character doesn't need to have a dramatic hero sob story, your fame will come at Beacon, that's the whole point of the board. These of the stories of how your character became known. Sorry if I was blunt but the board has a bit of a Mary/Gary Sue infestation at the moment if I might be so brash to say. As for your semblance that's where it get's tricky, I personally have a telekinetic semblence waiting to be approved that your free to look at a draw from, the board typically asks for statistics regarding your limits and what your semblence is capable of. Rye (my character) can only lift up to 300 ibs without staining himself and only control objects within a 10 ft radius, he is a 3rd year if that put's things in perspective. Combat behavior could use some improvement in regards to more detail, what is she good at, what are her weaknesses, does she work better alone (like a duelist) or is she a tank (like yang) stuff like that. Your weapon also could use a fair amount of TLC to be honest... Typically weapons have only 2 to 3 forms and that includes it's storage form. There have been some who have pulled off more complex weapons but not often. If you can describe how it has so many forms and how it transforms then it should be fine, though weapons are not exactly my field of expertise so you may wish to ask someone else for help in that regard. The biggest thing you need to do is look at other characters that have been approved (probably other first years if possible) and use the template otherwise you can't even get it looked at. Best of luck and have fun on the board!
