Griz sized both of his opponents up as he stood beside Ismael. Taking a quick second he whispered a couple of things he knew to his partner."Hey, be careful of Marlon ok? I'm pretty sure that out of the two of us I stand a much better chance against the giant." taking a breath he continued "Lets try and keep those two as separated as possible and we should be fine.".

Addressing the whole group Griz spoke up is a slightly sleep worn voice."So this match will be carried out 2v2. Me, Griz Blancard and Ishmael Skhaos against Marlon Murk and Camelia Sol. These match shall be carried out until forfeit are these conditions to everyone's satisfaction?"

Smiling Griz finished his version of the speech the referees would give at the beginning of the tournament matches he participated in from time to time. Now he would wait for someone to start the match itself.

I think we all did, due to the move. I think some of us switched around. Oh well, on with the show!

Marlon paused mid-stride on his way over to Miss Sol, frowning a little. He quickly unhooked his massive hunting knife from his belt and tossed it to the side of the ring, smiling sheepishly at everyone. "Plumb forgot. Not that I would've cheated against either of ya." Once he was next to the girl, he leaned down by her ear, the dull rumble of his whisper masking his words.

"Alright, Miss Sol, we're both sensible folks. We both lead teams. We oughtta be able to handle this, I reckon. Not sure how much ya know about these two, but I know you're no pushover. The Skaos kid, he'll be all over the place, and Blancard, he likes to hammer away and finish up fast-like. I figure our best bet is stickin' together, and feedin' one another openin's when we see them. Just keep your back to mine, and we'll do alright. Sound good?" he asked with a grin.

Nope the order is fine

As Marlon speaks to his partner, Ismael walks over to his boots and actual puts them on and says, "I think it's fine if I wear these right?". Ismael then gets back to where his teammate is standing and prepares.

Camelia answered the non-monochrome guy with a simple "Yep." She was very ready.

As the hulk of a man trodded over to her and leaned down, she paid close attention to his words. "Sounds like a healthy plan. Though I could, you know... just serve them to you on a silver platter." A sly smile slowly stretched accross her face as she spoke.

She then asnwered Monochrome's question, although it was more for formality than anything else. "As long as you don't use any weapons they might have, why not?"

[Timeworker]

Griz took a deep breath and settles himself to one side of the sparring ring. Looking at his two opponents he sized them up silently as he yawned a bit and stretched. "Whenever you guys are ready to start I'm ready to go."

Marlon chuckled, the sound rippling out like water over stones in a deep brook. Miss Sol was already more fun than he'd expected. "Looks like I'll take some heapin' helpin's, then..." he muttered, winking at her. Spunky gal, wasn't she?

Snapping into a defensive boxing stance and putting his back to Miss Sol's, he waited for everyone else to square up, and put on his stoniest poker face. Once they were all set to go, he opened his leading hand and motioned for them to come on with it. Come in swingin', why don't ya?

Ismael got into a running position and waited for someone to make the first move.

Rolling his eyes Griz walked closer to the two. Emphasizing every pace he made he looked the duo straight in their eyes. "Ok you probably know this but just for reiteration purposes. In the field you don't get to decide who makes the first move. Sometimes you wait for days until you succumb to inevitable and strike first. Waiting for the opponent to strike in spars is a luxury...buuuut since its just a spar I think we can skip the lecture and get straight to business."

Augmenting his strength with his aura Griz blurred away from his spot in a burst of speed to re-appear in the air in front of marlon mid-jump. What he was hoping for was that his sudden appearance would get Marlon to strike forward instinctively so he could parry into a solid strike. However he knew boxing all too well and that defensive stance wasn't promising at all. Backup? Vault off this big guy and see what type of vantage he could get from an aerial point.

Camelia couldn't stop Griz from striking, he was too fast. However, she engaged her semblance, ridding her opponents of the burden of gravity, a pale, dark purple glow emanating from her as she did.

Marlon grunted derisively at Blancard's little tactics lesson. If ya were gonna trash talk, ya could've done better than that...

Better look alive, kid's jumpin' like a durned grasshopper. Unfazed, he just shifted the position a bit to make sure that if his opponent were to try and power into him and drive him back over Miss Sol, he'd be in for a rude wake up call. He made sure to make direct eye contact for a second, his gaze sharp like flint. Better hope Miss Sol was ready for Skaos...and there went her semblance, with Bouncy over here already in mid-air...

Sliver platter, ya said? Seems about right...

As Marlon wasn't paying attention Ismael almost vanishes as he uses his aura to augment his leg strength, and his boots propulsion to launch him. He comes in at Marlon's legs to ram straight into them and flip him.

[Timeworker]

Griz felt gravity lift as Camelia activated her semblance. So THATS what she does...well that just plain not fair. Of course he didn't really mean that, Griz was just a tad annoyed at the fact due to his strength he over shot and rocketed towards the ceiling. However seeing this as a boon he touched the ceiling on the training arena and pushed off as hard as he could with immense strength aiming for Camelia. He had no doubt that Ishmael would be able to catch Marlons attention off Camelia and she wasn't able to stop his speed the last time. If gravity returned it would only add momentum to his airborn strike.  Preparing for collision Griz prepared a kick.
