Appearance: Lix is a 158cm tall lady with a lithe lean stature. Lacking in body fat but still enough to retain a soft and squishy look, her milky white skin and smooth skin seemingly seem to shine like a mirror. Her tender round sky blue eyes contrast her surprising black hair, which flows in curly locks upon her round face with no noticeable cheekbones down to her shoulders. Average weight is 56 kilos. Her small size in both the feminine areas and height would make one believe she is actually younger than 17.
Her typical outfit, which works as her combat outfit as well, consists of a white denim dress as the base, everything else works around it to make it not look like a simple dress. Lix wears a leather shawl that is up to her upper arm, ending about halfway between the elbow joint and shoulder to give herself a bit of protection. A black ribbon with golden lacing at the ends ties Lix’s shoulder length hair in a low ponytail that starts at the back of her neck in a pretty bow, with the ends pointing down. Wearing a satin white glove in her right, and an odd looking black one on her left, Lix leaps into battle wearing stylish and effective brown leather boots with a click to their step. A belt stashed with removeable box pockets is filled up with dust canisters the size and length of her middle finger is strapped to her waist, leaning a bit to one side due to a certain weight on it.
History: Eldest Daughter of the age old family known as the Reinhardt's, known for their incredible physique and undying will. Oh and also their incredibly jolly laugh and the fact most of the family tree are male. The only females are the wives of the men of the Reinhardt's, with the only exception being Lix's many greats grandmother, who looks more like a female version of every male in her family. Living and home schooled in a castle somewhere in Vale, they have relative contact with the main city and the outer forests that surround it. They also help keep Grimm away.
Being the smallest in size, and only petite female besides her mother, Lix has grown an immunity to the sight of half naked muscle men with chest hair and basically anything that describes them as manly in social standards. Oh and the fact they have pec control. However her small stature often confuses the outsiders of her family the fact that Lix is the eldest, with her younger brothers, Nix who is 16 and Wix who is 15, are relatively taller than her, and are bigger. Having grown use to it however often makes her wonder if she could ever see anyone smaller or at least a similar height.
Lix grew up in the Reinhardt castle, a castle still retaining the cobblestone medieval architecture, with towers looming over the forest and battlements to easily look over the grounds. The castle itself, serves as a watchpoint for Grimm of the more dangerous kind, but still relative enough for a team of well trained Hunters and Huntresses to keep at bay.
Lix suffers a rather, polar opposite life. While her opportunities are plentiful, whether to follow in the footsteps of her family to become great hunters, or to pursue a more academic life or perhaps a calm life selling baked goods like her mother. Whatever her decision, Lix remains uncertain, and wouldn't you know it, the stress broke her and unleashed her aura. Her family persuaded Lix to head for a combat academy, but she declined, being unsure of her decisions still.
Lix became rather solitary after that, keeping away from dinners and locking herself in her room, often you see her doing stuff like reading in the astronomy tower which happens to be the library as well, or staring at the stars, often in tears. Lix could either give into peer pressure or run. At least.
Well that was until her uncle Van decided to pay a visit. While most of the family stays in Vale's castle, there is the one in Mistral, which is even older, and her uncle Van oversees its operations. Case in point, Uncle Van managed to push for Lix to attend either Beacon or Haven before school year starts. Unable to argue, Lix retreated to her quarters, but have made her decision to go to Beacon, probably her first firm decision.
One fine day, in preparation to enter Beacon, she went out with her uncle Eugen. In the forest, she found a raw dust crystal ore and touched it. Her uncle Eugen was with her and stared at how the crystal seems to react with Lix's aura. Next thing you know, Lix's hand was on fire but she felt no burning. Then the crystal explodes, causing her uncle Eugen to lose an eye in protecting her from the explosion. Her uncle however did not lose hope, and supplied her crystals, and seeing how her aura works. Before long Eugen had helped Lix discover her semblance.
As for how she got her job, she wanted to get herself some extra cash so she asked Beacon admins to apply for a part time job.
Personality: Lix is a delicate flower in physical sense but with an expansive mind. While she may lack proper decision making, she does not lack in awareness and consciousness, and is able to do things smartly and wisely. With plenty of books in her possession, she has grown to be academically strong, but undermines her physical capabilities, though she does keep fit and maintains relative stamina, hence has always been, a capable marathon runner.
At points, she may sound whiney, or perhaps nervous or afraid, is because of who she is, a very indecisive person. Afraid of making bad decisions, afraid of the consequences, afraid that she harms others. Hesitating and stuttering fill her speech patterns. Even speaking confidently is not the easiest thing for her.
