"Oh, the boss? You don't wanna know the boss, he's reeeeeeally scary. Scarier than you even!" The suit said, smiling wryly as he felt around for his hat, finding it missing he searched his other pockets to find out that his silver pocket watch was also missing. "Hey! You brats better give me back my watch and hat or else...OR ELSE I'LL GET REAL AND POUND YA ALL TO THE GROUND!"
Kei couldn't help but let out a snicker while she held up the watch, letting it dangle around like a pendulum as she impishly grinned at the man. "Why don't you just tell us who you're working for and all should be fine and Dandy mr...uhmm..
"Slate, you damned punk. Name's Slate. Now, as to why we need the briefcase let's just say there's a deal that needs to be done or else all hell's gonna come loose."
"Illegal deals are bad, ya know? Now, I guess I might as well ask one of these other punks since they're scared out of their wits of my friend here.
"Oh, they're not scared of this oaf right here...The boss wouldn't just let any punk take care of such a delicate task.'
That's when Kei saw it, the man somehow managed to keep his brass knuckle silverballer while being dragged up and hid it in his coat. Now he brought the somewhat tiny gun out and smiled with utmost confidence, a complete turnaround from his earlier cowardly demeanor. The whole thing was a feint, a ruse. But for what? Scurrying away, some of the other white suited men dragged their friends away as Slate held the gun by the barrel and locked his knuckles into place, aiming for a gut punch at Mithra.
"They're scared of me!"
Gripping the knuckles in his hand his body rippled with a gray aura before all of it concentrated into his fist, releasing all the pent up energy in one fell swoop as he connected a punch with Mithra's stomach, her iron grip loosening up as he dropped 3 stories down and crashed into the pavement with a loud 'thud.'
Kei stood over the man who seemed to be dazed from the fall and looked over him curiously, poking him with a nearby stick to check if he was still moving.
"Well that was anti-climacti-GaH!
Flying into a nearby wall, Kei groaned as the force of the impact knocked the wind out of her while Slate picked himself up and brushed the dirt off his suit after punching the girl. Extending a hand towards Zwei he motioned to the hat and aimed his gun at the masked boy with the most unamused look on his face. Aura rippled through his body once more and focused itself in his gun, accompanying the shot that aimed straight for Zwei's face a moment later.
