Appearance: Standing at an impressive 6’5” and weighing in at 260 pounds of mostly muscle, Kyran gives off a very intimidating presence. His messy, jet black hair falls past his piercing yellow eyes most of the time, and also hides his panther ears that rest on top of his head. He also has a long black tail that he hides by wrapping it around his waist. (This has caused a bit of confusion with some people for…various reasons.) Kyran has some pretty sharp fangs that actually show from his mouth even when it’s closed, which some people find strangely cute.
When not in his usual school uniform, Kyran likes to wear a simple black tanktop with either gray sweatpants or athletic shorts and tennis shoes. His battle outfit consists of a dark grey shirt, a black leather jacket, and black trousers with a nice pair of combat boots.
History: Kyran was born to a poor family in Atlas. The treatment of Faunus in the kingdom was (and still is) very poor, so Kyran and his family never had a fair shot at anything. Not long after he was born, his family was evicted by their landlord after some very unscrupulous decisions. Not long after they had been living on the streets, Kyran’s father was harassed and eventually killed by some corrupt Atlesian law enforcement. Fearing for her life, Kyran’s mother grabbed the child and fled the kingdom, managing to find haven in Vacuo.
Many years later, Kyran still had no idea what happened to his father, or of how Atlas treated his kind. All he’s ever known was the deserts of Vacuo. To his mother’s slight annoyance, he decided to become a Hunter and enroll in Oasis (and later Beacon) to see the world, while his mother would love nothing more than for her dear son to be shielded from all the prejudice he’ll surely face in the world.
Personality: Kyran is a walking example of the phrase, "you can't judge a book by its cover." Kyran is stubborn to a fault, and often does the opposite of what someone will tell him out of humor and a little bit of sarcastic spite. He also tends to be a bit of a softie despite his outward appearance, and loves being with and taking care of others, no matter what. He’s a man of few words, and thus a very good listener. He also tends to keep to himself, not being one to open up to others about his problems.

SEMBLANCE UNDER CONSTRUCTION
Combat Behavior: Kyran’s large statue would have you believe that he’s the type to rush in and be very offensive, but this is actually far from the truth. Kyran likes to be in the back in any sort of team setup, taking shots at the enemy from afar with his rifle. When forced into close range combat, he isn’t exactly out of his element, but it’s definitely his weaker point.
