Mmkay! Now for the first scene:

The reporter is at the docks, scanning the crowd to jot down notes of everyone she can see.
Auctioneer: Looks tense, pressed for time
Mechanic: Arrives at a leisurely pace, yawning. Quote from the notes: 'She looks lazy. But...?'
Police: Journalist is surprised that she's coming on board, notes that she looks like a strict woman.
Sick-looking businessman: He wears a silk top hat, looks sick
Mafia: Just had a run-in with said businessman. Notes: 'He's so nosy/noisy (can't tell). I hate such an idiotic man like him.' Circled.

Any first opinions or guesses?

Definitely the Auctioneer would be most stressed, diamond going to be stolen after all, so he isn't out of character so I can cross him out for the first scene.

Mechanic seems like a likely suspect but lacks motive

Police: Can cross her out for now, she isn't out of character either, she is probably there to protect the diamond

Businessman: Likely suspect, sick but boarding a ship?

Mafia: So far, seems like a prime, but based on what the Mafia said, interesting words from a business man, so Mafia is one, but not prime

I'm gonna keep a close watch on the policeman and businessman. They trigger me when I think of the situation.

Well then, off to Scene 2:

The party inside the cruise ship is now starting, but the auction has not yet. Currently, the magician is performing her tricks. Journalist notes: 'Great magic! Amazing doves!' Also wearing a silk top hat. The journalist then notes that the starting time is being slightly pressed. Police officer is tense with rigorous caution, glaring at the rowdy mafia. New character: The politician. He spilled some of his wine. Journalist wonders whether or not he's lacking sleep. Notes: 'He's clever, popular, and can't drink much.' He brought along a doctor, who urges him to take his meds. Notes about the doctor: 'She is a mysterious lady. I can't understand her.' Somewhere else, the gentle waitress (Notes are just: 'What a pretty girl') recommends wine with champagne, but the actress, another new character, orders whiskey on the rocks. Notes about actress: 'I think she's a very rich wealthy person'

Finally, the diamond finally debuts and you can bid for it. The network of security has no gaps, an 'impossible crime' to commit. Eight people place their bids, four of them being characters we know. Actress, accompanying word is 'greed,' politician, accompanying word is 'wealth,' mafia, accompanying word is 'disgrace,' and waitress, even though she probably has little money compared to the others. Accompanying word is 'foolishness.'

The magician gives me worrying thoughts while the waitress could possibly get close they have now been added to my watch list.

Two people with silk top hats... interesting... But one boy one girl, suspicions now lie on the business man, who has yet to place a bid. Perhaps the business man is androgynous.

Police is being natural, so is the mafia, Police doesn't seem interested in the diamond.

Politican and Doctor, a Politican seems to be busy, taking meds.. what kind? Insomnia perhaps? Not much on Doctor.

Waitress, interesting character, she won't be crossed off yet as she bids on the diamond despite having less than almost everyone.

Actress, doesn't seem to be a likely suspect for now. No clear motive.

Galileo will admit that was a really fast reaction, He did a quick impression of Ismael, nice mask, seems like a nice person.

"O-oh thank you um..." Galileo said in his most innocent female voice,  which will be very convincing.

Bullshit thinking he's a nice person from looking at the mask. That shit should scare you.

XD, they're different people, trust me. Different hats, same room same time, and they look drastically different as well.

One thing that sticks with me is the fact that the actress orders whiskey on the rocks instead of the wine & champagne, leading me to believe that she either needs the ice for something that happens later on, or that the wine is poisoned, which would be why the politician is feeling drowsy. Or she just likes whiskey on the rocks and I'm looking too much into it. This was explicitly stated to be confusing to the journalist though.

My opinions on the first scene: Mechanic seems suspicious. The businessman and the mafia seem suspicious as well, as they've communicated.

2nd scene: I would pay attention to the fact that the starting time is being pressed. Politician fits into this somehow, but I'm not sure if the actress and doctor are in cahoots or just the actress and the doctor is innocent. Or the whiskey thing is completely off and the doctor's the one poisoning him. Or they're both fine. Of course, waitress is suspicious too. Seems to be buying time maybe? That would coincide with the starting time being pressed, and what happens next.

As for the Mystery, I say go Judge Dredd on 'em all and just go in shooting!

For the first one, I have no idea what you're talking about. For the second one, there's actually a scenario where they could all be guilty, so... y'know, that might not be the absolute worst plan.

We had swimming today, the teachers for two periods decided to skip out on school so had free time, in which one of the guys decided that he was going to hang around me to crack less than appropriate jokes and do card tricks. And then mess with me. Yeah that part was a little annoying. But I got a few slaps in, so...

This is the creepy high school kid I was referencing. Unless I got your grade level wrong and it's different in Vietnam, in which case putting a middle schooler through a wall would be much easier. XD
