Appearance: Ebony stands at a 162.56 cm and weighs 63.5 kg. Ebony is typically dressed in her combat outfit, which comprises of a dark brown pants and a long sleeved dark green jacket unzipped. Beneath her green jacket is a tan shirt. Ebony's jacket has different patterns sewn into it, with most of the patterns making out symbols of fire. Ebony also carries a paramedic bag full of combat supplies on missions in the event that she runs out of dust.
Ebony tends to wear her heart on her sleeve, and this shows by how she walks. Whenever Ebony is happy she'll typically hum a song and walk with a happy gait, and if she is excited she'll start skipping and humming even louder. However, when Ebony is sad or feeling gloomy she moves sluggishly and typically doesn't pay attention to wherever she is going.
Ebony has dark brown hair and vibrant green eyes, and she always tries to throw a smile everyone's way. Ebony spends much of her time outside, and this leads her to have tan skin.
History: Ebony was born as the youngest of three children. Both of her parents ran a bakery and for the most part everything was wonderful. Ebony had many friends, and she just loved to spend her time whenever possible. Of course, life changed when the wall broke.
Ebony was a little girl when Mistral was invaded by the Grimm. Honestly, Ebony was one of the luckier ones because her family had been on vacation to Vale during the Grimm's invasion, but her family wasn't left untouched. Her family lost the bakery during the invasion, and more than a few of her classmates and family friends were lost in the carnage. When the family returned to Mistral after the Longest Winter, or what was left of it, they would help colonize the islands by opening a bakery once more. Ebony's family also performed minor acts of charity by providing baked goods to those that had trouble affording food.
Seeing what had happened to her kingdom and what happened to the people around her, Ebony chose to become a Huntress; Ebony never wanted such an event to occur again, and she would rather throw herself into harms way than see so many people suffering. Ebony's family allowed her to continue on her goal so that she would have the power to defend herself in the event that she ended up in a situation similar to what happened to Mistral, for as we all know history can and often will repeat itself.
Ebony would go to a combat school for her training seeing as no one in her family was a Huntsman or Huntress. While there, Ebony would simply be enthralled by the concept of dust; dust, the very energy of life itself. Ebony would be influenced to use dust in her weapon and eventually become a dust mage due to the poetic just of using dust against the enemy of sentient life.
Personality:[/u] The lessons Ebony learned taught her one thing; life is meant to be celebrated. In this vein, Ebony has spent much of her time outside of school socializing with people and performing community service.
Ebony is always in search of a celebration, whether that be a small party among friends or a dancing with a large group of people. Ebony has also made it a habit of dragging her friends to community service events, whether that be soup kitchens or just going to parks to spend time with some of the lonelier people there.
Ebony has also become quite the prankster in her time, and will often mess with friends and family alike. Ebony dislikes cruel pranks though because a prank is supposed to be funny for everyone, and that includes the person being pranked as well. If someone performs a cruel prank then she makes it her business to educate the person on how their supposed to prank people; often by pranking them.
Another of Ebony's hobbies is baking sweets, and this is one of the few times when Ebony isn't so nice to people. Ebony has a rather strong sweet tooth, and someone eating her sweets without her permission is a declaration of war to her and she will proceed to make them the next target of her pranks.
Ebony also has quite the fondness for dancing, and she does it quite often in conjunction with her semblance.
Aura and Semblance:[/u] As a blossoming dust mage, Ebony attempts to train with her aura as much as possible to make her abilities more potent. This has led Ebony to have a higher reserve of of aura, but she still attempts to avoid being hit seeing as her offensive capabilities are through dust.
Semblance:[/u] Light Show
Ebony's semblance allows her to create bursts of colorful lights, akin to a light show. While the only combative purpose of her semblance is to blind a foe, but it's true utility is outside of combat; to entertain and raise morale. After a disaster people are understandably devastated, and a light show to raise spirits or distract children do that they don't have to focus on the carnage.
Ebony will typically play with her semblance to entertain herself and to make her light shows more impressive by honing her control.
Combat Behavior: Ebony tries to avoid staying in one place in combat by dancing between her opponents and hitting them with her whip. Ebony uses her utmost effort to stay out of an enemy's range while making sure they remain in her's. Ebony tends to make herself a distracting target to draw out the fight seeing as ending the fight quickly isn't among her specialties.
Ebony's stamina for dancing between opponents may be good, but she generally tries to avoid taking too many direct hits as injuries will slow her down and make her combat style ineffective.

Primary Form: An electrified whip that Ebony uses to engage her enemies and to stun her human opponents.
Dust Function: Ebony uses lightning dust to give the Astrapi it's electrified state.
History: Ebony designed Astrapi after she saw dancers using props like scarves in their dances.