Lix is well known however, for having a strong mental psyche, while she may lack the physical prowess her family holds, she makes up with having a strong mental mind and ability to keep cool in really dangerous situations, and unknowingly to her, is when she makes the best of her decisions. A certain level of stress keeps her shyness and uncertainty down.
Lix has grown to be rather, immune to male attraction, she is still straight but the fact her household is full of people who make can gorilla faunus feel inferior in manliness, makes her very immune to the flirting and man skin shows. This however also results in a lack of male consciousness, meaning her actions barely show any signs of restraint around males, and she often forgets that there are even any males around. In contrast she has an increased curiosity in females, due to the lack of any other than her mother, and tends to be shy around girls due to her insecurities about female socializing capabilities. As much as she is incapable of making female friends, she is very capable of making male friends.
Lix likes baking and pogo as a hobby, and writes her own small story ideas in her diary.
Aura and Semblance:Her aura is a Lime Green color and her semblance, is unnamed but dubbed by her uncle as “Spells”.
Spells allows dust activated by her aura to act much more differently than most usages of Dust. One notable difference is that she gains free range of her dust usage, making her resemble a sort of magician when using it, or someone with a semblance to control the elements themselves. Lix can create intricate shapes and bend them to her will, as long as her aura’s energy is laced into the creation, unlike weapons that use Dust which maintain a fixed outcome.
The last notable difference between her semblance and regular dust usage is that, her semblance requires dust crystals. Unlike most canisters that use the powdered Dust, her semblance requires Dust crystals in order to actually work. It is where she draws the powers from after all, for without Dust her semblance is useless. Dust crystals, unstable as it may be, are stabilized under Lix’s semblance and allow her to drain the energy required to do Dust things. But after a certain limit, the crystal becomes a primed grenade and hence unless taken care off by disposal, things will go kaboom, well actually it will still go kaboom when disposed.
But as of now, due to the recent discovery, the only few things she is capable of is the usage of creating a fireball that has to be thrown or it just stays in her hand, and a conical spray of ice that easily freezes the floors.
Combat Behavior: Lix is a very interesting fighter. Wielding a shield and special glove, Lix is not a common fighter, nor is she a good one. A novice in the world of combat, her instincts taught her one thing, how to run. Lix is a hit and run type of attacker, using her shield to pogo in to strike, and pogo out to safety. What she lacks in power, she gains in mobility, her pogo shield allowing her to easily navigate areas, whether it would be cliffs or an arena. Lix is a patient fighter, but is uncertain of timing once in awhile. Lix however under certain stress can do it.
Lix relies heavily on dust to do damage, and even then she is not fully capable of using it and her semblance, hence making her a very weak link in her party. But give her a more mental standpoint in a battle, and she can help guide you to victory. Trust her to know Grimm, navigation, tactics and more. The best thing she can do without dust, is either run, or do judo throws then run.
WEAPON
Name: Incutio
Primary Form: A black glove with white lines that run down from the knuckles to the fingernails, which at the knuckles connects to a small linear barrel along the wrist and lower forearm. A small pressure pad is located on the palm.
A band running under the launcher, around the mid forearm, with the trigger mechanism using the pressure pad.
Dust Functions:A 3cm wide and 7cm long barrel serves as the core of its dust based functions. A simple hard press on the pressure pad triggers the barrel to shoot a dust canister out.
Unlike most dust weapons, this one uses crystals, resulting in crazy explosions.
Loading is simple, just pull barrel forward and insert like a battery before pulling it back and locking it.
WEAPON 2
Name: Lix's Shield
Primary Form: A 60 by 30 cm yellow heater shield with overlapping areas, the center being out most forward. Behind is a leather strap and a step for her to, step on and handlebars to hold on to. Works well as a battering ram.
Secondary Form: Shield collapses inwards to look like a rectangle, step is folded inwards to prevent accidental knocking. It can be seen hung on her belt as a big yellow box.
Tertiary Form: The step is out and makes it a pogo stick, with a spike tip. Loading dust gives it a bit of power.
Dust Functions: Using kinetic dust, the powdered kind, she basically makes her shield a pressurized pogo stick. While it takes little to make it jump, using enough can turn the harmless pogo into a impact hammer, allowing Lix to make strong punctures or pogo away to higher heights and longer distances.
History: The glove is simple in background, simply her uncle Eugen gave it to her as a gift for entering Beacon. Though it used to use dust powder at first in the canister. But upon discovery of her semblance and its uses, the powder was switched with the raw power of crystals.
As for the shield, being the eldest meant that she is entitled her own shield by her parents, unlike her two younger siblings who have to earn her approval before getting their own. Her uncle Eugen twinked it so it fights her fighting style.
