Fully geared up and absolutely bored out of his mind, Tieren Augus lay on the floor of one of Beacon's multiple training arenas. The message had came through on his scroll that he, with three others, had been chosen to form Team Terracotta, or TRTA for short, with him as the leader. As with every team, they'd be put through initiation, but theirs would take the form of a 2v2 on the very arena he was waiting on. A teacher would be observing them, the message warned, and marking them based on their performance as well as their cooperation.

All fine and dandy, but why were they fighting each other instead of getting out and pounding some Grimm heads in? It didn't help that he was the only one here, and there was no sight of the teacher, even after several minutes of searching high and low. With nothing else to occupy his time, he thought he might start warming up anyway, and unslinging his oversized blade, he began the set of movements he'd been doing throughout his huntsman-in-training career.

OOC: So terribly sorry for the delay! Real life and work stuff have left me tapped out.

Robin was a little perplexed. She had heard about initiations at Beacon before, but not one like this. It seemed a little unorthodox to have four people who would be expected to work together fight it out. Though, it also seemed like it would be a good way to discover everyone's strengths and weaknesses.

As she entered the training arena, it appeared that one student had already arrived. The sword he was carrying was ridiculously big!

"Um...hi," she muttered, ever-awkward around new people.

Mae sprinted into the arena from her dorm, and tripped down the stairs leading to the combat area. Dazed and confused, she stood up and said; "I'm sorry that I'm late professor! I got held up in the dorm and--"

She soon realized that there was no professor, and instead there were two students that were supposed to be on her team, a boy--who's name she didn't know-- and Robin Teale--a girl that she had already met and fought beside. "Oh, hi Robin, how are you doing? Look at that, we got put on the same team together. Who's the guy over there? And where's our fourth member?"

"Have you tried looking behind you?", Aoife grinned as she walked past Mae and Robin over to one of the walls. She slipped her shirt off and left it on the floor before walking back over to the others. They didn't seem like a bad bunch, but first impressions weren't always the best, now where they.

"So, I'm Aoife, nice to meet you. Ain't it great that we get to kick each other's asses as our first impressions, what a way to make friends".

Tieren watched the three members arrive. So it was Robin, Aolfe and one more who hadn't bothered to pipe their name up yet. Finishing his sword swing and letting the weight drive the blade into the floor, he let go and sauntered over to where they were gathering.
"So we're all here and that jazz. Name's Tieren. Seems I'm the leader of this team. Whether that's wise, we'll see. Supposedly we're to introduce ourselves but I can't be bothered. Do that yourselves if you want to. Mainly we're here to bash each other's heads in, as Aolfe said. 2v2. Make your own team, I'll join the remainder."
