I'd already decided his semblance would react to clone deaths much like it would her death in case it ever came up, since we have a few characters who can multiply themselves.

Once they chewed through 80 clones, his aura would be at 6100% (75%, she isn't actually dying because that would be 100% buff, times 80). At that point there's no visible Marlon anymore, just this raging smoky black humanoid shape with white hot eyes that kicks the shit out of things and eats battleship rounds like popcorn.

That and the clones die realistic deaths before poofing after 3 seconds, similar to Grimm. Marlon could probably handle it after Yrrch though.

Characters for Rex? Uh... Um... Master Grandible from A Face Like Glass, Professor Port from RWBY, and... Hans Hubermann from The Book Thief. Honestly, I just looked for mentor-type characters.

Characters for Asterisk? Okay, you're going to be a little harder. Leo from Heroes of Olympus, Minho from The Maze Runner, Cress from The Lunar Chronicles. The first two are upbeat, eccentric-ish characters, while Cress is super sweet and helpful. Oh, and a wizard with computers.

Rex: Let's see, how much of his Aura would Nathan need to use to dish out 6100% Aura damage?... (calculates on TI-84 Plus) In a single shot, just over 108% Aura. But if Orchid isn't around, he'd need to strike twice at just about 100%. As for the characters... Papa Bear, Thor in Stargate (before the Asgard commit suicide, of course)(Or maybe Ronan from Atlantis) and... I dunno, Yang? But in male form? Or maybe the Black Magician from The Gamer?

Not bad for the character thing. For me at least, I don't know who 'that girl in Black Hat,' Carter, or Ronan, and Thor isn't exactly something that I'm well-versed in. So I can't really give too many opinions on those. Hyper sarcastic, whatever Blake is, and the craziness GENIUS of UniKitty fits pretty well. As for jokes, eh, I'll make 'em if I think of 'em.

Santa Claus? Asterisk that's actually really touching. Thank you. And I actually can laugh like that, to the point where people have pointed it out IRL. Honestly, Nicholas St North (not sure if you meant this or just the children's character, probably the children's character, either makes sense) from Rise of the Guardians is pretty much my spirit animal 100%. His bits in the movie struck a really deep, resonating chord in me, and put a lot of things into words that I'd been living. As a result, I still can't watch this scene without slightly tearing up.

What he describes is the core of why I write, what brought me to my religious beliefs, what I see as my purpose, what God put me here to do. The movie itself is nothing amazing, but the themes it touches on...man, that's intense for me.

As for your characters, I agree with Natendo, Pepper Potts makes sense. Mai Minakami from Nichijou. Chizuru Honsho from Bleach, even though I haven't seen that last one in years (accuracy may fall as a result) and my tastes have evolved so far beyond it I find everything but the aesthetics and some characters annoying XD.

Professor Port and Dr Oobleck are literally me and my best friend aged like 20-30 years. The other two seem pretty cool and fairly close, although Grandible I couldn't get much info on.

Now for you...Blake, especially taking into account your taste in books, also Mai Minakami but in a much stronger way (gee it's almost like you and Asterisk are friends for a reason), and Hange Zoe from Attack on Titan. And for you...the 9th Doctor from Doctor Who (Best Doctor, in my opinion), Ian Malcolm from Jurassic Park (the books, although the main problem with the movie version is forgivable because Crichton does have to be dumbed down for a studio audience), and Harry Dresden from the Dresden Files. At least in the first three quarters of the first book, which is as far as I've gotten.

The characters I picked for myself (while completely forgetting about Nicholas St North somehow) on FB were Alexis Louis Armstrong from Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Andy Dwyer from Parks and Recreation, and Beast from the 90's animated X-Men.

Natendo: Now that I've done some googling research, Samantha Carter seems to fit pretty well. I can't get anything on Chen Lien though. Nothing about personality, though it seems that she's pretty badass. Still not done trying to find characters for you...

As for characters, Mai Minakami seems to be a quiet girl that's intelligent, from what I can see. Deadpan, me, jokes/pranks/tomfoolery, both I'd think, random, yeah that's both... Oh wow, she's a lot like me. Wow. Not the shy-sensitive part, but other than that, wow. Chizuru Honsho... her 'Personality' on the Bleach wiki basically just says 'lesbian,' which is no help at all. But I got a little info from other parts. She's apparently uh, 'disturbed'? (Hey, not my words!) And... perverted? Well, that'd cover the crazier parts. So I can understand that. Oh! I completely forgot about Pepper! Yeah, that'd make sense!

Already said stuff about Mai, (fun fact, I have a classmate named Mai) Blake, yeah, I can very much see that. Kinda impassive book lover, behaves very much like a cat extreme at times, yeah, I get it.Second one, passionate, driven, subject to rant, sometimes viewed as eccentric. It fits, it fits. You did a good job on my characters, claps for you. Actually, claps for everybody, because this was fucking hard. And wait, wasn't it 'The Pot calling The Kettle black'?
