"Oh Oh tell me more." Sonya said enraptured by the story. She smiled and listened to the story well. She had read about it but never saw the outcome, since she had a mission the next day and forgot about it.

Alice smiled at her daughters enthusiasm "Well this stays between us OK? The official report states that it turned violent when I got there, but the truth is when I found him, he and some friends of his where plastered turned out that it was all an elaborate ruse to have some fun and get drunk off their asses. They all begged me not to tell their parents a couple even offered me money to keep quiet.", she chuckled menacingly then said "I took their offers and we were about to head back when the sound of three large Deathstalkers could be heard charging at us."

Alice took a drink and then said "Well I think we both know how that turned out... with Deathstalker bits all over the sand. Then we headed back to Vaccuo and I held my tounge about what really happened, but as soon as those boys handed me the lien I was out the door getting a transport back to Vale."

Sonya just rolled her eyes. "If that was me or Anita you'd kick our asses." She said with a grin. "Either way sounds like you had fun." She said smiling.

Alice chuckled after taking a drink and said "You bet your ass I would, anyway their parents still seemed to find out about what really happened by an anonymous email sent the day I landed in Vale.", she only chuckled and wondered how in the hell she still had coffee in this cup.

"Anonymous uh?" She asked making a straight face. "Well I'm sure it was just a worried individual." She said with a wink. She laughed when she saw her mother still had coffee. "How is there coffee left?"

Alice was so confused and she looked up at Sonya and stared for a second before shrugging and saying "How the hell should I know.", it took her another few seconds before she downed the rest of the coffee then said "There all gone.", she checked the cup again just in case, seeing it empty she set it down "Yup all gone. Hey did you want to go somewhere or if nothing else just walk around town?"

"Sure! Let's go explore." She said happily. She finished off her water and sighed. "Water good." She said with a goofy smile.

Alice smiled and stood up before heading to go pay for the drink, after she paid for it she turned around, grabbed Sonya by the arm and marched (Nora style) out the door. Once outside Alice almost grabbed a blunt from her pocket but stopped herself halfway through, she looked up at her daughter and said with a smile "You know sometimes I still wonder where you got that amazing height, cause you sure as hell didn't get it from me."

"Meh. Dad says women in his family tend to be pretty tall." She said recalling her last visit there and meeting her aunt. She was taller than him and me. She said remembering the shocked look on her face.

Alice chuckled as she walked "So when was the last time you saw you're father? Last time I got to see him was well over a month ago.", she smiled as she remembered every moment she was with her beloved husband, the first thing she did after getting off that airship was hug him close not wanting to leave Hus side even though she knew it would come eventually.

"About three weeks ago. He was having some sort of event going on, and I opted for a chance to head over. Namely cause it was during down time here and I got sooooo boored." She said with a groan. "When I went over I met his sisters, they were taller than me." She said standing straight.

Alice shuddered "That's scary to think about, more so the sisters then the event.", Alice laughed before seeing a knight walking the streets ahead, her face stayed the same happy but her mood seemed to darken.

Sonya took notice of this and looked to her mother. "You okay ma?" She asked confused as to why her mood seemed to vanish. It was strange....all it took was a knight. I wonder what's up. She thought waiting on her mother's response.

Alice shook her head and said "Look at that knight and tell me what you see, cause I can almost bet you we see two vary different things.", her tone said she was serious and her fave matched it.

Sonya stared at the knight intently. Thinking long and hard about it. "A robot that took a lot of money and resources to build?" She asked continuing to stare deeply at the robot. Staring so hard she wanted to see if robots could feel nervous.
