Those who've looked at my character profiles know that I like to match my characters up with songs that encapsulate one or more aspects of their personality. What theme music would you give your characters? Feel free to go with one song, a 'main' theme and a 'battle' theme, or however you'd like to answer. Also feel free to answer in or out of character, whichever you prefer.

Literally none of my chars have theme music except pre-Beacon Nathan. None of them have looked into it, either.

Though his family and name have routes in Mesopotamia, his actual personality and look are very obviously more inspired by the western cowboy, though mainly though old Clint Eastwood films. That said, another big part of him is the modernized weaponry and design of the armor underneath his poncho, big cowboy hat, and messy dirty blonde hair. So basically my thought process was "Alright, cowboy. Cowboy = Ennio Morricone." and then I went through remixes to match RWBY's stylistic emphasis on electronic music and drum and base.

Um.
I have thought of using Sis Puella Magica as Cat's theme, but it's way too sinister. It matches Cat's "no absolute rights or wrongs" however. I've also considered a fan made Cantonese version of it, but then he is not nearly as decdicated as Homura. I've decided on using Engi's battle music from FTL: Faster Than Light.
For Infrared, it would be one of the music referencing Accelerator, probably Introducing The Strongest, as her semblance is similar to Accel's.
Smeet Gold(My WIP): EMYIA, when baton pass is on. If some attack plan is in motion, play it with All of you is all of me. This one is definite. Trying to get the timing of the songs right is not easy though.
Edit: One day, maybe I can make a character worthy of the likes of bios, aLIEz, Kill La Kill music, Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann music, and Fairy Tail music.

Honestly I had never thought about giving my characters a theme song or even find some music that they might like so I've really enjoyed looking for some.

Calen is my angsty edge lord OC but I like to think he has a soft melodic taste in music . Maybe something like Lonely by Yoe Mase, I think lines like 'I sold my soul to the Devil/Said “You don’t need your heart”' or 'I screamed out “Can you forgive me?”/Before she said goodbye' as well as 'But in my own time/I will know/That deep inside/We don’t ever let go' tie up Calen's in the end fruitless fight to escape his past without accepting it. Other songs which might fit are Transatlanticism by Death Cab For Cutie, a personal favourite which deals with the often contradictory desire for distance and closeness which Calen struggles with daily. Lastly something like All Along the Watchtower written by Bob Dylan sung by Jimi Hendrix, which explores internal conflict and separation with societal expectations which Calen has to deal with. I did say he was an edge lord.

Anyway Saffron is probably more of glam rock girl, she has the hair for it so maybe something like Bon Jovi's Have a Nice Day or Livin' On A Prayer. Anything that is a bit hell yea but not to fuck authority. So I guess rap would be another good genre so maybe something like i by Kendrick Lamar

Ok, this one may need explaining. Nero has had to deal with racism dealt to her and her parents for most of her life. Being called a stupid animal has formed her violent side to manifest a hunter's form.
