I think I've said totes magotes at many points in time, Mythic.

And while I do make Dad jokes, I do not have a monopoly on them.

What I have a monopoly on is sweating bullets because Jack's either been removed or forgotten in the Vytal Tournament and I've got serious plot points that affect Jack, Marlon, Fortuna, Nathan, Mauve, Orabel, Red, Cheri, Gray, Kushii, and Ki riding on him actually being in the tournament, and I even went over the basics and did some secretive planning with Dr Gustave and Fox beforehand. These points have year-long or longer results and set up quite a few things, and waiting a whole other year is beyond risky and annoying as there won't exactly be a ton of second years involved if there is even a second Vytal at all. And of course it pushes all this back by a whole year.
