"Just a little more. At the bottom of the path." The path she was referring to was the man-made path that crafted into the cliff. It zig-zagged down the rock wall at a point where it was less like a cliff and more like a hill. Even still, it was extremely steep. A slip could cause a love tumble, but it was manageable with careful steps.

The pair, or trio, depending on what you're counting, stood at the top of the path overlooking the Emerald Forest. Heading down the path meant exiting campus grounds. ".. then a few hundred feet along the cliff wall." Kaali pointed in a general direction as she continued her answer, but from the top of the cliff, there was no way to see what she was even pointing to.

As Kali further clarified where their arena was, Juno couldn't help but raise a skeptical eyebrow. Why would they have to go so far out if they were just sparring? Weren't they at risk of running into grimm? Hell, what they were doing was already against the rules. How much trouble were they going to be in once they were found out?

"So how often do you come out here?" Juno inquired, taking a second to try and follow her index finger. All he saw was a section of cliff obscured by mist from the nearby waterfall. Sure, the grimm in Emerald Forest weren't much of a challenge, but fighting them at all was risky. One or two grimm could quite quickly become ten or twenty.

"Never." Kaali lied. "It's against the rules!"

The party had just made it to the bottom of the cliffside now and were walking along the cliff wall. The cliff side was beaten and battered from any number of stray explosions and the like over the years. A fair amount of loose rock and dust lay all along the bottom of it because of it. The forest to their right showed the same signs. Random trees exploded in various directions, or simply a torn stump from where a tree once was. The Emerald Forest hates people, but it's a forest, so what's it gonna do?

"It'll be fine though. Just need to come out here so nobody interrupts us. Hopefully. There it is." Kaali pointed ahead. The treeline backed further away from the cliff edge and created something of a round clearing, though there wasn't much sunlight getting through the cloudy skies. Along the cliff in this opening was yet more rubble, but behind that was the hint of some kind of cave, or maybe just a recess. Regardless, tons of stone blocked the path.

As they entered the "arena", Kaali began stretching her arms in preparation. However her attention was focused on the treeline as she scouted for any especially close Grimm.
