Just curious as to what the legal drinking age is for Vale, as well as the other countries. Curious wether we're going with 18 or 21, need to know for one of my characters , they're gonna drink either way, this just determines how openly. I do imagine the campus is a no go either way.

I believe we decided that it was going to be 18 for Vale, but I'm not 100% positive on that. Either way, sticking with 18 is probably your best bet.

I imagine it'd be 21 in Atlas what with all the military order stuff, while someplace like Vacuo is probably more relaxed about the whole thing.

The whole 21 drinking age is regarded as a fuckin' joke by the military, in my experience. Only reason you see punishments for it is the necessity of maintaining good order. With the level of influence Atlesian military officials have, I'd say make the drinking age the same as the age of enlistment.

Until further notice, it is 18 for each kingdom. Player made settlement's age restrictions can change from place to place, but generally are encouraged to follow the kingdoms examples.

Perhaps you could make it like in Japan where there's an age restriction but it isn't really reinforced.

If your character is caught drinking underage, they will be punished. If you are drinking at ALL on the academy grounds, you will be punished.

Does that only apply to students? Because we've seen grizzled Huntsmen (Qrow) drink on school grounds (and literally everywhere else) with impunity. Come to think of it, I think Qrow has more scenes with him drinking than without.

Ok so the actyal consumption of alcohol isnt allowed. Would there be a punishment for beind drunk on campus
 E.g. a student goes out to drink and returns drunk because you know. They live there. Would that warrant a punishment?
