Well, if you've got about, say, 500 of the brightest minds strive towards one goal at a time, it's possible. Was the reasonI used. The only advances unique to Islium can be counted on both hands, so if about half a thousand people work towards only one or two goals, with some probably fielded to more menial, non-automated labor, I reckon it could happen. Then again, you're the expert.
