Oh man, that soundslike loads of fun! Being stuck in a traffic jam under the hot late summer sun however is not. I can assure you that much.

I had to go pick up my brother once when there was a huge traffic jam. It was in a taxi though, so I think that my dad, who was also stuck in it, but much further away from my brother's school, had it a lot worse. He was riding a motorcycle. Couldn't have been fun. I pity you as well, Kiith.

Rainy season right now is Vietnam. So it isn't too too hot, but it rains at least once a day. I remember that it rained three times once. Doesn't make calling the Uber too fun either, cus I have to walk around to the front gate.

Mythic: ...At least once a day? Are there times when it rains continuously for several days? And do you bring a small umbrella/raincoat?

Continuously over several days? Nah, pretty sure no. As for the stuff, I don't have an umbrella and my dad has to take the raincoat because motorcycle. So... yeah. Lucky today, I got out of there before it started raining too heavily. Still can't wrap my mind around how big this city is. Very different from the suburbs that I'm used to.

Yeah, big cities are... big. And yes, continuous for several days happened where I live on several occasions, including winter. Sucks 'bout the absence of rain protection where you are, though. But hey, you made it today! Yay!

Well, we're on our way back from visiting my grandmother in the hospital, and there's just this huge section of the road where fhey were working on renewing the asphalt so they redirected the traffic from the right lanes on the left ones, effectively halving the capacity.

Having fun on the Autobahn, ja ja...

They are big. And crowded. And noisy.  But yeah, made it today. Still remember that one time when I was pretty much soaking wet once the Uber pulled up. Really not looking forward to when it rains on the day that I have to walk to my brother's school.

I like rain, I do. Just... only when I'm inside. Oh, and wow, continuous rain.

Yes, because we all know how much fun it is to spend 3+ hours in a car. I feels for ya, broseph.

Mythic: I wish you no such day. And yes, cities are far too loud. Especially larger ones. And really? You don't like rain when you're outside, even if you're protected from it? Also, worse: continuous snow. XD

Well when I'm protected from it then yes. Just that I'm rarely protected from it. As for the city one, I'm in the largest city in Vietnam. So it's pretty loud. Plenty different from usual cities though. Even more crowded, dustier... HCM city is worse than Chicago and L.A by far.

Oh, I like continuous snow. It gets really annoying with the roads and such though.

Man, I have seen pictures of HCM my grandfather took. In the late 70s.  Judging by how bad it looled back then already I can't even imagine how much into a clusterfuck it has evolved from there. Must be absolutely nuts.

Accidents on the road also kill twenty-something people a day. No surprise, traffic is terrible.

Speaking of photos, I searched up Ho Chi Minh city on Google and looked at the image results. This is what I got:

Pretty, hmm? I have no idea how the hell they got that shot because this place does not look like that. Again, I'll take a picture or two for you guys to see sometime. Differs greatly from the image above.
